Warped rotor discs on day one. Air conditioning was/is weak after replacing the control head. Run flat tires are terrible, 21K and they are nearly bald, yet the dealer is still pushing them at 45-50K. Called Michelin and they said you should get 35-40K as well and when I told them of my plight they said take it to a tire place for their consideration. Dealership after one year still cannot replace rubber on tire and am having difficulty finding a shop that can replace them. Dealership also stated that if the rim is rubbed in any way, you must buy new rim system with tire for about $600. Highly discourage this vehicle for all considering.

  • Disappointed with my new Honda - 2005 Honda Odyssey

I am disappointed with my purchase for the following reasons: low mileage (14.5 mpg city, 24 mpg high way). The car has about a dozen small quality issues. The driver and front passenger seat are not comfortable due to the position of the (non- telescoping) steering wheel. The electric doors do not close well, together with the wind noise you never feel secure about properely shut doors. The doors had to be aligned, since they were chipping the paint. The car has a bumpy ride, it in no way doubles as a sedan, its a truck . The raised expectations were clearly not met. You should do a much more extensive test drive then me before you buy.

  • Lots Of Quality Problems - 2005 Honda Odyssey

Fun to drive and comfortable but has been in shop 7 times with quality issues. Steering wheel pump replaced, sliding door problems, seat fell apart, etc. Lots of wind noise. Have talked to dealership and corporation and they dont care that a brand new car is in the shop all the time. I dont recommend this car to anyone!

  • Watch out of 05s Issues - 2005 Honda Odyssey

I love my van as far as features, roominess, etc. but Ive had continual problems with grinding brakes. The dealership FINALLY resealed around windshield to rid wind noise, plastic around glove-box, leg area gets VERY easily "bummed" up. I would not recommend an 05 to anyone. In general its a great van but the new model has had way to many quirks for me. My 9 year old Ford Windstar could beat this van up as far as durability, now special features it does rate tops. Considering trading my 05 for an 06 hoping theyve fixed the quirks.

  • Interior comfort questionable - 2005 Honda Odyssey

As a tall male, the driver seat has a # of problems. The power seat will not go low enough for good site,if seat set back to provide leg room, cant reach the steering wheel unless you lower the steering wheel and then you cant see the speedometer. The side lumbar seat cushion is so narrow that you must be extremely small of hips or you are sitting in the seat well and on the sides of the seat. Very uncomfortable for trips of more than 3 hours. Outside temperature gauge is toggled with the odometer so you can either see your total mileage or outside temperature, but not both. For some strange reason you have two( 2) trip odometers in case you cant figure out how far it is on the return trip
