After a few mishaps (e.g., scheduling delays due to lack of coverage and resource support, no updating of status for PC reference) - The Service Manager (Rodrigo Barros) immediately stepped-in hoping to turn a challenging encounter into a dealership-customer win/win situation. As a "Lessons Learned" opportunity, he was able to turn a negative situation into a positive one by proactively taking care of his team’s service oversights. He shared some strategies with me in which he incorporated empowered full-proof precautionary measures into the new work process, thereby, ensuring this type of service incidents would not happen again. In moving forward, he personally made sure that I was painlessly taken care of by offering me some customer incentives (loaner car, etc.) that was truly appreciated. With all the customer service challenges that a dealership routinely experiences in todays business environment, I couldn’t help but notice that Rodrigo (leading by example) was graciously out in the battlefield (front service counter) working elbow to elbow with his teammates offering service associate-customer assistance when needed, writing up service requests, providing live on-the-job training, and so forth. Rodrigos customer service satisfaction expertise/savvy has resulted in a lifetime customer for SAGE Chevrolet. His efforts and the GREAT service I personally received from him and team will be shared with my family, friends, and business associates, who I hope will also become SAGE Chevrolet customers as well.
