Overview & Reviews
The Chevrolet Equinox has been completely redesigned for 2010. It has sleek new styling inside and out, a more fuel-efficient engine lineup and a lower price.
- Upscale look inside and out, quiet cabin, generous storage bins, roomy back seat, fuel-efficient four-cylinder, available high-tech features.
- Not quite as much cargo space as chief rivals, some controls difficult to reach, lifeless steering.

Nice Highway Vehicle - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By ragtop262 - January 3 - 6:50 amThe Nox is an excellent highway vehicle. Smooth yet taut ride, handles well for a crossover. Im saving 30% on gas vs my old Mitsubishi Endeavor. However, big blind spots and tiny mirrors really limit side and rear vision. Ive heard concerns about the power of the 4 cyl engine, but Ive found it to be adequate. The 6 speed transmission works well to keep the engine in its power band, but it does take a while to get used to 6500 RPM shifts when you have your foot in it. For my shape, the drivers seat is just average for comfort (I prefer a flat seat over the heavily bolstered ones in the Nox). But I really like the rest of the interior (Im a fan of the blue interior lighting)

Great vehicle, cant get past a few item - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By rysamem - July 15 - 4:26 amOverall I like the vehicle. Drives nice, great mileage, many features. Bluetooth, OnStar, backup camera, USB make traveling much more enjoyable. Only 600 miles but I average about 29 on the highway.

FIRST GM CAR IN 40+ YEARS - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By MIKE & NANCY - July 21 - 3:36 amWe bought the Equinox in a hurry under the "clunker" deadline with limited available info (except it was much better than previous model). I was impressed with all the high tech features mostly aimed at improving mileage and safety) with a price in the lower end of the 20s. my wife was impressed the its eerie quietness. Seating is exceptionally commodious, comfortable and versatile. Id say better value than the Japanese competition, Lets see if GM reliability and service is improved along with the product design.
