  • Excellent crash test scores, huge interior, fold-flat third-row seat, powerful V6, optional navigation and entertainment system.
Cons:
  • Quality of some interior materials could be better, high demand limits negotiating possibilities.

  • Pulling left at highway speeds - 2003 Honda Odyssey

I have experienced the car pulling left at highway speeds especially when in the passing lanes. Honda has had the car 2 times and tell me they test drive it with having the same problem. I would like to know if anybody else is havig the same problem. I am going to request a technician ride with me. Other than that the vechicle performs great.

Very dissatisified with the fuel mileage. 12 city and 16 highway. Our 94 Aerostar with all wheel drive did much better and would run circles around our Odyssey. Has developed a real bad clunking sound from the rear brakes/suspension. Typical dearlership babble, "they all do that". We have 22,000 miles on it now and it has developed several rattles, clunks and other loose sound from both the front and rear suspensions and other areas under the van. I have no doubt that the engine and drivetrain will last 250,000 miles or more, but I am wondering if the rest of the vehicle will last as long?

I can go to the park with my 2 kids , my wife and still have space for a baby carruage and a 12 volts toy car(for two kids. All that only took 7 minutes to load. I always like the body style.

The van handles nicely with plenty of power. The exterior is nice. The interior design is the selling feature. It is spacious throughout the vehicle. The rear seat will fold down into the floor making a level surface in the back for cargo, or you can take the back seat and flip it backwards for a tailgate party! The captains chairs in the second row are comfortable and can slide together to make a bench seat. The safety features include dual front and side airbags and reinforced door panels for the second row.

This is our second Odyssey (our first was a 2000 LX) and we love it! We opted to sell our 2000 because we wanted the improved safety of the side airbags as well as some of the other features of the EX (power doors, remote entry, etc.). The 2003 has more pep and rides a bit more smoothly on rough road. More luxury car feel and handling...and all for $25,000! My wife drives 40 mi/day with three kids to work and babysitters...safety counts and this vehicle has it (5 stars in all categories).

After test driving the 2004 Sienna on at least 5 different occassions, I ended up going with the Honda Odyssey. Yes, the Sienna has great features such as a split rear seat and power rear door (on the XLE), but I felt the Siennas engine, suspension and brakes were a bit soft. Plus, there are WAY TO MANY option packages offered on the Sienna. A couple of dealers told me I couldnt choose which options I wanted, but rather pick from what Toyota sends. Overall, the Odyssey was a better fit for me.

This is our second Odyssey. Our first was a 2000 EX. This new one is a huge improvement over the 99-01 Odysseys. It has much more power, a better ride, better handling, more features, and less problems. We had the Honda accessory DVD player installed. Its a must have for any family on a road trip.
