This Year's Model Updates:

Lower-line V6 models get standard 16-inch alloy wheels and a new hood while losing the fake side scoops. Premium models can be equipped with a Mach 1000 audio system. Both this system and the Mach 460 get speed-sensitive volume. Later this year, an MP3 player will be available. Performance Red paint is replaced with Torch Red.

Pros:
  • Strong V8 power with GT, fun to drive, appealing all-American style, good crash-test scores, ragtop option.
Cons:
  • Solid rear axle, excessive gingerbread detailing on GT, poor stereo ergonomics, flaccid seats.

The experience with the car has been pretty good. The only problem was understanding how the hood needed to be closed very heavily (i.e. dropped from a height), and that on occasion the parking brake seems to stick on a little cuasing over heating of the brakes.

This is my third mustang. I went from the standard v6 coupe, to the v6 coupe premium convertible, to the now v8 premium convertible....which is no other way to describe than Simply Amazing. The v6 is good......but once you drive the amazing v8, you will not settle for anything less. If you can afford the extra cash I highly suggest opting for the more agressive v8.

This car is great. The performance is the main selling point. I got my Stang for my second childhood. The only thing I find fault in is the front seat design. The GT does not have a head rest that actually works. Besides that the car is great, perfomance out of the box is more than impressive, and best of all the chicks love it.

This is a great car for what it is. Highly reliable and much sexier than a Focus for only about $1,500 more. The Mustang still turns heads and the V6 is insurable for teenagers. While I wouldnt want to drive cross country in it, its a great commuter, off to college car.

I have driven my car for about 8 months and I love it. True there are more powerful cars out there but they have bigger engine. The 4.6 does great for its displacement and I think that the car has a great drivetrain. I would have to rate this car higher than any Ive had to date excepting my new 93 Cobra. The quality and dependability of the car is great and it draws attention if you like that concept.

I have only owned my Mustang for two months, but I am definitely in love! Beside the fact that the Mustang is fun to drive, it has an amazing looking body style. Young or old, if you are looking for a fun, sporty, attractive car, a Mustang is the right choice for you!

I wish it had the independent suspension on the rear. Rear end hop is bad on rough corners
