This Year's Model Updates:

Changes for the 2007 Ford Fusion are mostly related to feature content. Front seat-mounted side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags and an input jack for MP3 players are now standard. Fusion SE models also gain alloy wheels, foglamps, a CD changer and a folding front-passenger seat, while SEL models get automatic headlights, heated side mirrors and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. New options include a DVD-based navigation system, Sirius satellite radio and, on V6 models, all-wheel drive (Availability is delayed on some items.). Finally, Ford has increased drivetrain warranty protection to five years/60,000 miles.

Pros:
  • Distinctive styling for this class, plenty of legroom in both front and back, confident handling, smooth ride, competitive price.
Cons:

This car is fantastic. I bought the car brand new on August of 06 and it now has 140k miles on it. I have had almost no issues with the car. The temperature read on the engine went out and the struts are bad, thats about it. The gas mileage is great, the car is spacious and quick (not terribly fast, but quick enough to get the job done), and it is reliable. If you are looking to buy this car and you arent sure since its an older car and may be high mileage, I hope that this helps you.

Bought my 07 Ford Fusion new (30 miles) at Sunnyvale, CA Ford in late June 07, at way below MSRP and they also included a 24 month maint. service at no charge. Now nearing 57k without a bit of problems other than replacing the battery. It still has the original brakes and Continental tires, and continues to get a combined 30 mpg. Great car, much better than the 3 Series Beemer I owned and cheaper to maintain! The new 2013 Fusion looks great and considering buying one but my 07 still runs and looks new.

When i first bought this car, like a lot of others i didnt know if i would like it. after driving it home i knew i loved it. even with a breathalyzer installed, it never once let me down. Ive even been in two accidents with trucks (Ford F150 and a Dodge Ram) and a car ( Toyota Corolla ) and this car withheld it all, with next to no damage. The only problem i have with it is when it sits for about a month or longer the battery will die . this has happened twice now to me but i think maybe its just time for a new battery. And another thing to note is that ive had the brakes replaced 6 times this past year . All in all this car is definatly a champion and i would recomend it to everyone.

After 47k miles I can say it, it is a very good car for the money, still original tires, no problems whatsoever, no recalls.

I bought my Fusion brand new w/300 miles. The car was great, never had a problem with it until it hit 65k miles. Then the transmission started to shift really hard. I had a couple of mechanics look at it and none of them could promise the transmission would last another 30k miles. I just hit 125k miles this week and the transmission still shifts hard. I do change the transmission fluid every 30k so I am sure that helps. Other than that brakes, tires, a new battery and oil changes is all it has needed. One major warning I will give is that I have not been able to get a set of tires to last more than 40k miles. Every set cups and my car is in perfect alignment according to my mechanic.

We have had this car for three years and still love it. Just did the breaks and tires all around after 45,000 miles. The car handles and performs very well. Was going to get a Taurus again but glad we didnt. Much better gas mileage! Has lots of power. Love to Punch It on the highway! One problem to date dealt with the sunroof. Leaks through the sunglass holder in the headliner after an extreme rain when the car is tilted downward to the front in my driveway.

I bought the 2007 Ford Fusion in February after I had totaled my honda civic in a pretty bad accident. I wanted something built stronger, bigger and with more safety features. I went to the Ford dealership not thinking I would be able to afford a fusion but there she was sitting pretty with a great price. I fell in love with it from the start. The car handles well, runs smooth, is WONDERFUL on gas and so far so good, havent had any issues. It sounds like the belt for the air conditioner is getting ready to go, it squeals sometimes but ill get that looked at once summer rolls around again. Great car, big enough for a small family. I love it.

I purchased my Ford Fusion about 1 1/2 ago with 32K miles on it. She has been a great car! The only thing I have done is regular maintenance and put a new battery in when the other one died(I live in FL. it died int he heat of the summer) It now has 60K miles on it, and is a comfortable, quite ride. I hope to keep this car a long time and I will post when she has over 100K on her. So far so great! The new fusions are awesome looking and when it is time to look at a newer car I will definitely check it out! I would buy this car again! :0)
