Just about a year - 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
By Pete Morano - December 24 - 9:10 pmIve had my Colorado just about a year and it has been EXCELLENT! The truck went back to the dealer for a loose electrical connector to the emissions system and hasnt been back other than oil changes and a tire rotation. This truck is still very impressive. There are no squeaks or rattles, with over 20K on the clock. The I5 performs nicely. Its not a tire burner, but there is plenty of oomph when needed It pulls my horse trailer with no problems and performs predictably with a full load in the bed. Handling is excellent, as it is better than a few cars I have owned. My Orange Sunburst Chevy still turns heads and looks great. Id still pick it over a 2005 Toyota or Nissan.

By CRUZIN BILL - December 22 - 10:06 pmI have the Z-85 extended cab.It is a great truck. The I-5 cyclinder 220 hp is really gutsy. If your looking for a mid size truck, this is the one for you.As you can see i love everything about this truck. The S-10 is no match for this one. This is a real cruiser.Check out my ratings.

2004 Colorado Z71 Fun - 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
By Wieland - December 18 - 10:32 amA fun small truck, with plenty of get up and go with the 5 cyl engine. Tows a 2000 lb boat with ease! The drivers seat feels a little off center, especially with a little back support cranked in. Everything easily within drivers reach. A real nice thing to have would be radio controls on the steering wheel! Pushing 20 MPG on the highway at 60MPH, dropping steadily as speed increases. The dash panel cover just looks cheap.

Finally! - 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
By Skkoner - November 19 - 2:00 amI used to be an S-10 owners, but went Ford/Mazda for 10 years. lots of interior head and leg room. I can really notice the 220 ponies, but the torque is a little lower than my 4.0L Mazda. I wont be pushing the truck to its limits so this is entirely acceptable. four wheel drive engages very smooth and quietly, and the General tires on it perform excellent in the snow. The engine is virtually silent, and has plenty of power for my uses. An occasional load of dirt or lumber, or towing walleye boat. Overall this truck is a perfect fit for my needs with pleanty of power and more than adequate torque.

My view on the Colorado - 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
By DougD74 - October 30 - 2:00 amThis is a great truck to drive. It is comfortable and rides like an SUV. This truck is a nice in between sized model. It is bigger then old S-10 style but smaller then the 1500 series. The 3.5 5 cylinder motor is well matched to this truck. It offers great power as well as good fuel economy.

Z71 4WD LS 5 cyl auto - 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
By jeffk - October 19 - 2:00 amI took my truck from Seattle to So. Cali. to visit family. Yes I had to cross the mountains which according to the gotta have V6 / V8s fans said the Colorado was very poor on power. I was more than very pleased to find this little 5 cyl was truely much more powerful then I thought. The gas mileage was also very good on this long trip averaging for the total trip mid 22 MPG. Overall comfort was quite nice considering I was driving a 4WD truck. The interior is just about the same as the rest of the trucks out there, not very exciting. Then for a few dollars I can have the interior trim peices painted to brighten things up.
