4th vettes a charm - 2004 Chevrolet Corvette
By Big Steff - January 10 - 6:28 pmThis is my 4th vette (2 C4s, 2nd C5). Almost bought 06 C6 without driving then found it was too tight (me 6"3). Sold 99 FRC to get this one. FRC was base model with Z51, 04 fully loaded!! Car is solid as a rock. Maybe get a C7 if more interior space (or I shrink). Best of the 4 Ive owned !!!

My 4th Vette - 2004 Chevrolet Corvette
By RMEFLYR - December 27 - 10:25 pmBest Corvette I have owned yet. This is my 4th vette and my first new purchase. The car performs better than many other muscle cars Ive owned. Acceleration and braking are superior. None of the rattles and electrical problems I had with my 72, 93 or 96. Amazing gas mileage (28 MPG)on road trips with an average speed of 75 mph. I plan to keep this car forever.

Traded Down to a 2004 for Comfort - 2004 Chevrolet Corvette
By Joe Anastasio - October 25 - 11:57 pmSince July 1997 I have owned 13 C5 Corvettes (all new) and 1 C6 (2007 new). Problem was I bought the C6 Corvette site unseen (never sat in one). Im 63" and 280lbs and my knees were against the dash. The 3" they took away from it did make a difference. I was lucky though. Found a dealer willing to swap me my 2007 for a 2004 plus a fair amount of money. Im a happy camper again. Plenty of comfort and all the fun of driving a Corvette. I really dont miss any of the new features in the C6 that I had for 3 months. I never used the Nav system. Be sure to "test drive" your new car BEFORE purchasing. I was lucky. Didnt lose a lot of money for my mistake.

04 ZO6 - 2004 Chevrolet Corvette
By ensbdon - October 25 - 8:41 amI drive my ZO6 every day, and I really enjoy the experience. I have had a couple of problems (window motor replaced and leak in the brake system), but luckily it still was under warranty. The handling and performance are unmatched for price and the looks, in my opinion, are better than the C6 version. Overall, I would say its a great value for the price, and depreciation is slow!

MY 2003 VETTE - 2004 Chevrolet Corvette
By PAUL H - October 14 - 2:00 amI HAVE NEVER HAD A CAR THAT IS MORE FUN TO DRIVE. ON A TRIP TO FLORIDA I WAS ABLE TO ACHIEVE 20.9 MILES PER GALLON. AT 80 MILES PER HOUR THE ENGINE WAS TURNING ABOUT 2000 RPMS. GREAT CAR.

Best ever - 2004 Chevrolet Corvette
By MikeChip - August 28 - 10:00 amBought a new 04 Corvette in July. Have over 5,000 trouble free miles on it. Insurance is cheaper than on the 02 Mustang GT that I traded. Best vehicle I have ever owned, and the most fun to drive. Thanks GM for making a quality USA built machine.

Disappointed - 2004 Chevrolet Corvette
By Un-impressed - August 27 - 2:00 amMy wife and I finally were able to buy that corvette we always wanted.....what a mistake....I should have bought a 60s model if I knew it would constantly have to be worked on. The biggest problem to date are the window seals; they keep falling off. Its an ok car, but for nearly 50K I guess I expected more quality and performance. My 55 Chevy with a backyard 327 can smoke it, and it cost a whole lot less!

2004 Corvette - 2004 Chevrolet Corvette
By Suzanna - July 21 - 2:00 amThese are the funnest cars to drive, bar none! This is the 3rd Ive owned and they only get better with each year. I think they could offer higher horsepower... though Im not complaining much. Handling is what a Corvette is all about - unmatched.
