A new King Ranch SuperCab arrives for 2002, joining the SuperCrew version near the top of the F-150 food chain. All King Ranch trucks get lighted visor mirrors with a HomeLink universal transmitter and a Travel Note recording device, while KR SuperCrews have automatic climate control and an available second-row bench seat that replaces the standard rear captain's chairs. Get the Harley-Davidson edition for a supercharged 5.4-liter Triton V-8 engine that adds 80 horsepower and new styling cues in the form of flame pin striping and chrome accessories, a new upper chrome billet grille, clear-lens headlamps and clear-lens parking lamps embossed with the label and rivets surrounding the center cap of the 20-inch wheels. The lower-line F-150 XL gets standard air conditioning, and its 4.2-liter V6 receives a ULEV rating. An FX4 off-road equipment package can be added to XLT or Lariat 4WD models and includes upgrades like Rancho shocks, skid plates, special wheels and unique trim. Carryover improvements from late 2001 include seat-mounted seatbelts on SuperCabs, child seat-tether anchors and rear head restraints on SuperCrew models. Also added late in 2001 were optional heated front seats (XLT and Lariat), a power sunroof (XLT and Lariat SuperCab and Crew) and a rear-seat entertainment system (XLT and Lariat SuperCrew).

By tdehart - July 22 - 2:00 amWe actually bought our supercrew June of 2000. We will be buying another supercrew. Our kids like to take the truck more than our Ford Taurus, they say its more comfortable (meaning the back seat).

Super Crew FX4 - 2002 Ford F-150
By bowhuntwi - February 16 - 5:56 amI have a little over 7000 miles on my Super Crew with no vists to the dealer except for regular maintenance. Its a pleasure to drive in town and on the highway. Due to the step in height, I would recommend some sort of running board.

Does it all with STYLE and SPEED - 2002 Ford F-150
By Island Hopper - February 15 - 10:00 amExcellent do-it-all vehicle. It is faster than literally 99% of the cars on the road which is really pretty fun. It is also very cool looking,especially the 20" chrome wheels and all black interior, and it is LOADED. I have every available option, of which there are only 5, heated seats, sunroof, CD changer, bed extender and sliding rear window. It comes with everything else already, Auto Climate, autor dim mirror etc etc. It is a great way to transport 4 full grown adults in absolute comfort and sporty style, and still go fast, and be able to use it for Home Depot runs or hauling toys as well.

4x4 offroad Chevy Killer - 2002 Ford F-150

Have had a few quality issues with the 4x4 transfer case, but Ford has been very reasonable about replacement and customer satisfaction. If I were to buy another I would get the super crew.

Lightnings Rock - 2002 Ford F-150
By TylerS - December 9 - 10:00 amI love my Lightning. I recommened anybody even vaguely considering one to go out and drive one. There is not another vehicle that is any sort of comparison to the driving fun of this vehicle. I would not trade my truck for anything, except for maybe a Porche or or somthing like that. There is nothing else on the road that does what these do, and there is so much customization that can be done. Ford definitely got this one right.

The Best Ive Ever Had - 2002 Ford F-150

I have owned many trucks, including other Fords and different brands, and my feelings are that Ford has always given me a better sense of trust and solidarity than any other manufacturer. I am pleased with this truck. My previous trucks have always been big V8s and with this truck only having the 4.2L V6, I had a low level of concern that it would prove to be kind of weak, however it has never disappointed me. A solid truck thats eager go everyday. This one and I may spend many happy years together.

By - February 2 - 10:00 amI have owned many vehicles in my life. I was a die hard GM person till I experienced my Lightning I prefer to drive it more than any thing out there. Have traveled coast to coast twice on vacation. Cant say enough good about it.
