thanks guys for sharing your experience i went through the same thing in NJ at a honda dealer. i dont understand how Honda as a corporation allows this. i like Hondas but these dealerships are making it very difficult to stay loyal. i will not be going to this dealership any time soon.

"Push You To Buy Extra..........."
Find out the price first And be very careful they will add a lot of thinks if you financing ( warranty and ........) if you wont take it he will tell you , your rate will go higher. Make a deal with your own bank or find different dealer. You have to wait long hours in the dealership and nobody cares .

I went to Apple to inquire about a brand new 2016 Accord. I wasnt bombarded by salesman when I walked in. Sadly, thats the only good thing I have to say. Orlando was my salesman. He was friendly, easy to talk to and very personable. We test drove the car I wanted and discussed prices. Unsure of what I should be paying for a brand new car I was offered a VERY high monthly payment and was given 2 leasing options. I wanted to think about it and was given the "you should leave a deposit, this car wont last!" Speech. The next day I spoke with Orlando again. He is very easy to be honest with and I told him the price was too high. He wanted me to come down with my fiancé to work out some other options. In the meantime I did some research online and checked out a different dealership which gave me a significantly lower price. Later that day Orlando called and I kindly declined his offer and told him I was purchasing the same car at a much lower price. Moments later he called back with an offer to beat the other dealership and offered free maintenance. Now, you would think I would take the lower offer for the same exact car, right? No. Apple would have let me walk out of there a day earlier paying $130 MORE a MONTH without batting an eye. Thats a significant difference from their first offer. Had they have been somewhat honest with their pricing from the beginning they would have made a sale. Im so happy I decided to pay just few dollars more a month to go with the other reputable dealer who didnt try to scam me.

Very disappointed. Saw advertised price on line. Went here and found out price was higher than advertised. Supposedly for a VIP package that I dont need.
"One Strike"
Leasing the car from Orlando was a pleasure and problem free. Love the car. One out of three visits to service department was a bad experience. Had an appointment for oil change at 9:30 am. When I got there I was told there was a 2 1/2 hour delay, I was a little perturbed thinking they should have called me before I went to the dealership. I asked if they would put me in line and I would take the car and do some errands I had around Riverhead and would come back in two hours for my oil change. I was assured the paperwork would be done and ready. At around 11:30 I received a phone call telling me that the shop was still backed up by at least another 2 hours. There was no apology for any inconvience to me, all that was said by the service advisor (which hence forth I will make note of the names) was "you can reschedule", which did not in any way improve my mood or my opinion of Apple Honda. I have since rescheduled that oil change and hoping for a better experience.

I traded my 2011 pilot with 2014 odyssey. They took my car in exchange with the new one now I received a bill from the previous bank for $1300. Instead of buying they returned the vehicle and the bank is charging me for wear and tear. As I returned to them they refuse to take care of that. Now Im stuck with this amount on the top of $4200 that I paid for down payment. They took my car as they are fully responsible and they never said I would be liable for wear and tear. They just wanted to make the sale. I was fooled and betrayed. I lease every three years and I never experienced such situation before. So be sure when you are trading with them

Within 10 minutes after a test drive I bought a new Civic. The salesman was low key and did not try to twist my arm in order to get the sale. I made an offer for the car. His supervisor accepted it and I drove a brand new car home that afternoon. They made the process and paperwork so simple and uncomplicated. Everybody who has bought a new car knows what some dealers put you through to make the sale. Apple Honda was professional throughout the process.

I recently purchased a CRV from Apple Honda. I did my homework and then came in on my lunch hour to buy my car. Arlene was pleasant and professional. She was able to get my color choice from another dealer and sold it to me at the price I offered. She carefully went over all the cars features and was very helpful and informative. When I returned for my first oil change the service department was excellent. I had an appointment and my car was taken right in. It was returned to me in a timely manner and was clean and shiny. This place offers the worst costumer service I have seen in my life, the first time I went to this place everyone was so nice and friendly but as soon after I bought my car the problems started to happen. I went back because I had a couple of problems with my car the sales representative (john jay) told me they couldnt do anything and I would have to speak with the manager but off course he wasnt there. I called three times the secretaries would hang up on me or for some reason he wouldnt return my phone call, I was fed up with the situation so I had to go personally three times before they could solve the problem because all I got from them was a run around, they decided to take my car to the dealership in Southampton because they couldnt do anything that was understandable, and they were supposed to give me a rental for the week but all the person in charge told me all they had was a mini van and his own words he told me "take it or leave it " I would taken the car but it was the nastiness of all the associates working there that really annoyed me. After I got my car back the side of my car was scratch and dented by the passenger side, I went back and told the manager and instead of trying to fix the problem he gave me an attitude and told me he couldnt do anything. Please if u ever come across this place LEAVE ! They have no costumer service and once you buy the car they wont fix the problems thy will just be nasty about it. I regret ever stepping in this place because I was never treated so disrespectfully in my life.

Jason Esposito seems to be on top of everything. It is working out. Keep going. Pretty good job on the waiting area.

What I love the most about coming to Apple Honda service department are all the smiling faces. They know me; call me by my name. They joke and laugh. "Good morning mister Bennett." "Hey Nathan, how are you?" From the valet to the service reps, the mechanics and even the cashier. They all know me and make me feel welcomed. The VIP treatment is really hammered home; loaner cars, free car wash, and money back on service? (with VIP card) Awesome! Then theres the repairs (maintenance). I, personally, have never had to go back time and again to get something fixed. I go to Apple once and the problem gets solved. Period. Think a repair isnt necessary? The technician will explain to you, like a human, why it is. He doesnt talk down to you and he doesnt use jargon that will soar over your head. I like that.

A new car battery was installed in my car 6 months ago. The car would not start start last week so the service department promised to tow car since the problem appeared to be the battery. They reneged on that promise at the very last moment. No longer confident in the service departments handling and repairing of my car, I had another repair shop look at it. The battery was nearly empty of the acid needed in order for it to work. After not having the use of this car for several days due to Apple Hondas refusal to stand by their original work, I had the battery replaced by the other repair shop. Apple Honda offered to replace the battery but I no longer feel that is an option considering the manner in which this matter was originally handled. I have now paid for a new battery twice since Apple Honda refuses to reimburse me. In the future, I will never have any other servicing or repairs done on my cars by this dealer nor will I ever recommend them to anyone I know.

DO NOT buy a car from Apple Honda REALLY known as APPLE AUTO SALES aka Garsten Motors. They have an F rating on the Better Business Bureau under this name. My friend bought a used car, notified dealership something was VERY wrong after 24 hrs! Given a loaner several days later. Jason in service is rude and hung up several times after friend asked why it was taking so long to get the car back. , Gary the SALES MANAGER rude and ordered friend & a friend who accompanied him off the lot or hed call the police. ..all because he wanted to know why car was still in repair after 15 days! VP won’t return calls. Friend also witnessed another customer being given a hard time by the service dept! Unprofessional, rude and should be out of business! BUYER BEWARE!!!

My husband and I have become a Honda family in that he purchased an Accord in 2001 and I purchased an Accord in 2011. Both Accords were purchased at Apple Honda. Both buying processes were a positive experience without pressure or confusing language. Our vehicles are serviced at Apple Honda-yes, my husband still owns the 2001 Accord. The service department takes such good care of his vehicle,he may keep that Honda for another 12 years! Whenever we bring one of the cars into service,we are always given courteous attention. Any problems regarding repairs of either vehicle are thoroughly explained to us and the repairs are completed in a expedient amount of time. I have given five star ratings for all the categories listed above except for the facilities.While the service areas and the sales areas are clean and well kept, there is a need for modernization. Apple Honda is apparently going through remodeling soon. It will be interesting to see the new and improved Apple Honda,but we are sure that the service and friendly attitude toward the customer will remain the same.
