Overview & Reviews
BMW has seen fit to give the sedans and wagons a facelift for 2002. An in-dash CD player finally makes it onto the standard features list. The center stack has been altered to accommodate the new automatic climate controls. Steptronic automanual operation has been altered so that you move the transmission lever forward for downshifts and backward for upshifts. Bi-xenon headlamps are on the options list so that both low and high beams can glow a cold blue and can be set to automatic operation. Rear side airbags are available for coupes and convertibles. Two new colors, Electric Red and Gray Green (and a Natural Brown interior leather) join the color spectrum.
- Luxurious, powerful, exceptional road manners, available all-wheel drive for sedan and wagon.
- Pricey for their market segment, limited rear-seat space and cargo capacity.

One Heck of Good Automobile - 2002 BMW 3-Series
By Road Racer - February 28 - 10:00 amThis car has simply been the best car Ive ever owned. In terms of performance, there is no sedan on the road the compares to this car. Being a motorcyle rider all my life, I enjoy to open it up on the road sometimes as well has hammer a few corners here and there. Heres my advise, if you want luxury and dont want to miss having a sports car, this is the car for you. You will not be dissapointed.

Expensive and Shoddy Build Quality - 2002 BMW 3-Series
By sbcste - February 16 - 2:00 amBoth my sister and I own a 2001 232ci and 2002 325ci respectively. Her car had a broken gas cover when delivered, after about a year the overhead liner began to fall off, the sunroof broke and the electric seat broke. When I took delivery of my car in early 2002 the a/c did not work and about six month later the doors could not be open from the inside. Where is the German quality I have read and heard so much about?

A real stunner - 2002 BMW 3-Series
By billymay - February 10 - 2:00 amI bought used 02 325Ci with 5K miles, have driven another 1K. This car lives up to the hype. Yes, there are a lot of them, guess why? I compared the BMW against the Audi A4, M- B C-class and Lexus IS. As much as I love my SLK (and kept it for the weekends!), the BMW really begs to be driven. I needed a usable back seat and comfortable highway car -- the 325Ci delivers. Im no lead foot, and the 184hp is fine. The cars wonderful in everyday driving. Im sure the M3 and 330Ci fly, but unless your last car was a Corvette you wont feel deprived. The coupe is stylish and scarcer than the sedan, so the "me too" factor isnt bad even here in southern Cal.

By deputy - January 26 - 2:00 amCar is great fun to drive. Once all the quirks are worked out ( window regulators) car will be fine. Would definetly buy another one if one came along at a great price.

My First Bimmer - 2002 BMW 3-Series
By latina&herbimmer - January 25 - 2:00 amI LOVE THIS CAR! I have been an avid SUV driver for years, until I test drove this car! My 325cI is fully loaded. The only option left to add was a coffee maker! Being in the miltary I drive around a lot on the installation. My 3 makes me wish I worked more than what I actually do! I have put more miles on it than anticipated, but the car is addictive. I will never go back to an SUV again.
