Overview & Reviews
New standard features on the 2007 Ford F-150 include an MP3 auxiliary input jack (on all trims except the base XL) and a tire-pressure monitoring system. Plus, the front seats in all F-150s have additional lateral bolstering this year. On the options list you'll find Sirius satellite radio, a navigation system and the FX2 Sport Package, which provides monochromatic paint, special 18-inch alloy wheels and a black/red interior. Lariat buyers can opt for power-folding mirrors with an auto-dimming feature on the driver side. The Harley-Davidson Package is now available on both two- and four-wheel-drive F-150 SuperCrews, but can no longer be added to SuperCabs. On the engine side, the 4.6-liter V8 picks up 17 additional horsepower for 248 total, while the 5.4-liter V8 is now E85-capable. Ford has extended powertrain warranty coverage to five years/60,000 miles.

Bad Ford Design - 2007 Ford F-150
By spedie - August 9 - 4:08 pmI bought this truck used in May 2013 with 95K on it, one previous owner. Truck now has 100,3xx on it. I took it to the dealers for the 2 part spark plug problem of which 3 of the 8 broke off. Cost: $674. Then shortly after was pulling away from a stop light. The center bearing went. Found out shortly that truck has "disposable drive shaft" and center bearing cannot be replaced. Cost: $1400. Picked up truck from that repair, only to find out that left front wheel bearing is now bad. Estimated cost will be over $400 IF the rotor is not damaged. I have had truck only 15 months, drove only 5K miles with it. Good maintenance records from 1st owner. BAD truck with a bad design. Dont buy one.

May be dangerous - 2007 Ford F-150
By nomorefords43 - June 16 - 9:22 pmOverall, I am not happy with my purchase. I bought my 2007 Lariat new in 2007. My CDs all got stuck in the 6 Cd changer and had to replace the stereo and then it did it shortly after. I use my Ipod and dont use the CD at all. Then the accelerater got stuck and lucky i was just taking off, i breaked and it RPMs reved up that i turned it off. Started and it was fine. When i took it in they said maybe i was accelerating at the same time i breaked. So i let it go but it happened again and now i am scared that it will happen when im at a speed of 100km. Replace breakpads twice, rotars, fuel pump, and now it is losing power, cuts out and shakes so taking it in again. All of this under 120,000km.

Worst Ever - 2007 Ford F-150
By Peter - January 7 - 1:04 amThis is my 4th F150 Lariat since 2000 and probably the worst (Lariat Chrome edition). Ive had it for 2 years now and its been in and out of the shop on many occasions for engine bogginess (5.4L), transmission problems (transmission has now been rebuilt), brake problems (2 brake jobs already), backup sensor problems (replaced 2 so far). My lease expires in less than a year. Thank God! Ive had enough. I dont think I will be leasing another Ford truck again.

Recall Time For Ford Again - 2007 Ford F-150
By joe - December 19 - 6:52 pmI have a 2007 ford f150 Stx 4.6L. At idle it shakes so bad I had to put a pillow behind my back. Several times it even stalled. Ford said all these trucks do this. It is a natural characteristic of the truck to run rough. I say it is time to recall and fix the design flaw these trucks have.

Gives me the Shakes - 2007 Ford F-150
By Wantmychevyback - October 3 - 4:08 pmNice truck but dealer told me I made a mistake buying 5.4 motor. Rough idle and vibration at approx 1750 rpm is normal for this truck according to my Ford Dealer. Hard to sit at a light and feel the seat vibrating due to the normally running 5.4 l motor at idle. Traded a great running chevrolet at 127000 miles that idled smoother. If Ford cannot resolve this (non- existent according to the dealer) problem...I will take a bath and go back to a chevrolet...never to buy a ford again
