This car is awesome! I am a former Taurus lover and was a bit skeptical at first, however I simply love this car!

  • Great Car - 2006 Ford Fusion

I considered buying the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, and Nissan Altima; however I found all three of those to offer shortcomings. The Honda Accords styling I found odd and ugly, the Toyota Camrys responses I found to be dull and slothful, and the Nissan Altimas ride was harsh and its styling looking too much like something a boy-racer would want. Then I saw the Fusion. It looked classy and sophisticated - a few people on the street thought it was a BMW until they saw the badge on the front. The car handles great, has great pep, and best of all the interior is genuinely useful - great car.

  • Happy until... - 2006 Ford Fusion

Very pleased with my Fusion for the first 38,00 miles. First problem was the tires that came on the car wore out in 20,000 miles, I normally get around 40,000, next the key could not be removed from the ignition. Dealer replaced button on the shift lever, $206. Now the drivers side door handle broke, unable to open door from inside. Having checked with dealer yet on repair cost.

  • No Complaints! - 2006 Ford Fusion

Aside from the regular oil changes, weve never had anything mechanically wrong with this car. Its a blast to drive on the highway, but have to watch your speed (sometimes 90 can feel like 70). We did have one major repair done, when a chunk of metal fell off a truck and destroyed the transmission. Other than that, 32,000 miles and a real love for this car. When we bought it, the dealer threw in a remote start, which is real handy in the winter cold.

  • Two years of ownership, still loving it! - 2006 Ford Fusion

I purchased my Fusion new in August 2006. It currently has 17,025 miles on it and I average 25.6 City and 28.4 Hwy MPG. It is a far better car than I had expected. My friends call it my baby Cadillac. It sure rides like one! Best car investment I had made so far!

When I first saw this car online I really didnt care for it, but I must say that up close and personal was a whole nother story. I fell in love. The Fusion is sleek and sporty, my kids love it. I had been driving a 4x4 for years and thought that I couldnt go without it, but I must say I have no problems in the snow. I live in upstate Pennsylvania where we get a lot of snow, and I dont think twice about going out in a storm, handles great. No matter where I go, I am always being asked what I think of this car, people in a parking lot always seem to stop and look. The car is awesome. There isnt another car out there that can give the performance and style for the price.

  • Still loving this Ford Fusion V6 SEL - 2006 Ford Fusion

Well, Ive had my Fusion SEL V6 for almost 2 years now, and I still love it. It has been a great car, sweet to look and and very reliable. Maintenance has been a breeze, and the V6 pep is always there when I need it. Love it!

  • Right Style, Right Price, Right Car - 2006 Ford Fusion

My other car is an 04 Ford EB Expedition and we traded in an 02 Mercury Mountaineer for this vehicle. My youngest son started following the introduction of this car back in January and got me hooked. Once gas went over $3 I knew I had to get rid of one SUV. Drivers seat is firm yet comfortable and has easy access to all features. This car looks good and handles the road very well while providing a comfortable, quiet ride, one you would expect in a more expensive car. More than adequate acceleration. and passing performance at highway speeds. Good all around visibility except with the high trunk lid, but I would not give up the trunk space, just add rear back-up sensors and moving mirrors.

Since I purchased my Fusion, all other midsize cars pale in comparison. The ease of handling and the get up and go are to say the least, amazing!

  • Finest automobile I have ever owned - 2006 Ford Fusion
    By -

I am enthralled with my Fusion. It handles and rides better than any automobile I have ever owned. The interior is fantastic. Sound system will be hard to beat. I managed 35mpg with a heavy wind at my back and suspect after a period of break in I will average about 29-30mpg. Fit and finish is as good as I have seen. Would definitely recommend the Fusion to anyone. I have the automatic and not the 5m. Shifts are concise and plenty of power. Leaving the Mustang out of the equation, in my opinion best car Ford has every built.
