The Malibu gets little in the way of upgrades for 2003. There are two new colors to choose from -- Summit White and Medium Gray Metallic -- and a new seat fabric on LS models. ABS brakes are now optional on base models, but remain standard on the LS.

• Comfortable and roomy interior, low price, ample feature content.

• Poor expected resale value, not as refined as top-selling Japanese family sedans.

  I had never even considered a Malibu until my wife and I bought one. Im 64" and the Malibu was comfortable even on extended trips. Its no sports car, but the v-6 has plenty of power. Good handling, and it was rock solid on snow and ice. It also has excellent fuel economy for its size. I would also say its very safe, I walked away from a 70mph crash, uninjured.

  I purchased this car as a replacement for my everyday car. I was surprised by its ride and features. It has a great trunk and spacious seating. I feel comfortable and secure at highway speeds. I think it speaks well for Detroit that they can get some things right for a change.

  When my lease for my 2000 Impala was up, I went back to my Chevrolet dealership. Being 63" and nearly 300 pounds, I was a bit apprehensive about going to a smaller vehicle. I was amazed how comfortable the Malabu was. I just drove from Florida to New York and was comfortable the entire trip. Kudos to Chevrolet !!

  The Malibu is easy to handle. The car is very quite while driving. I love the LS with all the trimmings and extras at a great price.

  This is our second Malibu and I love the car. Both of them had initial small things break, like the power window, a lock etc. The dealer fixed at no charge.

  this car cuts corners at 40mph perfectly, not that i do that all the time...the ride is very smooth. The audio is great. Long travel trips are perfect in this car!

  My experience with my Malibu LS V6 has been wonderful. It is fun to drive and also gives our family a sporty look without the expensive price tag. My fifteen year old is looking forward to learning to drive in our Malibu.
