This Year's Model Updates:

The Sebring's former trim designations have been replaced with base, Touring and Limited while GTC trim carries over unchanged. Sedan and convertible models receive a restyled front fascia and new wheels, while the coupe gets new dash, door and instrument panel trim. Low-speed traction control now comes on all models equipped with antilock brakes.

Pros:
  • Spacious interiors, solid performance, long list of standard features.
Cons:
  • Lacks refinement, build quality and resale value not comparable to class leaders.

  • New "family car" - 2004 Chrysler Sebring

I bought this as a fun car. We have 3 small children and my wife and I wanted a "date" car. I enjoy driving it. It is quiet with the top up and the mileage is good for a V6. The car is not a sports car but it is very responsive and quick. We look forward to taking it on many weekend getaways when we can convince someone to watch or kids.

I love the look and the styling and the room. do NOT like the way seats have to move in order to let a passenger sit in the back seat. Terrible feul economy-- 15.4 mpg. I totaled my 2004 Sebring conv. in an accident several weeks ago and I still plan on buying another one, just like it

I purchased a new limited. I was impressed by the gas millage. I also purchased the opitonal wind screen, it made a big difference. I would purchase another.

  • Second Sebring Convertible - 2004 Chrysler Sebring

This is my second Sebring Convertible--I had a 1996 JXI. My 96 had absolutely no problems--zero--in 97,000 miles. My 2004 Limited has 3200 miles on it so far, and no problems have been noted with it either. Unfortunately, Chrysler cheapened the interior. The heater/ac controls look like they were lifted from a Soviet tractor, and the top-of-the-line radio has no combination cassette/CD feature like the old one. The power outlet is also crude, having no cover (even my Dodge truck has this), just a black rubber stopper. The carpet no longer has vinyl heel pads.

  • Value - 2004 Chrysler Sebring

A lot of car for under $16,000. AND GOOD ON GAS.

  • LXI Rating - 2004 Chrysler Sebring

Good Feel on road at multiple speeds. Better handling than T-Bird. Like suspension.

  • loven it - 2004 Chrysler Sebring

Very fast for a 4 door. Great on fuel if you keep your foot out of the pedal. price to fun ratio is high as well.

  • Excellent Car/Poor Assembly - 2004 Chrysler Sebring
    By -

While a fun car, Chrysler suffers from assembly issues. My car will be going back for an engine oil leak, window misalignments, and a door gasket that has come loose, all covered under warranty, of course.
