Overview & Reviews
For 2003, all TL models equipped with the navigation system receive OnStar as standard equipment.
- Excellent value, comfortable front seats, impressive power from the Type-S engine, long list of standard equipment.
- Average interior materials, lacks the panache of some competing luxury sedans.

3.2TL TYPE S NAVI - 2003 Acura TL
By GEORGEP - May 3 - 10:00 amGREAT CAR PREVIOUS OWNER 3.5RL & ACCORD I THINK HONDA PRODUCTS ARE THE BEST OUT THERE. I DIDNT LOOK AT OTHER BRANDS, BECAUSE I NEW FOR THE MONEY IT COULDNT BE BET. YES THERE ARE A FEW THINGS THAT COULD BE DONE TO INHANCE THE CAR, BUT LETS DONT GET TO PICKEY FOR THE $$$. I HAVE OWNED BMW AND FOR THE MONEY THE TL HAS IT HANDS DOWN.

Smooth Set of Wheels - 2003 Acura TL
By mulligankid - April 28 - 2:00 amVery refined throughout, comforable seating, quick to heat up on cold days, excellent sound system, deceptively quick in the manual shift mode (which is both fun & useful) smooth shifting 5 spd auto.

Headlights a problem - 2003 Acura TL
By johngalt - April 8 - 2:00 amBe careful before you buy this car -- the headlights go for $800 each and get stolen very often. At the mall, in the driveway, parked while working, etc. It has happened twice to me and I am dumping this car -- I cant take the expense anymore.

Excellent Balance - 2003 Acura TL
By Samskara - April 6 - 2:16 pmAnybody can make a great car -- just pick out some wow factor that seems intriguing and ignore every other aspect. You can have power, or luxury, or economy, or almost anything else, as long as you toss every other consideration aside. The TL-S isnt great by any of those standards, and thats its best feature. It can accelerate well enough to get on any highway, handle well enough to stay out of trouble, offer enough comfort and quiet so that you dont mind spending a day in the car, all at a price thats still within shouting distance of being reasonable, with acceptable gas mileage. FWIW, the model has had transmission problems -- Honda extended the warranty and didnt keep it secret

love my new TL - 2003 Acura TL
By jar22 - April 3 - 10:00 amLooked at the MB, A4, G35, ES 300. The Acura offered the most for the money. What a comfortable, smooth ride. This car is loaded with every option you could want. I also felt like the Acura would be more reliable in the long run since I keep my cars 6-7 years as well as less expensive to maintain.

Great Driving Car - 2003 Acura TL
By goleonar - March 9 - 10:00 amI bought it for my wife, but I keep looking for excuses to drive it. The power, predictble and precise handling (for a for door sedan) make driving effortless and enjoyable. Wish it had a stick.

Outstanding Car - 2003 Acura TL
By JohnZ - February 25 - 2:00 amDespite the fact that this is the last year for this body design, I purchased the TL. I bought it because of its quality, reliability, performance and bang for the buck. You will not be disappointed with this car. From fit & finish to drivability, it competes and exceeds its competitors.

Almost perfect - 2003 Acura TL
By gt0279a - February 25 - 2:00 amTraded in my 2000 Integra gs lease for a Black & Tan TLS. Car has a great feel, grips road well and engine performs when needed. Price was the deciding factor over 325i and g35. $0 down & $400/month with honda loyalty lease. Poor Gas mileage (14-16 average with oregon gas) and unimpressive stereo, but otherwise a great buy.
