What most impressed me most was, after the sale was completed, Sunny spent a good amount of time explaining all of the safety features available with the RDX. He sat in the car, made sure we understood everything, and showed that he actually was interested in providing us information on the car. After 15 mins of him talking, which probably made him exhausted, he said something very unusual, which i never heard from a car sales rep He said " if in the future you dont understand any of the features, call me or text me on my cell and ill be more than happy to explain it again" Now a guy thats already made the sale, is willing to offer his time in the future, for basically nothing in return, is a guy you want to give your business to. Very disappointing. After much shopping for pre-owned car, found one at VS Acura. My partner drove 1.5 hours to Valley Stream from our home to test the car and liked it. Asked whether price was negotiable from the internet price, and VS Acura said no, but wrote us up paperwork showing (their) price, taxes, title, etc all in, with our proposed deposit and subject only to financing approval. My partner got home, and after we discussed it, called VS Acura back and said we would go forward with the car and wanted to give deposit. The person he spoke with said the salesperson was out, the manager was in a meeting, and he would have someone call us back to get our deposit. After a long weekend of family being out with flu, and no return call from VS Acura, we called back to ask to place deposit and said we had cleared our schedules for the day after next to come get the car. Bianca, who is wonderful and very helpful said great, she would get the manager to help us process our deposit. The manager came on and said they were not going to honor their offer, they revised the price upward by over $1,000, upped the internet price as well, and said they would no longer stand by the deal they offered last week. Extremely disappointing way to to business.

Before this dealership moved to Sunrise Hwy, they were on Merrick Road. They actually looked like a mom and pop store but they had the best service. You can purchase a car without being harassed. I was in the market to upgrade my sedan to an SUV or Crossover as my family of 2 has increased to 3. After speaking with my friend, he encouraged me to look into the Acura MDX. I saw a few options online with one of them being at Acura of a Valley Stream (moved to Lynbrook on Sunrise Hwy recently). From the moment I walked in I felt welcome. Initially I was greeted by their sales manger, Mike. He was cordial, professional and patient which are all characteristics I look for in a salesman. After discussing what I was looking to he recommended a certified (low mileage) 2015 MDX. After going on the test drive I knew i didnt need to look any more. Once you we got back to the dealership I was assigned to his sales rep, Frank. I worked worked with him on finalizing a price which was VERY fair. He did a great job of not being pushy or making me feel uncomfortable. After we finalized the price, I was passed along to their finance guru, Sunny. He was an absolute pleasure to do business with. This was by far the most pleasant and easiest car buying experience yet. After having been yo-yod around with poor salesmanship and price haggling, VS Acura and Sunny Pasha was where I wanted to give our business to. We were upfront and clear with what we wanted. I went over to the dealer to test drive an ILX with full intentions to buy. When I arrived I was greeted by the young lady at the welcome desk and she was very cordial and welcoming. She asked us what was the purpose of our visit and proceeded to get us a salesman and was even helpful in directing us to the location of the new cars on the second floor. I mention this because this is the extent of the good parts of our visit. When we met with the salesman he was not friendly at all and did not seem too interested in our business. We proceeded to tell him that we had an interest in the vehicle and we wanted to talk a test drive. During the test drive the salesman was pretty quiet throughout the whole ride where I had to make small talk with him and ask him questions about the vehicle if not I would not have gotten any information. When my wife and I got back to the dealer the salesman that went with us on the test drive ended up being pulled away and the next salesman named Winslow came to assist us. He explained how the back seats could be folded down and then asked what type of deal we were looking for. At this point since it was apparent we werent going to get any good customer service I just asked him to proceed with giving us the numbers to get the vehicle. As we proceeded to talk about the numbers Winslows smug attitude really turned both my wife and me off as we felt as if Winslow did not care much for our business. We proceeded to walk away with no one even acknowledging that we were dissatisfied with the level of service. I wiould advise that if you are looking to get into an Acura and you are looking for any type of good customer service do not go to this dealer.

"Horrible Customer Service"

I would not recommend Acura of Valley Stream to anyone. I brought in my car to be checked out and I was told it would take an hour to an hour and a half. I understand that to check one problem can lead to checking if the problem is coming from somewhere else but it took them 3 and a half hours to let me know what was wrong with the car and while I waited, no one came to me to apologize for the delay or even give me an estimated time of completion. The staff did not once apologize. They definitely need to update their waiting and service areas as they are outdated. I will not return there.
