Overview & Reviews
The Odyssey gains a number of improvements this year. Included with the Odyssey 2.1 upgrade is more power, a new five-speed transmission, standard rear disc brakes and side airbags, optional leather seating and DVD entertainment, two new exterior colors and minor interior storage refinements.
- Excellent crash-test scores, huge interior, fold-flat third-row seat, powerful V6, optional navigation and entertainment system, a bargain at sticker price.
- Slow power sliding doors, dealer markup still a possibility.

Very Good but Get the best. - 2002 Honda Odyssey
By Penn State - May 22 - 2:00 amAfter a long debate between getting the LX or the EX. I opted for the LX mainly because of price. So far everything about this Van is great. Exeptional Honda quality as I expected. However when I see one of the kids slamming the manual side doors I find myself wishing I would have spend the extra money for the EX model with the smooth closing power doors. Either way LX or EX compared to the competition you cant beat the Honda Odyssey mini van.

Could it get any better than this??!! - 2002 Honda Odyssey
By ppakrb - January 10 - 10:00 amThe comfort in this van is unbelievable!!! The room and space is excellent. Its made for every size person in mind. The heated seats are very nice for the cold weather.

gone! - 2002 Honda Odyssey
By former owner - September 3 - 2:00 amMy power sliders failed me three times, even after mechanisms were replaced by dealer. I do not recommend the EX better stay with the LX. Also...you will need a good set of snow tires if you have to drive in New England, as handling is terrible in snow.

Very Convenient Minivan - 2002 Honda Odyssey
By Ram - April 22 - 10:00 amI have driven other minivans from ford and chrysler. While chrysler minivans are fun to drive, this is the most comforatble and convenient minivan. The major compliant I have is that it is too noisy and Im having lot of trouble with the sliding doors.

Love my van! - 2002 Honda Odyssey
By Cindy Mac - October 22 - 10:00 amI went from driving a 1995 Suburban to my new Odyssey, and I couldnt be happier with this van! Its like driving a sports car for moms. My two kids and all their stuff fit great. Even my husband, who is six-foot, two- inches tall, can fit in it comfortably.

2002 EXL-RES is best - 2002 Honda Odyssey
By redody - January 17 - 3:56 pmGreat van, compared to previous gm van. Superior room, comfort, and power. Tight as a drum. Family looks forward to trips with DVD always ready to go. Road noise is the only downside. Van could use more soundproofing. Paid sticker but worth every cent. Have never said that before and never paid sticker either till now.
