This Year's Model Updates:

The Sebring's former trim designations have been replaced with base, Touring and Limited while GTC trim carries over unchanged. Sedan and convertible models receive a restyled front fascia and new wheels, while the coupe gets new dash, door and instrument panel trim. Low-speed traction control now comes on all models equipped with antilock brakes.

Pros:
  • Spacious interiors, solid performance, long list of standard features.
Cons:
  • Lacks refinement, build quality and resale value not comparable to class leaders.

About the only thing lacking with this car is the to soft ride when encountering bumps. Good power. Fair gas mileage, biggest back set in its class. Overall very nice looking car.

Ive had my car for two years now. Bought it new in April 2004. It has been a really great little car. I have not had a single problem...no squeaks, no rattles, no vibrations. Not a single mechanical problem or flaw in two years and 20,000 miles. The graphite metallic paint is still beautiful after 2 years and the 2.7 V-6 has all the power & acceleration I need. This is a quality midsize sedan that can compete with any comparable Japanese or European car. Go Daimler Chrysler!

Researched the Touring convertibles. Test-drove several, looking for one that showed excellent engine, transmission, brake, driving performance. Finally found a dealership trade-in 1-owner with 1.5 years warranty left. Amazing. Great V6 power, great maneuvering, Great steering, quality on manufacturing excellent, not what Ive been used to reading about. Been driving around in 40 deg temps with top down and heat on, and getting off big-time. Everyone I take for a drive has felt the same. I now understand those who say when youve gone convertible, you never go back to a standard car. Black body, black top, black interior, just visually tantalizing, folks. The 10s on-demand roof is the kicker

  • Ton of miles...Ton of Fun - 2004 Chrysler Sebring

Im researching cars for my wife and came across this site and decided to leave a review of what so far has been a mostly positive experience with my GTC convertible. It will be two years old next month and Im about to hit 70,000 miles! Luckily (knocking on wood) I have not had any mechanical problems to date. All the problems have been with the body. Water has penetrated my right side headlight and right side tail light, some paint chips, rearviewmirror defrost stopped working, windows rattle on passenger side when you hit bumps and ac adapter shorted out. All in all, a positive review from a happy chrysler driver minus the nagging "cosmetic" issues.

Really like the car .We have several unresolved issues. The A/C leaks on the passenger side while driving. This causes the floorboard to get soaking wet.The lock on the trunk fell apart. I am waiting on my third appointment. If this doe not fix I will start my lemon law protection. The car handles nicely at high speeds. I just returned from a 1,700 mile trip and the car was adequate other than th water on the floor which I placed a roll of paper towels to soak up every few hours.

for a4-cylinder, it has a lot of get up and go. Very fun to drive, a lot of leg room also. Nice stereo system, and it drives like a dream.

I am not so sure about the build quality of Chrysler/Dodge vehicles. This is a nice car with nice touches, but the transmission is very querky. The first week I had it it started leaking oil all over my driveway. Thats the only problem I have come in contact with so far.

The car is put together nicely. fit and finish wise. Easy to function. Top is very fast up or down. I was surprised for a Chrysler. You dont feel like your in a cheap car. If you consider 31k cheap. Smooth and stable. Red inferno is spectacular color when polished. I have owned about 24 cars and I am 44 years old. I put right there in the top 10

we like the overall style and admiring glances...gold and black colors good combo...good tires and wheel style...storage pockets are good...needs greater range in steering wheel tilt...no place to put trash bag...electric window buttons on drivers door should be positioned a little further forward... NICE CAR! but not the dealer, so for any servicing we will go to the competition.
