This Year's Model Updates:

The 2010 Ford Mustang puts a bounce in its gallop with rejuvenated styling inside and out. It also boasts larger wheels, standard stability control and more power for the V8-powered GT model. Handling has been improved across the board, and the GT benefits from suspension tuning from last year's discontinued Bullitt edition. An optional GT TrackPack further sharpens the Mustang GT's suspension for track duty. Additionally, Ford's voice-activated Sync multimedia integration system is now available for the Mustang.

Pros:
  • Powerful acceleration and great V8 soundtrack in GT trim, available Ford Sync system, good performance bang for the buck with the V8.
Cons:
  • Weak and outdated V6, unimpressive fuel economy all around.

Traded in 08 GT for new 10. Quite a bit different. Exterior is sleeker and interior is worlds better. Materials are much better, very quiet inside (until you step on it). Even turn signal is a significant improvement. Not really any faster, but definitely handles better. Friend just got SS Camaro. It is faster, but feels much bigger than Mustang on the road and more cramped inside (I am 61").

Just bought the car new a few weeks ago. Have been enjoying it ever since. Lots of compliments on the car, especially the color -Kona Blue metallic. Plenty of power, decent comfort and handles surprisingly well for its size. Nice stereo. Sync system works well but takes a while to figure out.

  • Long time Honda buyer goes with a GT - 2010 Ford Mustang

This is the first Ford product I have owned in 20 years and I have to say that Ford has made serious progress. I have casually considered GT Mustangs for the past 10 years - I wanted that V- 8 engine - but was put off by many things. Among other things, the poor quality and ergonomics of the interior, the cheap black side mirrors, and rather bland handling. But I guess Ford finally listened to Consumer Reports. The interior is 200% improved over previous models and they finally put body-colored side mirrors on the car. The handling, however, is what really shocked me. It is on par with my Acura TL. The engine, of course, is what this car is about. It will not disappoint.

  • Great value - Muscle Car Classic - 2010 Ford Mustang

I test drove a mustang convertible 16 years ago but put off the purchase because of the insurance cost. 16 years later I finally purchased a 2010 gt prem conv(one of the benefits of getting old...lower insurance costs) and could not be happier. This car is true American muscle car its powerful, fun to drive and a great value. The cons (axle, handling.....) are all shortcomings I can live with. So if you are in the market for a muscle car I would highly recommend this car. I considered buying a late 60s early 70s muscle car but decided that the Mustang would give me the same thrill/feel without the hassle of dealing with an ongoing restoration project.

  • Great Base model - 2010 Ford Mustang

Traded in our family car (2015 hyundai sonata) for 2ea mustangs with this being one. Let me say first off the v6 with the 4.0 and a 5-speed is one of the most solid setups these guys put together and it doesnt disappoint. Has great power and all but keeps up with my wife 2014 with the v6 which is supposedly updated and has about 100hp on mine... hmmm lol Interior quality is lacking with hard plastic everywhere but it is a base model and this was bought with long range reliability in mind... and plastic wont rip or fade like leather haha. Seats are sufficient and almost exactly what I remember in my fathers setup. Front passengers German priority and the back has extremely limited room with smaller seats... adequate for 1 person to stretch across both sides lol. Where this car shines is the exterior and performance. The outside of this car is beautiful in the super red and has more than enough giddy up to have a little fun. Turn of traction control and it gets even better without blowing through tires in the v8. Overall they did a great job with this... Base model is really set up for the pure enthusiast that doesnt need/want many bells and whistles that over time will fail... and everything that could be improved upon has in new models... amazing job on this one ford.
