Love my A4 - 2004 Audi A4
By dld3923 - July 10 - 10:00 amI traded in a Chrysler Sebring Convertible (that I loved) and Ive never looked back. I get lots of comments on the A4s elegant looks, esp. the way it looks with the top down since it hides away in the trunk. The care is a little slow off the line, but once up to speed, I have no complaints. (I have the 1.8 turbo) I also love the service at the Audi dealership.

A4 even better than expected - 2004 Audi A4
By 204mecca - July 7 - 1:32 amMy wife wanted this car more than I did. Not only did she love the design, her bad back loved the seats. I wanted a smaller, less expensive car, something like an Acura TSX or Mazda3, By special ordering a low optioned FWD version, we kept the cost down. It has provided us with 38000 miles of trouble free, comfortable, low operating costs driving. I am sure that the other choices would not have been as comfortable for long trips nor gotten as a better MPG. I am more than glad we got the A4!

Good Choice In Entry-Level Sports Luxury - 2004 Audi A4
By bc0203 - July 4 - 2:00 amThe A4 has a substantial feel, with class-leading interior which boasts high quality materials and several thoughtful touches throughout. On the road, the A4 is a very capable highway cruiser and canyon-carver, with plenty of mid-range oomph and superb handling. There is no real "turbo lag," just a sensation of being propelled ever more rapidly that builds above 2,000 RPM. Shifts are smooth, with precise feel, though the clutch does have longish travel. Seat-of-pants communication is terrific, with a good balance between ride and handling.

Pefect balance - 2004 Audi A4
By abc323 - June 27 - 2:00 amThe interior quality is 100% top notch, everything is thick and solid. 3.0 CVT has plenty of power, esp on the drive acceleration. Not too fast off the line but definitely gets you to 100mph pretty quickly. Didnt buy the car to race, instead bought it for all the little luxury features. Ride is bumpy with the sport package on LA streets. On other hand, the lowered suspension and 17" wheels makes the car look very sleek. Bose package is good, not great. 6 disc changer is well worth it but for the extra wattage I thought the stereo would have more kick. Overall, a perfect balance between good looks, great luxury features and solid performance handling.

Great Ride - 2004 Audi A4
By ClrkBent - May 28 - 10:00 amThe A4 is overall is a great choice. You dont have a choice though, with the A4, of going Quattro, unless you do the 3.0. It just takes too much power away from the front where you need the performance. Perfect ride. I highly recommend the 1.8 CVT. Its a smooth, smooth ride. You really begin to realize how annoying gear changes are in other automatics when you get out of the Audi and into other cars.

attn: door slammers - 2004 Audi A4
By mortimer - May 16 - 2:00 amGreat car love the handling. Its fun to take a 40-50 mph turn on a city block without fishtailing. Only bad comment, you have to keep reminding friends to close the doors gently. The doors are light and close with little effort. So people tend to always slam them..followed by "sorry"
