For 2004, the Envoy adds several items to the options list, including XM Satellite Radio (and a new stereo to accommodate it), a DVD-based navigation system and adjustable pedals. There are also a few minor equipment changes this year. In SLE models, the door trim is now vinyl instead of cloth, and lumbar adjustment for the front seats is two-way manual rather than the previous four-way feature. Additionally, there is no longer a power outlet in the cargo area, and SLE badging will no longer grace the B-pillars. SLT models also get a revised steering wheel. Lastly, when playing a DVD in Envoys with the optional entertainment system, you can now hear it through the audio system in addition to the wireless headphones.

Awesome ride! - 2004 GMC Envoy
By LFerr - February 2 - 2:00 amWow! What a comfortable ride in this SUV! As soon as I test drove (24 hour GM test drive special) the SLT model of the Envoy, I was in love. SLT model had some incredible bells & whistles. Although, we chose the SLE b/c we wanted cloth interior. Have been really impressed w/ the quality of interior & ride. Seats have confort & pleny of room for cargo & kids.

By villegas - December 21 - 2:00 amI GOT MY ENVOY IN SEPTEMBER 2003. I LOVE DRIVING IT I FEEL VERY SAFE ON THE FREEWAY. I TRAVEL ALOT AND HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. WEVE ALSO WENT UP TO SEQUOIA PARK AND IT WAS GREAT WITH ALL THE TURNS. THE RIDE WAS VERY SMOOTH.

Outstanding SUV! - 2004 GMC Envoy
By Happy in Huntsville - November 30 - 8:18 amI bought this one used a year ago. I have driven it to and from work and on long trips several times and am very pleased with everything about it. After putting 20K miles on it - I have had zero problems. I average 18 - 19 mpg work and back, 21+ on long trips and 16 pulling a bass boat. Love the power and ride!

A-1 - 2004 GMC Envoy
By Ray/Gordon - November 21 - 10:00 amDue to the fact I live in a national forest next to a higher elevation mountain, and I can easily have snow and ice when the lower lands do not, I need 4wd. My Envoy is "peppy" and comfortable. There is plenty of room for driver, passengers, and baggage. I could easily rate my Envoy a 9.5.

Good old "JIMMY" - 2004 GMC Envoy
By Jolly Roger - November 15 - 2:00 amIM printing about a 1996 Jimmy. I have been driving for 64 years and, in that time, have owned an awful array of vehicles. My present vehicle is a 1996 Jimmy. Without reservations, I can say it is the finest piece of machinery I have ever owned!! It has never failed me or my wife. We would like to buy another "JIMMY" but are worried that it would not match the one we own.

First Impressions - 2004 GMC Envoy
By wwhc43a - July 16 - 10:00 amI looked far and wide for the best deal on an SUV regardless of brand or ultimate price - hey, I like to save LOTS of cash on a vehicle I like. Without influence by sterotype reviews that always seem to bash American- designed products I went SUV shopping. The ENVOY won my game. I got a great price ($25,222 out the door including all taxes, etc.) for a vehicle that was priced after taxes at around $35,000. AND IT IS A WONDERFUL VEHICLE TO DRIVE-- AND LOOKS GREAT. I have had some time to inspect the interior and exterior build - especially the engine, frame, etc. I AM IMPRESSED.

Awsome ride! - 2004 GMC Envoy
By Dee - May 10 - 2:40 pmI bought my Envoy new and I absolutely love it! I have had minor problems. Driver window sticks 2/3 of the way down and will not roll up or down. It has been in the shop 19 times and everything has been replaced but the wiring and the window. The 4wd light is starting to flash for no reason so it is going back to the shop. Other then this, I love the Envoy. The Envoy with the 3rd row seat has a much better ride the the ones without! It glides down the road just as well as a Cadillac. My husband refused to drive it because he is afraid he will fall asleep behind the wheel because it is so smooth.

Buy this SUV!!! - 2004 GMC Envoy
By lec - April 16 - 10:00 amI just cant tell you how in love with the Envoy I am!!! We were looking for several months for an SUV. We have a 4 1/2 month old and we were so concerned about safety for him and comfort for us and the Envoy was the right choice for us. We looked at many different SUVs...All american I must say..Jeep, TrailBlazer, Grand Cherokee, etc... By far the GMC Envoy had the most complete safety package for the money and OH MY....just try to compare the interior to anything else!!! (leather) I love this SUV!! I hope that this review is helpful in your decision.
