Overview & Reviews
A midlevel Touring model is added to the Pacifica lineup, and the base model loses some of its standard equipment to accommodate a new lower price. Rear parking assist is now optional.
- Exceptional comfort for four, drives more like a sedan than a minivan, top-notch safety scores, upscale interior design.
- Average room for six, not as family-friendly as most minivans, spotty reliability on early models.

We love it - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica
By D Mays - May 11 - 8:53 pmWe have 2 children, one of which is at the age where she wants to have friends along. We needed a vehicle that could comfortably hold 6 people, yet we didnt want a mini-van. This is the ideal vehicle for this!

Great alternative to SUV - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica
By Sherry - December 2 - 2:26 pmSlightly underpowered, but overall a very comfortable riding vehicle the integrated Video system fabulous except when screen is down you have no rear view, but quality sound! Seating for 6 is nice. Very roomy 3rd row. Very hard to back up, large blind spots in back corners. But that is the only downfall of the vehicle. Vehicle appears to be more expensive than it is. We not some instability in cornering but over all we really are happy with it.

MY SEATBLETS STINK!!!!!! - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica
By Lecia Toothman - August 19 - 10:00 amI am in a love/hate relationship with my new car. I have had it less than a month, the bells and whistles are terrific. It doesnt have very much pick-up when you need it. But the biggest problem is with the front seats seat belts. There is such a terrible odor that we have to wrap the seat belts with towels just to drive the car. It leaves the foul smell on our clothes. The dealership has been "working" on this for two weeks now. STILL WAITING... P-U!!!!!!!

Best car for the dollar in its class. - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica
By Jacob S. - July 10 - 10:40 amDespite the name I love my 2005 Pacifica and without a doubt its more car for the money then anything out there. Just do a Edmunds vehicle comparision and you will know what I mean when looking at 40K SUV/Crossover vehicles such as the RX 330, Murano, SRX and X3. Most of all the Pacifica offers in my opinion the most unique car approach to date as far as being truely a oversized wagon that maintains its sedan like poise, while emphasizing the "U" in both utility and luxury with its room for 6, power lift gate, wood and leather shifter, DVD player, 400 watt stereo, reverse park, 4 heated seats, Blue Tooth, HID lights and cargo capacity. The Pacifica is truely a 6 seater wagon with out equal.

Best chrysler for the money - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica
By CFHAIR - June 29 - 4:26 pmIve had my PAC5,since 4/2004. The very first one off the truck. It handles better than any vehicle Ive ever owned,Chevys, Fords, Nissans Chryslers. So far hardly any exterior, or mechanical problems, at 8,000 miles. Very happy with it so far.

Contented owner - with issues - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica
By Judi Becker - June 5 - 1:43 pmThis vehicle is gorgeous! However, there are blind spots I cannot overcome no matter how long I drive it. Ive literally gotten out of my car to see whats behind it before backing out of a tight space. There are super creature comforts, but there is no place for a trash container. I purchased this to replace a Suburban, hoping to upgrade my fuel economy. Have yet to exceed 15 mpg. That is a disappointment. Im a careful driver and dont hot-rod. Am unclear why the discrepancy of mileage vs. that stated on the window sticker.

Great car! - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica
By Beth - April 20 - 6:30 amMy husband and I wanted a vehicle that was great in any terrain and weather. After much debate, we chose this car and we have never been happier. This is a fun car and definitely a great family car. Well worth the money.

new Pacifica - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica
By pacifica 2005 - April 13 - 10:00 ampiked up my 2005 Pacifica on July 1 checked over the car and found it to be in excellent condition, fit finish ect was very good was very inpressed with the quaility of the exterior finish, the interior was good but I found that the materials were somewhat cheap looking for a ar of this price range. The engine could use more power still too early to tell what kind of fuel mileage but it seems to be fairly good. Outside mirrors should be larger and there are no conoring lights,HID lights could not be ordered for 2005,I was also not impressed with the upgraded audio system, only problem that I found was a loose button on the radio.

Nice car - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica
By Bernadette B - March 2 - 7:13 amI didnt want a mini. This is the next best thing. Can still carry 6 if I need to. I enjoy driving it and like the way it looks, sort of like the Mercedes they just came out with, but there are a few issues that should have been addressed with the 2005 model.

Guidance System - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica
By HankNJ1954 - January 17 - 8:06 amLove the car, but did not get it with the map built into the dash, so they installed another model. It opens up in front of the heat/air controls so that the sensor doesnt see the people, it sees the hot back of the display and turns off the heat. Would not do that again, but otherwise love it - took it on a 2700 mile spin last week - fun car. Hank
