True Blue Red Van - 1996 Ford Aerostar
By GGARR - December 2 - 2:00 amThe Aerostar van has been extremly reliable. Other than oil changes and tires I did nothing to it for the first 100k miles. It has never left me stranded. Normal wear of brakes, and wipers, and a battery after 100k.

By yury - October 12 - 2:00 amThis is a 2 in 1 car, its a very good car for people who need a vehecle for a large family, bacause its got 3 rows of seats, for 8 adults, and its also good for work, such as making deliveries, etc., since the sits easily come off, and becomes a full size van.

Perfect Colorado Family Car - 1995 Ford Aerostar
By wwadams - August 21 - 2:00 amWe haul everything everywhere with this van. Despite warnings about potentially faulty automatic transmissions, weve not had ANY mechanical system problems. We bought the Aerostar because we wanted 4WD and we liked the fact that its built on a truck, not car, chassis. When pulling our 22 sailboat or horse trailer (we only pull one horse, since two is on the hairy edge of this 6 cyl engines capability), sometimes the AC cuts off going up a hill. But at 5-9,000 feet altitude, we think thats acceptable. With a carload of kids, I like the dependabiity and knowledge that my Aerostar will get me safely and predictably to my destination.

gave up my aerostar for a suburban - 1995 Ford Aerostar

So we bought a suburban, had it one month and it broke down. should have kept the aerostar. bought it with 105,000 miles and only changed the belts and a starter motor . I never even got an oil change,

Greatest Van - 1995 Ford Aerostar
By dkmart - July 20 - 2:00 amWe purhased this vehicle with 75000 miles it now has 161000 miles on it. I am very pleased with this van. I have replaced cv joints on both axles,brakes,and tires. Motor runs great uses no oil . This is my 2nd Aerostar the first one was totalled out about a moth after we bought it. We were hit broad side at 50 mph. van was pushed 3 lanes accross the road we walked away without a scrath.

Great van - 1994 Ford Aerostar
By Josh Carter - June 24 - 2:00 amI got this van new at the age of 16. This van has endured 8 years of young/teenage driving hell. So far the only thing starting to go is the trans. It has held up real well, and probably has another 100,000 to go. I does feel a lot more top heavy than it is. It is also very hard to drive in high winds, but it is the tallest mini- van around. And it is the most comfortable inside since the seats are higher than most.

By apollo - June 7 - 2:00 amIts a great vehicle for hauling...used it in my furniture business. The interior is giant! Lots of head room! I bought it with 60k on it, and put another 100k on it. Really fun to drive,so roomy great if youre a tall person. Only problems-I now have a tick in engine!? Very hard to replace oil filter yourself. Lots of power though in 4.0 liter....As far as other problems,just normal things.

Not bad, but....... - 1995 Ford Aerostar
By Jonin Ray - March 27 - 2:00 amI have to dmit that after going though one transmission, 3 starters, one water pump, one air conditioner, and two side door latches...it has come time for me to part with the Aerostar and since they dont make it anymore and I cant find another (would by one if it was a 97), I am going to switch to a Chevy Astro or GMC Safari. Too bad they stopped making it and went to the Windstar...they Safari/Astro would have good competition.
