I went in for a State inspection and was told all brakes require replacement. But not a failure for rears. After checking pads and rotors I found only 1/2 worn. When I returned they said some corrosion on front rotor was reason for failure, quite questionable. After stating they fixed my tail lights [replaced fuse] I had it go again. Bottom line, be aware not all stated is actual. On the plus side they give a good look at the car [may be to critical]. Just want the truth

I have purchased three (3) new autos from this dealership and had previously used three (3) other dealerships prior to discovering Arnold. I will be staying with Arnold. First, they sell a quality product. Secondly, the buying experience was pleasant and unpressured and the sales people know their product. The sales people were very helpful on two different occassions on "re-setting up" my Bluetooth phones after the initial purchase setting up. Third, the normal service experience was a pleasure and when I did need an "Acute" fix they were very accomodating and kept me up to date on the progress. The charges were very reasonable and the car was returned when promised and returned clean. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending Arnold to friends and family and have done so already

I originally came to Arnold Chevrolet Buick a few years ago. I live in Queens and have a house on the south shore of Long Island. I was looking to trade in a previous Buick I owned for a new 2010 LaCrosse. When I googled dealerships close to my summer house, Arnold was one of the first places that came up. Since the day I walked into the dealership that spring (and walked out with a new LaCrosse) I was hooked. Everyone at Arnold is so friendly and welcoming. You really feel like family. The salesmen on the floor and mechanics in the shop are trustworthy and knowledgable. There is never any pressure and the staff truly cares. So, since I bought the LaCrosse the only service center I use is Arnold. Yes, I drive from Queens to West Babylon simply because I am so confident Arnold will take the best care of me and my car. When I was looking to trade in my LaCrosse for a 2014 Enclave, naturally my first choice was Arnold and again I had a fabulous experience thanks to Mark Whelan (who couldnt have been more patient and kind as I sat in almost every Enclave on the lot lol). I am so happy to say I am driving around in another gorgeous new car thanks to Arnold and Mark! I couldnt thank you guys enough for all the wonderful service throughout the years!

I was surprised to find i neded to drive right into the shop.Most dealers leave you looking for a parking space out side somewhere. I was taken care of right away. Most dealers have you wait in line. You need to know plate of your vehicle or vin so they can find your car. The staff was friendly. Another thing I found at most shops or dealers I was not treated like they were doing me a favor servicing my car.I was impressed and plan to continue to use Arnold for my cars service.

Service was prompt and efficient. All personnel were courteous and friendly. The car is well taken care of. My only problem was that a problem with the shifter (sometimes leaving the key stuck in the ignition) could not be looked at on the Saturday when I called but had to wait until Tuesday to be addressed.

"2013 Cruze Recall"

I called to make an appointment for the recall on my wifes 2013 cruze. An appointment was made for Saturday, which was great. I should have been told ahead of time that you do not yet have the parts to fix the problem. After waiting about an hour I was told that my wifes car looked fine and there should be no problem with it, but the part on the axle had to be replaced. I was then told I would have to come back when the part came in. I already knew that part had to be replaced before I came in. I think I should have been told when I made the appointment that the problem could not be corrected, and given the option of making a later appointment when they would have the parts to correct the problem. Now I have to give up another Saturday morning to get it fixed. I really have no problems with your service department, they are always very courteous and take care of any problems I have. In fact it is one of the reasons I have bought so many cars from you over the years, but I think this recall could have been handled a little better.

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. One of the technicians noticed a damaged tire from hitting a pothole. We have many here in NY from a bad winter. They didnt have the tire in stock, but made sure one was delivered in a timely manner and I was on my way....safely.

I arrived later than I wanted for an oil change, tire rotation, etc. and expected to be there for about 2 hours, due to the late arrival. They got me in and out in under an hour... a pleasant surprise. The entire dealership has recently been remodeled so it was no problem hanging out in their very nice waiting room where the news was on the nice flat panel TV. I also had my ipad with me and used that with their wi-fi access. Also had coffee and donuts.
