All 2007 Ford Mustangs come with an auxiliary input jack for MP3 players, while Sirius satellite radio is a new option. Late in the model year, a DVD-based navigation system will also be available. Seventeen-inch wheels are now a stand-alone option on V6 models. A new Comfort Package with heated seats, six-way power adjustments for the front-passenger seat and an auto-dimming rearview mirror is available on V6 Premium and all GT models. There are also a couple of new trim packages for the GT: Offered in all 50 states, the California Special Package provides black leather seats with contrasting Dove or Parchment inserts; revised front and rear fascias; side scoops; 18-inch machined wheels; "GT/CS" door stripes and polished exhaust tips. The GT Appearance Package offers just the exhaust tips, a hood scoop and an engine cover with the pony emblem. Additionally, Grabber Orange has been added as an exterior paint choice. And as of July 2006, powertrain warranty coverage is extended to five years/60,000 miles.
- Solid V8 power in GT models, about as well mannered as a car with a solid-axle rear suspension can get, slick retro interior, good cabin ergonomics.
- No side curtain airbags or stability control, low-grade interior plastics, seats need more lateral support.

Second time owner - 2007 Ford Mustang
By 2nd Mustang - May 12 - 2:40 amPurchased a 2002 Mustang GT for the wife and wound up driving it myself as our family grew. Just replaced the 2002 at 96K miles with only changing tires, oil.. etc. New Mustang goes beyond the 02 quality. Styling is excellent, and you can tell the engineers put a lot of time into this vehicle. Expecting to have the same success with the 07 as with the 02

What a car! - 2007 Ford Mustang
By 07 Mustang GT - January 29 - 5:43 am2 weeks of ownership and I love this car. This new model is COMPLETELY different from the previous Mustang. I love starting up the car & hearing the V8 engine roar. A friend of mine who has a Prius sat in the drivers seat & started the car and loved it, and chuckled & laughed all the way to his Toyota. The car is very tight, no weird noises or anything. The ride is comfortable, easy to drive around town and feel good. The engine has plenty of power & sounds awesome. The engine sound reminds me of my old 70 Mach 1 and 70 Trans Am. The handling is good, much better than any Mustang I have owned in the past. The seats are comfortable and the a/c is cold. Cool, very cool car.

Until 2005 Mustangs had been gradually & pathetically compromised by quality and design beginning in the mid seventies. Now we have the best of both worlds, new age technology, cutting edge performance and classic design. Yes, they have cut a few corners, big deal. This particular design window and the features available has made this one of the new generation of collector cars. Somebody at Ford finally got "it." From the growl of the engine, to the stereo system, to the custom wheels and all the technology in between, it is everything we could never of dreamed up in the 60s. The most FUN! car I have ever owned.

Its hard to decide if you want a new muscle car which really ony gives you the option of the Mustang, or to go with a foriegn to get the mileage. Ive got 1500 miles and am extremely happy. The car gives you a road race ready experience. The automatic has virtually no problems. The shifts are so quick its unbelievable, and once you get those tires smokin you better hope youre in a parking lot because its all over the place.

By Jim - September 25 - 4:40 pmMy Mustang GT California Special is more than I expected and has plenty of power and rides great. The 3 valve engine just keeps pulling and the suspension is smooth and tight. The California package is worth the price and I love the car.

Great first experience with a Mustang - 2007 Ford Mustang
By Ben - September 4 - 9:23 amI just bought a 2007 Mustang V6, which is my first new car and a serious step up from my old beater. I absolutely love the way it looks and its a blast to drive. The interior looks great and is very comfortable, with only 2 exceptions. Having a manual tranny, I find the cupholders are not very good, and the car really need an overhead handle on the passenger side. Other than that the car is great. Its fun to drive, looks great and is still resonably roomy for a sports car.

Fun To Drive To Work - 2007 Ford Mustang

Yes, its not built like the expensive sport cars (I also drive a Porsche C4S), but it has the muscle and get up and go you would expect from our Dads old throw back muscle cars. If youre looking for a superior quality sports car at $26K, forget it. If youre looking for something to have fun with and get your heart rate up as you floor the accelerator, the Mustang GT will do the trick. I purchased the California Package and love the extras. Besides, theres an enormous amount of extras you can purchase to personalize your Mustang in performance and styling. Love the car!

The Vista Kidster - 2007 Ford Mustang
By Nini - August 12 - 2:06 amI love my 07 Mustang. Since I was 16 I always wanted a 66, but I just didnt see how that would have been sensible. Now years later I have features of that model and updated ones. I cant explain how much I love my car. It drives just like I dreamed it would. The sound system is awesome. I actually want to drive it just to listen to the engine and the radio. If you love sporty cars then this is a great car to own.

By Blue Thunder - April 19 - 6:50 pmThis was a well thought out purchase, after test driving the Mazda RX-8, 350-Z and Vette. I was very surprised at how well Ford had done with the Mustang GT; the handling and horsepower are a far cry from the earlier models. I almost did not consider this car, I am so glad I did. Please understand if I could afford a new Vette it would be in my driveway, but for $15,000+ difference the Mustang GT wins. Take one for a test drive I bet it will end up in your driveway!
