Overview & Reviews
Changes for the 2007 Ford Fusion are mostly related to feature content. Front seat-mounted side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags and an input jack for MP3 players are now standard. Fusion SE models also gain alloy wheels, foglamps, a CD changer and a folding front-passenger seat, while SEL models get automatic headlights, heated side mirrors and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. New options include a DVD-based navigation system, Sirius satellite radio and, on V6 models, all-wheel drive (Availability is delayed on some items.). Finally, Ford has increased drivetrain warranty protection to five years/60,000 miles.
- Distinctive styling for this class, plenty of legroom in both front and back, confident handling, smooth ride, competitive price.

Love my Fusion - 2007 Ford Fusion
By Kelly - February 21 - 3:29 pmMy husband leased me the car new for my birthday, when the lease was up to be terminated, I just couldnt part with it. Love the looks, styling, and handling. Wish it had a little more cabin room, by 62" husband has difficulty fitting because of the sunroof. I am having issues with the drivetrain making a vibrating noise, and will have to address it soon, apparently it is a common problem with the Ford/Mercury 2007 AWDs. This car is awesome in the snow! Turning radius could be better, but it went where my friends Suburban wouldnt last year, so take that all you 4WD enthusiasts!

This car made me Ford enthusiast - 2007 Ford Fusion
By dentate gyrus - January 31 - 8:45 pmI bought the Fusion almost by chance - was looking for medium size sedan, stick shift, 4 cyl., and had Nissan or Honda on mind. Got Fusion at Airport as a rental and instantly loved it. Interior quality is superior to others in the same class. In fact, I like its dash more than 2010, which I find garish. Good ergonomics, supportive, firm seats. 25.6 mpg in stop and go! The engine feels little underpowered, but I guess this is the price for superb fuel economy. Handling is superb. Road noise considerably less than in Accord. Drove from Pittsburgh to NYC and back and did not feel tired. Manual tranny makes it much more fun to drive. So far zero problems.

Extremely reliable, high quality - 2007 Ford Fusion
By Steve - January 5 - 10:34 am50,000 miles in 3 years and occasionally the passenger seat creaks. Thats it. Not a single lose screw, repair, rattle. Nothing. This quality is confirmed by Consumer Reports which for a few years has measured this car to be THE most reliable of any car. Its crazy - I bought the V6 for less than the price of a 4 cyl. Honda Accord. Yet, when it comes to resale, this car will be hurt simply because its a Ford.

great car - 2007 Ford Fusion
By jdlutz - December 15 - 7:12 pmHighly recommend this car. Sleek design and reliability! The 07 fusion has been a very reliable car for me. The seats are very comfortable, handling is great and the sirius radio is a nice add-on. The only thing about the V6 engine is the gas mileage isnt too great. I drive about 300 miles per week and spend about $37-45 each week at an avg. of $2.89/gallon. Cost is pretty reasonable for this package!

Better than expected - 2007 Ford Fusion
By Paul L - November 20 - 8:49 pmPrevious car was Audi A4, this was a move downward. Now have 62k on odometer, just replaced tires for first time, brakes are still good, car has no squeaks or rattles. The car had one warranty service at 35k, and oil changes. It actually seems to be getting better. I didnt expect this from Ford.

Fusion SEL 6cyl. - 2007 Ford Fusion
By tom - November 11 - 3:13 amThis is a great car! The only drawback I can complain about is the gas mileage has been consistently hovering at 21mpg with about 50/50 city/highway driving. Other than that you cant buy a better car for anywhere near the price. I have all the luxury options except AWD and have had no problems with anything on the car. It handles well, has ample power and rides smooth. The sound quality from the audiophile radio is fantastic. Buy one, youll be happy!

Great Car - 2007 Ford Fusion
By FordFusion - October 30 - 5:56 pmI have owned my fusion for a little over a year, I bought it used with 30k miles on it. Right now it has 69k. I have never had any engine, brake, and transmission problems. Here are the things I had to do: change the oil, alignment, tires, and new battery. There has been nothing wrong with this car. Im also 64", I still have leg room and passengers have it also. I would recommend this to first year drivers, college students, and people look for a reliable car. It also rides that a dream hugs the road well on sharp and quick turns. If you like to take road trips this is the perfect car. I live in Houston and can go to Dallas on half of a tank. Thats approximately 200 miles.

Great Car - 2007 Ford Fusion
By viking - October 28 - 2:50 pmI have been unfortunate to have my 2006 Ford Fusion hit at 40 miles per hour while the car was stopped. The car that hit the Fusion was totaled but my car drove off with minimal damage. It took the hit well as much as the car is a joy to own it is safe as well.

Great Car - 2007 Ford Fusion
By jwinn44 - October 21 - 12:07 pmI love this car! It has a sleek look to it(Sporty yet elegant). Great sound system. Havnt had any maintenance issues after 50,000 miles. Really good handling(I had to swerve sharply on the highway once and the car was very responsive and easy to control). Very comfortable and plenty of space(even in the back seats). Great car for long comutes.
