The BMW 3 Series coupe returns for 2007 with a twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine and a sleek new body that puts more aesthetic distance between it and the sedan. Rated for 300 horsepower, that twin-turbo engine also finds its way to the 2007 BMW 3 Series sedan line, where the 330i becomes the 335i but still displaces an even 3.0 liters. Now rated for 230 hp, base 3 Series coupes, sedans and wagons are renamed 328i and, when equipped with all-wheel drive, 328xi. Note that the coupe and wagon can be had in both rear-drive and AWD configurations this year. Equipment changes include a lengthened four-year subscription to BMW Assist telematics on cars with the Premium Package and real-time traffic updates on models with the navigation system. Midway through the model year, BMW introduces a redesigned 3 Series convertible with a retractable hardtop, and an all-wheel-drive 335xi sedan.

Perfect for Michigan - 2007 BMW 3-Series
By Joe - May 2 - 7:23 amMy 328xi has the premium, sport, and cold weather packages, and it is also a manual. Its a great car. The run flat tires are hard for Michigan roads, but Ive had no problems otherwise. The accelerator pedal (electronic, I suspect) is a bit dead, but the rest of the controls are great. There is no on-the-road performance hit compared to the sedan or coupe. I considered and test drove them all.

Love This Car - 2007 BMW 3-Series

The only flaws are that the shifter has a slightly long throw (but that can be easily replaced aftermarket), the seat belt pusher is flimsy and weak, and the iDrive is just kind of annoying, but nothing that isnt worth not getting the car. Vishnus XEDE is also a very welcomed mod, opens up a lot of the cars true power.

Perfect for me - 2007 BMW 3-Series
By Dan - March 28 - 1:30 amYou will really love this car if youre interested in a car that you want to enjoy driving. I like to drive, even if its just to the local grocery store or just to work during the week. I have the 335 with the manual transmission and I just love every minute of it. Any 3 series will give you all the driving enjoyment youll need or at least an understanding of why BMW is so special. The twin turbo 335 in addition to the manual transmission will just add to that experience. The aftermarket is also full of many performance mods that can easily make this car have between 350 to 400 HP or more. The 300 HP stock rating is definitely under-rated to begin with, so dont compare numbers.

Awesome Experience for a Price - 2007 BMW 3-Series
By Lon - March 19 - 5:13 pmThis car has it all. Keyless entry with convenient access, push-button start, twin-turbo! One feels the luxury immediately when you sit in the vehicle for the first time. I quickly noted the seats were supportive, the interior/exterior well designed and myriad numbers of buttons that have some important function strategically placed. The next things one notes are twin turbos that propel one from 0 to 60 in around 5 sec. Power is a necessity for me. This car is like owning a 2 year old 5 series in terms of luxury and beauty! I will have to admit some degree of turbo lag. The handling is fantastic to be a real wheel drive. Brakes are stellar.

Love it, love it, love it - 2007 BMW 3-Series
By Sharon - March 3 - 12:30 amJust picked up my 328xi a few days ago, and I look for any excuse to run errands so I can get behind the wheel. I added the sport package, cold weather package, and the iPod adapter, and am pleased with all of my selections. This car handles like a dream - it loves to hug the curves and go fast. Very tight and responsive, and the 6 spd manual is silky-smooth. Fit and finish are great. The metallic paint is flawless.

Run Flat Tires are No Good - 2007 BMW 3-Series
By beverly5534 - February 26 - 2:13 pmI love my new 328i wagon. Plenty of room for two little dog crates even with the back seat up. Get decent MPG, certainly better than my x5 got. Handles wonderfully, rides GREAT, iDrive is fun, GPS is amazing, and I get lots of compliments on the color combo (barbaro red with tan interior). The thing I hate are the run-flat tires! I have my second flat in the 4 months I own the car. Not the cars fault, but I now need to take hours to drive to the dealer, wait for them to sell me another tire. I dont have time for this, not to mention the cost. I want to be able to change/fix the flat and get on with my life.

By M3 Convert... - February 1 - 2:26 pmHighlights: Liquid smooth power delivery/drive train. Handling is not too bone breaking but sporty excellence! Comfort is in spades and its roomier than all of the competition. Style is beyond compare; I like looking at it more and more every day.

Almost same performance as my lotus - 2007 BMW 3-Series
By Chris - February 1 - 11:20 amI have owned this car for 1year and 2 months. All I can say is wow. My 0-60 times are 4.8 seconds. The car handles like no other 4 door. Car handles great in snow and ice. The DTC is out of this world and doesnt let you spin out the car in the snow.
