Lower-line V6 models get standard 16-inch alloy wheels and a new hood while losing the fake side scoops. Premium models can be equipped with a Mach 1000 audio system. Both this system and the Mach 460 get speed-sensitive volume. Later this year, an MP3 player will be available. Performance Red paint is replaced with Torch Red.
- Strong V8 power with GT, fun to drive, appealing all-American style, good crash-test scores, ragtop option.
- Solid rear axle, excessive gingerbread detailing on GT, poor stereo ergonomics, flaccid seats.

By Pedermen - April 7 - 2:00 amI love the way the car drives and handles. If you take care of it, it will take care of you. With a flowmaster exhaust system, it will sound close to a GT, gives a great driving experience. Even without exhaust it is fun and fast.

By MattPr - April 3 - 2:00 amWe bought our 02 GT brand new off the lot and love it. The Premium package was worth it leather everything, 17" Bullitt wheels and Mach 460 stereo. Gas mileage is good for the V8 20 city, 26-28 highway. I wouldnt trade the car for anything except a Mach 1 or Cobra. (Maybe next year) And black was definitely the color the car looks MEAN.

I do thoroughly love my car. The white finish and beige interior and accenting on the body is awesome. Its the pony I never got for my 4th birthday! -)

Paint Job!!! - 2002 Ford Mustang
By Angela Hebert - February 3 - 2:00 amI loved my mustang until the paint just started flaking away on a routine carwash. Be careful with Ford and their paint!!!! They will not pay for it to be repainted. I am especially disappointed in my dealership(The Bohn Zone) they wouldnt "cut me a deal" because I didnt get maintance work done their. I thought buying the car their would be enough. So ask about these things before you buy a 2002 or any other Ford.

Not made to transport large people in the rear seats, but plenty of room in the trunk. Anxious to get the 2005 and put it into service!

My 2002 GT convertable - 2002 Ford Mustang
By joetech - January 26 - 2:00 amI have had a great experience with this automobile. It has turned heads from day 1! Everybody comments on this car, especially the sleek look and its curb appeal. I have never had any major issues with this car. The drivers door window motor was replaced shortly after I purchased, other than that it has been no issues at all! This is a FORD product, it was built well.

We Love This Car! - 2002 Ford Mustang
By BStoringer - January 4 - 2:00 amIt may be too early to give this car a total review because my wife and I just bought this car yesteday, but our initial experience is nothing short of spectacular. The ride is smooth and I love the muscled roar of the engine as you accelerate. With the V6 engine, Im not going to win too many drag races, but thats not why we bought the car. The interior is more comfortable than many of the other sports cars we have and I could go on and on about how much I love how it looks. We got a dark blue Stang and it is the most beautiful car I have ever owned.
