Best experience weve had buying anew car. Everyone was friendly and informative. Caroline was the best. Sweet, friendly and knowledgeable.No hard sell. Honest and patient. Dave our salesman was great. Very helpful. Save took a lot of time to show us all the options in the car and how they work. Even though his shirt was over, he hung around an extra 2 hours until we left. Whoever "cleaned" the car beforehand, however, needs to go into a different line of business. The car door and lift gate jam were filthy. The windows were disgusting. The last thing we wanted to do was have to wash our new car and clean the windows.
"What A Head Ache"
I purchased a niro in April from here and it went amazing . Then in August I had an an of over spray of chemical paint on the car and the insurance company total the car . Just before I found that out I needed service so I made appointment for 4 pm when we got there they said they were to busy and I would have reschedule. They had it for two days for a check engine light and we could not get threw on the the phone to ask about it. After finding out the car was totaled because of the paint problem I came in for a new Niro which went well once again. But then I need more papers and information on the old Niro which took forever to get from them . Never was able to see the manager and what is worse . The insurance company saw I took an extended warranty out for the Electronics and said I should be getting that back since or some of it since the car was only a few months old. Needless to say I have never herd from Generation again. I Love the care but will never return to that dealership again. I will instead find a better dealer to do business with . I felt they cant wait to sell a car , but their service does not match up to other dealerships I have dealt with in the past
"Less Than Forthright"
Had a vehicle to sell. Filled out the necessary information on Cars.com to sell to a dealer. Received a very competitive quote online from Generation Kia. Called to make an appointment to bring in the vehicle for visual inspection. They come back with an offer that is more than 15% below the online offer. In fact, it was lower than other online offers from other dealers. Total waste of time. In short, the experience with the used car department was disappointing. Good Luck Generation Kia. Sellers of used cars or for trade-ins, beware.

Went to purchase used vehicle and made it clear of what I needed out of my trade in. I was looking into turning in 2 vehicles the numbers they came back with were an absolute disgrace. its was almost embarrassing. when I called to confirm if maybe they forgot about the other trade in didnt even have to common courtesy to call back. The sales person was top notch but leader in the sales dept is ruthless.

"A Great Car Buying Experience"
My wife and I had been through the car buying gambit and had been to more than enough shyster dealerships. Then we found a car on line at Generation KIA. We went to our appointment and took a test journey. We drive this car for over a half hour putting it through the paces. Although we liked it, it just wasnt right. Our sales associate, Steven, did not pressure us in any way. He actually told us "sometimes it just isnt right, let me know if you see anything else" and he walked towards the sales office. He just said "if you see something else just let me know". Well my wife and I did see something else. We were left alone to look and speak between ourselves with no pressure. Steven brought us the keys for the car, we went for another cruise, again over half an hour. This car was exactly what we wanted. We showed them our trade in, and was given a very fair price. Fair enough that we didnt want to try to sell it ourselves. We told them exactly what we could do, and they did everything they could to get to our budget. It was a deal. George, the sales GM, worked with Steven to make sure everything worked for us. I never would have believed that buying a car could actually be like this. No pressure, real people that treat and speak to you the way they want to be treated and spoken to. Real polite, genuine, no pressure, no pushing, giving you your time and privacy. No lies, no shifty paperwork, no "there were two other people looking at the same car", no garbage. Just real professional, very thorough, answered all our questions, and were very patient. My wife and I have already told two other co-workers to go to Generation KIA, and to ask for Steven. I need not say anything more.

Salesperson was misleading in every aspect of the transaction. Sales manager hung up the phone on me when I called to ask a question. We ended up thoroughly researching after our bad experience at Generation Kia and purchased our Kia at Eagle Auto in Riverhead, NY. The Eagle Auto sales person and sales manager were welcoming, and delivered what was promised. Picked up our car from Eagle in one day. Wasted a week with Generation Kia who never was going to deliver what had been agreed upon. Stay away. Stay far, far away.

I bought my car here and get all my work done here. I got over charged for my oil change and I refuse to get my car wash here. Got it done 2 times and I had 2 go out and get it redone. Came out horrible. They wont take care of there own customers. Unhappy all around

"Not Happy Will Never Go Back"
Brought one of my kids in for a used car. At first things were ok. Then I felt as if we were bothering them. We were not sat with a loan officer, all dealings were done with the salesman. Told they would get back to us the next day. Before leaving I said please run through our credit union. I was assured that would not be a problem. 3 days go by and my son was told he got the loan for a payment he could afford, but they are going to try to get a better rate. Ok sounds good. So much for the loan or the better rate. The interest went up, the previous loan supposedly was taken back, but he can have the loan with a large deposit. I felt like they got the kids hopes up and then body slammed him to the ground.

i had a wonderful experience purchasing my used 2013 kia, My salesman Kindu Smith was extremely helpful through every step . I found the car i wanted on their website and called Kindu on the phone prior to my visit to be sure that the car was in their lot and that everything on the website was the same as the car they had on hand. Kindu personally went out and checked out the car thoroughly , mileage, for dings, dents, color, etc. all while i was on the phone and promised me it was, he was true to his word. The remaining purchasing process was painless, he explained everything thoroughly and i was not surprised by any hidden fees along the way. I actually received a discount thanks to Kindu and his manager because of having a bad experience a few days prior at a DIFFERENT Kia location. The paperwork was completed in a timely manner and i was picking up my car by the next afternoon. (i could of drove away that night, but i wasnt expecting it to go so smooth (from past experience in other dealerships) so i didnt have all my paperwork) . Also, within 5 days of having my new used car, i woke up to a nail in my tire, but again Kindu and Kia Generation came through. i called road side assistance they were at my house quickly, i had the tire repaired at the dealership at no charge,

"Bought Pre-owned"
Just bought a pre-owned truck from them last week. Worked with Kyle who did a great job. The truck had some minor problems that needed to be fixed and they didnt question fixing them as part of the deal. This was very pleasing and sealed the deal for me. Dropped truck off on Wednesday to get the work done and my only gripe is the organization with what work had to be done. They did not have the parts, but offered me a loaner car for my inconvenience. Got truck back on Friday and they did quality work. If you are looking for a pre-owned, check them out. Their prices were lower when I was shopping around because they do not price gouge to make you feel like you are getting a good deal at the table. All in all, they did what they said they would do and both Kyle the salesman and Rob in service were a pleasure to work with.

6 months ago I walked in, Dwayne was my sales rep & Dave helped me in the finance dept. It was my 1st experience buying a car so of course I was excited. Sadly, 6 mo into having my car a drunk driver plowed into in having it totaled out. I have been back since to have work done on my CPO car and all of the service employees have been extremely helpful and a joy to talk to, Dwayne even remembered me and asked me how everything was. Aside from a few problems I have had with my car which have now been corrected through the dealership everything about getting my CPO Car has been wonderful.
