Couldnt be happier at 75000+ miles... - 2007 Ford Freestyle
By bcb_wa - February 5 - 2:27 pmBought my 2007 SEL AWD in 2008 with 13K miles on it. It was a rental in Alaska before I bought it in the state of Washington. Never a mechanical problem. Engine, CVT and AWD still runs like a champ. Solid as a rock with only a couple very minor trim rattles over rough pavement. Leather has held up well. Sad to see this die (TaurusX ended production in 2010), but its been reborn in the new 2011 Explorer. Same platform, similar interior, just more aggressive looks. Highly recommend getting one if youre in the market for similar vehicle. As for getting one of these used - I would heartily recommend one. TMV under 9K as of Feb 2012 - excellent value and comfort for a family hauler.

Love this car!! - 2007 Ford Freestyle
By jessiccamiller - June 21 - 10:56 amI bought my 2007 Freestyle about a week ago with 79,000 miles. So far it is an amazing vehicle. It runs great, I have had no issues with surging and it has really good pick up. I know it has only been a week, but I am completely satisfied. It has tons of room for my kids and two large dogs. I absolutely love it!!

07 Review Good buy - 2007 Ford Freestyle
By styledriver - January 10 - 1:17 pmWanted minivan size without looks or cost. Find this while shopping. It gets better gas millage than a SUV, 18 when used in-town 100%. If you want a minivan/SUV with all the pluss get this!

Great vehicle - 2007 Ford Freestyle
By tool22p - June 22 - 3:44 amPurchased this vehicle a week ago and it is great. There is nothing to complain about so far, rides and corners great. The engine is then same engine as our 2004 6 cylinder ford mustang had and sounds and acts exactly the same. Enjoy the beefy sound while accelerating. Was told by a Volvo tech that the chassis was the same as the Volvo chassis,as Volvo is owned by Ford this is not a surprise, awesome vehicle..

Awesome - 2007 Ford Freestyle
By mrs price - April 20 - 6:02 pmI bought this car used this year and I am in love with it. I love the style and the comfort. I would say this is the best car Ive owned. Talk about space. Very roomy for me and the kids and my daycare. I wouldnt trade trade this care for any other crossover in its class. I am so satisfied and I guess I am a Ford girl again. Go Ford!

Good Buy - 2007 Ford Freestyle
By Jeff - March 2 - 12:10 pmBought new. Three years later still very happy with the car. Checking the tires and breaks at each oil change as this appears to be the most common complaint. High teens, low twenties in the ciy and high twenties on the HWY. This is great mileage for such a roomy vehicle. Would highly recommend. Ford Brass/Marketing missed the boat on this one.

Loving the Freestyle - 2007 Ford Freestyle
By Stacey - December 17 - 11:00 pmI bought this car almost 1 1/2 years ago, and I still adore it! I commuted to work in it for an entire year and I averaged about 26mpg, which is much better than I had expected. This car is nice for traveling across the country, and it drives very well in the mountains here in Colorado! Since Ive owned my Freestyle, Ive been able to avoid two near-misses with reckless drivers, and I believe thats because even though its a small SUV/large wagon, it handles like a car. I still get giddy when I see it in a parking lot with other cars, its so beautiful! In the year and a half the Freestyle has been mine, Ive only had to replace my rear brakes.

Good Car - 2007 Ford Freestyle
By JC - December 1 - 10:03 pmPurchased vehicle with 7.5K, now have near 28K. No issues except windshield washer motor went bad (warranty fix). Good MPG 21 city 26-30 Hwy(60to75mph). Wife says seats and suspension over bumps could be softer. Hwy ride is great! Handles well in mountains. Really like the 3 seats, back rows fold flat. Lots of neat features. Storage in dash is nice. A little noisy on initial acceleration.

Great car - 2007 Ford Freestyle
By merlin07 - November 25 - 2:53 pmIve been wanting one of these since I first saw it and traded in a 1996 Plymouth Breeze to get it. Love the car, excellent comfort, great in the winter, has heated seats!!! Even a year later I still grin like an idiot, yes I know its a mommy wagon (and me with no kids) but I just think this is the best car Ive ever had.
