Fairly satisfied - 2003 Honda Pilot
By TC IN TEXAS - September 26 - 10:00 amBiggest disappointment> no auto door lock when put in gear. -No unlock from inside with door handle, have to hunt around for poorly placed, badly situated lock/unlock button. Seat adjustments seem to revert to a setting unlike previous setting -Poor gas milage. -Ac instructions vague and confusing. -Rear (heavy) door is unassisted & cumbersome

By leroy - August 17 - 11:04 pmThe Pilot is comfortable to drive and has good storage capacity. However we have had multiple problems that have ranged from a stress cracked windshied to electrical problems ..... our 3rd Honda product and most disappointing.

I love the Pilot! - 2003 Honda Pilot
By northeast_driver - July 28 - 11:51 amI love my Pilot for many reasons: great in snow/bad weather, decent fuel economy for an suv (18.5/22 mi/gal), takes regular gas, powerful, accelerates easily, very spacious, many storage compartments, comfortable interior, easy to handle (turn and park), good visibility, no problems so far. Everybody who gets in the car loves it as well. A great buy!

SUZ NEW TOY - 2003 Honda Pilot
By SUZ - July 19 - 2:00 amI am a short lady, the sun visor does not come down far enough to keep the sun out of my eyes, have to stretch up. too much windshield and not enough sun shield. Dash could have been a little smaller and buttons (clock) could have been viewable for the smaller persons who will buy. Would have loved some contrast color on the body side molding. Would have loved a dark blue one.

Reliable, Well Engineered, but boring - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Fred - July 16 - 1:45 pmI bought the Honda for the ability to car pool kids, take road trips, great value and to know that I have a very reliable vehicle that wont cost me much to maintain. I have not been disappointed. I knew that I was buying a boring SUV in terms of style and performance. Of course, I have typically owned BMWs but the X5 only seats 5. Plus, I would have had to buy a three year old X5 for the price of a new Pilot. A no brainer. I drive my 10 year old BMW 318 ic to work and for fun! The Pilot comes out on the weekends and the evenings when car pools are in order. I highly recommend the Pilot, but dont expect to take those corners at 80. PS:gas mileage has been disappointing 15-16 mixed

Good purchase - 2003 Honda Pilot
By David - June 29 - 7:36 pmAll around good vehicle, 4WD works great in snow, gas mileage is about 20. Has area between front seats that collect trash and its almost impossible to clear. The good news is that you cant see this trash unless you know exactly where to look. Would be my first pick if I were looking for a small SUV.
