  • My 2006 Ford Fusion SEL V6 - 2006 Ford Fusion

A great fun-to-drive car for the price. It has been so comfortable for me as I travel a lot for school and work. The styling is very nice and stands in a class of its own.

  • Solid vehicle - 2006 Ford Fusion

My Fusion is as solid as the day I purchased it. With just over 45,000 trouble free, squeak and rattle free miles. It drives nicely and has a solid road feel. Ford did a great job on this vehicle. I plan on keeping this vehicle for a while. I am very happy with its performance/quality/fit/finish. I strongly recommend to anyone.

  • Recent Purchase SE V6 - 2006 Ford Fusion

Spent 4 days shopping and comparing to the Camry, Altima and 05 Civic. Not even close in terms of features/performance for the price. V6 for the same price as others charging for 4 cylinders. Fun to drive! DO NOT recommend Fusion 4 cylinder. Styling is great both inside/out, ride is surprisingly smooth/quiet at highway speed. Turns heads on the street and I had a couple of folks even make a comparison to a Mercedes or Caddy! I am 6 1", 235, still fit comfortably driving or in the rear. Managing a decent 22 MPG city, even in stop/go Houston traffic. Ours included the Safety and Security package (side airbags, alarm) as well as the SE sport (6 disc CD, etc.) package. Happy Wife + Easy on the Wallet = hubby happy!

  • Gorgeous Quality Car - 2006 Ford Fusion

I was greatly surprised that after two months the car has been flawless! The Fusion is sporty and yet classy, and has a lot of room for passengers, especially in the trunk. The interior design reminds me of an Acura and the quality of a $10,000 more expensive car. I owned a 2003 Altima V4 and paid just about the same for the Fusion. However, I got a V6 in the Fusion which provides great pickup when compared to the Altimas V4 for just a little less gas mileage. The Fusions A/T smoothness in down shifting and acceleration has no rivals in other small cars like the Altima or Camry. This car has the look, feel and quality of a good $35,000 car with its 50 series (profile) tires.

  • Used to be a good car, but now... - 2006 Ford Fusion
    By -

When I got this car, I opted for all the features I could get. I wanted something with decent mileage, yet good driving. Previously owned two Ford Taurus in past, but the Fusion is not as good as a Taurus. I think the Fusion is built for tiny & skinny people who dont mind shelling out hundreds of dollars after 2yrs of driving. When I got the car new it Looked sharp & styling like a mini Cadillac. But Its interior is small. Overall I wish I would of got the Ford 500. Mileage is not made for anything but City driving. Tires wore out after 24K miles, and recently the driver side car handle broke completely off so cant get in car normally. Have to take to dealer to see what they can do.

Just got this car off an auction, and it is great! I rank it alongside my Honda Accord!

  • Great New Fusion - 2006 Ford Fusion

I bought this car in SE/I4/manual trim, two weeks ago, and Im very happy I did. Its fun to drive for a family car; in a whole different league from Malibu or Camry. The suspension and brakes are especially well done. The I4 is not overpowering, but it revs high and the manual transmission works great...feels good and the gears are tightly spaced. I also think its a beautiful car (on the outside...average on the inside), and it was inexpensive to boot. I always said if a US manufacturer builds a car that was good-looking and fun to drive with a manual transmission, I would give it a chance. Well, this is that car! Im very happy and would recommend it to anyone.

  • Got Fuel Pump - 2006 Ford Fusion
    By -

I really like this car and have driven many Ford vehicles in the past. This car replaces a 98 Contour SE Sport. I wanted a Freestyle, she wanted a Fusion. We bought the Fusion in Merlot with side airbags and 6 disc CD player. Great car. Six speed hunts at times. At 3000 miles for the complimentary oil change. My FUEL PUMP died. In the dealership Friday morning; got car back Tuesday evening, back to dealer on Wednesday afternoon (left my wife stranded) for same problem, plus other sensors ruined from fuel starvation. Got car back Friday morning. Car is running great now. Hope I did not get the lemon of the lot. That would stink.

  • Best Car Ive driven - 2006 Ford Fusion

This car is a car that has some pretty good pick up. The horsepower is stronger then what is shown. The V-6 Fusion has a total of 221 hp and 205 torque. But when I put my car on a dyno it topped out at 243 hp and 206 torque. Eveyrthing is strong so these car have a amazaing rating. The handling is really good. You can take sharp turns and still be holding a constant speed.

  • Great Car for the Money - 2006 Ford Fusion
    By -

I just bought this car and it is great. Mileage and comfort were my two main driving factors for a new car. This car gives a great value proposition. I test drove the Malibu, Impala, 300 and Charger and still chose the Fusion. The Charger/300 was a close second but was $4,000 more for basically the same features. The pop up storage on the dash is cool. I didnt need the sunroof but basically got it throw in after I completed the deal with the dealership.
