I came into Smithhaven CJDR not know exactly what I wanted. I drove Honda Accords for many years and wanted a change. Palma in sales was wonderful. She took the time to go over all the things I was looking for and found me a beautiful, loaded Dodge Ram Big Horn that I could not be happier with. She was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. There were no high pressure sales tactics, only care and concern that I got what I wanted. The finance department was also great. Ivy worked with me to get a payment that I was comfortable with and explained everything to me clearly. She was extremely professional and detailed. "Will Not Honor Cars.com Price!!!!!"
I bought the truck anyway. Its the one I wanted. Whatever, Im a sucker and honestly/foolishly hoped that my salesman Frank would take care of me on a purchase in the near future (see below). All the people there are really nice until it is time to talk turkey. Acted like they were doing me such a big favor knocking $500 off the price. But, when I showed them the price advertised on Cars.com (about $2500 less), they laughed. Claimed it was a misprint and that was actually the "dealer cost" and there was no way they could sell it to me at that price. I SHOULD HAVE WALKED OUT RIGHT THERE. I didnt. I get in these moods that I just dgaf and there I was. Anyway..... There were two of the EXACT SAME TRUCK listed for that price. This was three weeks ago. THE OTHER ONE IS STILL LISTED ON CARS.com FOR THE SAME PRICE!!!!!!! Today!!!!!!! 5/31/17. For any Vets, law enforcement, firefighters (Im FDNY) that are in "the program"...... dont bother looking here. Especially for pre-owned. I was promised that they would give my fiancé a good deal on a jeep lease. They didnt. She currently leases a top of the line Cherokee and the "best they could do" for her was a base model for around $150 more a month than she pays now. At the time they had an internet ad on their website for the car she wanted for less than she was already paying and they wouldnt honor that either!!!!!!!! She obviously wont be getting her next lease here. I am only writing this review because their "sales manager" contacted me today regarding a 3 star review I left on Yelp (going to change it to 2 now). Said he would have to check into what I was saying and would get back to me. He didnt. Makes me feel like Im being accused of being untruthful. I stand behind that review and consider it generous. And the same goes for this one. I will never buy another vehicle from this place and I wont recommend it to anybody. Its a shame because I live right near here and we are a Jeep family. I own a Wrangler, my girl loves the Cherokee, and I just bought the Ram. My father has a Ram, my sister has a Patriot, half of my extended family either has a Jeep or a Ram!!!!! And, after my salesman and other dealer representatives calling me and messaging me several times since my purchase..... Im a little fed up. I havent had this experience at other Jeep dealers. Unless they are just dying to give me some sort of refund, JUST LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE. By the way..... this app is great. Awesome tool. But, before you go to look at a car, check out the dealers Yelp reviews also. You will get a much more accurate idea of what is happening with that dealer. Im of the opinion that most of the dealer reviews posted on this app arent real.

Couldnt have asked for a better experience for buying and financing my fist "big" car. Having paid full cash for my past cars from private dealers I was very nervous about what a dealership/financing entailed. I visited the dealership on Saturday interested in the Nissan Rogue I found online. Troy greeted my mother and I right away and took us to see the car. Troy is easily the nicest and most honest person to deal with. He answered every question I asked, talked me through the entire process, wrote down everything for me to look over, gave advice with my old car, and even urged me to test drive the car so I could see if I would even be comfortable with the car. He never tried to oversell the car and even let me look at comparable cars just to see if I liked anything else. I left without feeling pressured or pushed at all. I returned Monday to purchase the car and again Troy couldnt have been more professional and welcoming. He made everything very straight forward with no surprises from what he told me the other day. This dealership and Troy definitely deserve all the high reviews they receive.

I went to this dealership to trade in my Mazda 3 for a Mitsubishi EVO X. Troy was my salesman. He is very friendly, helpful, and courteous. I told him exactly what I was expecting, as far as payment wise, as he wrote an agreement up that stated if my monthly payments werent within my specified range, we didnt have to do the deal. The finance manager wasnt pushy either and helped me obtain payments within my range. I wasnt there forever, like I have been at other dealerships in the past. Several hours later, and I left with my new car and payments within my specified range. I would definitely recommend this dealership to others. If you want a great salesman who is down to earth and not trying to push a sale on you, then ask for Troy!

The entire Smith Haven team went above and beyond to make my "end of the month" deal on my new 2017 ram 1500 sport! The one thing I loved most about this dealership is that you dont feel they are taking advantage of you. They gave me a fair deal and treated me with respect. I did everything on phone set everything up financing was done!! When I got there they gave some salesman who knew nothing about how to deal with people to finish the sale so he could get his commission , which he should have never gotten but it took over two hours to detail my car which was in the cleaning shop from 12 and I got there around two waited two more hours to get the car which was never cleaned even the manager came out they left sticker on my windshield andthey got my car my money, then to find out they only had one key the manager said he would bring me the key when they got it well I called and called no call backs at all then the salesman called said they had the key they would call me right back 4 days I tryed calling leaving messages on there phone and with all different people till finally I got the manager again he said I would have to bring the suv back because they ordered a new key which had to be paired with the truck NOT once did anybody tell me this could happen then they all got really nasty because I was so upset because I had left my key in my office and no backup key so when I called they said I was rude but being honest it is there responsibility to have the key and my car cleaned, I just got messed up with the wronge dealership I have 6 or more leases different company but this was the worst and nobody even said they were wronge.

The salesman was good, but the finance person was great ¿¿. Once we purchased the vehicle one of the keys was missing. They promised to mail the key. We have been calling they have NEVER returned our calls nor has the manager bothered to return our calls. Because of this we wont buy another car or release with them. I dont appreciate not receiving calls back or not caring because now we made the purchase. We have probably called about 8-10 times.

I bought two cars in the past week; one from "another local dealer" and one from Smith Haven Dodge. The first experience was a total nightmare because while I considered myself an astute car buyer, I managed to get hoodwinked when the finance rep snuck in an extra, undisclosed $1955 into the price of the car. After contacting Chrysler/Jeep it was removed, but they were far from gracious or apologetic about it. This time, I decided to check into Smith Haven. No hassles, no lies, no pressure, no fuss. Straight forward, friendly, thoughtful, polite.....honest, fair. Wish I could take back the first car and buy it from Dave Schulman, Alex Gomez and the exceptional Finance Director, Dominc Galgano. I saved THREE points on my interest rate (less than perfect credit at this time) and got a great price with some nice extras thrown in. I am smiling from ear to ear about finding a place that makes me feel like a CLIENT more than a CONSUMER. Thank you to all of my new friends.
