Audi -Never again - 2004 Audi A4
By driver98 - May 15 - 10:57 amBought an A4 2004 with extended warranty. Made a maintanence checkup with Keys Audi in Los Angeles. Told me i had to wait 2 weeks. i origanlly had a bad vibration problem to seek the appt anyway. 2 weeks latwer at 103,000 mile son car they would not honor the 100,00 warranty. AND would not honor the extended warranty. I called Audi America and bitc$$! Made them honor the extended warranty. Only got an oil change and tire rotation( SCREWED) OK THEN i asked them what was the vibration,THEY TOLD ME...Motor Mounts. Wanted 2k from the dealer to fix. I went to local mech for $800. Replaced them vibration was still there. 3 days later ENGINE BLEW! Due to timing chain fail.Called them, did nothing

Buyer Beware - 2004 Audi A4
By kwiel - July 21 - 2:00 amThe car is good in the snow with the Quattro system - however, the build quality of this car makes it the worst car I have ever owned. 2 new transmissions in the first year and numerous visits to the dealer to correct squeaks and body trim falling off. Buy another make car!

Dont Buy an Audi - 2004 Audi A4
By kelbelle37 - April 14 - 10:27 amMy Audi has serious electrical problems (every headlight, tail light, turn signal and now the regulator which controls my power window - $350 to replace - has been replaced at least once) and Audi USA and the dealer dont seem to care. I get "it happens to every car" - not any that I owned in the past (Japanese). Theyre great looking cars and fun to drive, but need too much up-keep for the price. Think of something else before purchasing unless you dont mind dishing out hundreds of $$$ every couple months on things that should never go wrong let alone within the first couple months of owning a brand new, showroom floor car.

2004 Audi A4 - A LEMON! - 2004 Audi A4
By mvaladez - December 13 - 10:00 amMy AUDI A4 is on the brink of "lemon" classification -- it has been in the shop for 22 days. I bought the car just 6 months ago and sadly, Ive had problems with it for the past 3 months. According to the service center, it is not safe to drive. It shakes violently and for some unfortunate reason, always decides to buck when coming to a stop. The transmission part needed is on back order & Audi has no idea when it will arrive. Apparently "tracking systems" are not part of Audis lexicon. I highly advise anyone interested in purchasing this vehicle to do plenty of research on the CVT system and think twice before going down this path.

Dont blow a tire - 2004 Audi A4
By Margie Determan - April 30 - 10:00 amI am looking at $1500-2000 of repairs to my gas tank, wheel lining and shock absorber, not to mention the replacement tire, which was $180, because I had a flat tire on this vehicle at 2389 miles. To my dismay, neither the dealership, nor Audi of America, will stand behind their vehicle and cover any of this cost. I apparently had a leaking gas tank for several days before the "check engine" light alerted me to a potential problem. It would seem that the design of this automobile should address the severe damage that apparently can be caused on this car from a flat tire. It makes me concerned about my safety.
