I had an exceptional sales presentation and visit at this Honda dealership. Joe, the sales person, greeted me immediately upon walking on the lot. Generally, Im not the customer who wants to be approached when looking for, and scouting vehicles. However, Joes friendly smile, and engaging professionalism, and pleasant enthusiasm drew me in to ask questions and really dive into the value of the vehicles, of my interest. I received straightforward answers to all my questions, and a couple easy going test drives with no pressure or hassles. While I was on the fence of buying a vehicle this day, Joe overcame all my inquiries and objections with down to earth, simple, engaged conversation. I entered the sales process, and experienced a smooth process and transition that left me Very comfortable, and positive I was working with the right team, representing the right dealership. James jumped in to seamlessly help expedite the sales process, and Sam in Finance presented the must comfortable, easy signing Ive experienced when purchasing a new vehicle. 7/4/2015 Cooper Mugg made buying a our Civic EX-L a pleasant experience for 2 old ladies dreading test driving & haggling the price. He spent 2 hours with us test driving, & later, after hours of price research at home, according to Consumer Reports, only 1 person got the same car locally for less than us in the last six months, & only $200 less than us. The Sales Manager did tell us that our offer numbers from Consumer Reports, True Car, & Kelley Blue Book did not include the Destination Fee, which I knew was not the truth at the time & have since confirmed, but he came back with a counter offer that was still below those sites Unusually Low / Exceptional Price categories. I also didnt appreciate the Sales Manager or Managers that called & emailed between our test drive & closing getting my name wrong 3 out of 3 times, 1 of which was different from the 1st mistaken name. However, Cooper more than made up for the Sales Manager(s)! Cooper was very patient, helpful, & the complete opposite of what we remember of car salesmen that gives them a bad reputation. In fact, even after the deal was done, everyone at Norm Reeves was very nice to us. I would highly recommend both Cooper Mugg & Norm Reeves Honda Superstore Irvine!

Never ever Norm Reeves Honda. After 14 weeks my car isn´t stiil registered. After 14 weeks i´ve still no chance to pay my finance plan cause i´ve still no information about the bank who made the finance. Called Norm Reeves Honda ra 20 times in the last 4 weeks. My finance manager doesn´t work there anymore, the other finance manager (Eric) said he will call me back but nothing happend. Funny that he´s never available when i try again. Same is the sales manager (Steven). Talked to him one time. He promised to call back. Nothing happend and since our smalltalk i can´t reach him anymore. So my car is still not registred and i´ve still no idea when and where i have to pay my finance plan. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!

The process was straight-forward, honest, and saved me a lot of time. I requested 10 quotes from 10 dealerships in Orange County and you were the one of the three that really gave me a price instead of asking me to pay you a visit first. I did not shop around and instead went to your dealership right after I got a decent price from your Internet service manager via emails and text message. I purchased my car right away. Sean was very helpfuil. They were not bias about my car being old, I have been places where they were because my car was aged. I received the same treatment as those with new cars. Waiting for my car was also a good experience everyone was very nice. I really enjoyed the great complimentary Tazo tea, it is my favorite. I was first told it might be a 4 hour wait and next thing I know in 1 1/2 hours my car not only had a new battery but the recalled IMA situation was totally repaired and they even did a complimentary check of the whole car. Your lounge with TV, bathroom and coffee etc makes it such a pleasant experience that I usually will just wait there while my car is being checked.

It was a mostly a good experience. Starting with the Honda personnel who attended to the car when it was brought in, to the professional service manager who explained all the relevant details of the service that was going to be done, and to the service manager who worked with me in completing the payment and paperwork after the work was done. The bad experience was waiting for over 1.5 hours for the shuttle and then told to go back and wait when I informed the person in-charge.

Eric Stephens, Service Director initially met with me. After explaining my reason for the visit, he took personal charge of the issue. Dispite my uncertainty of the issue and the warranty implications he and the service advisor, Tom (did not get a last name) addressed the problem beyond my expectation and much to my satisfaction. Up until this expierence I was considering switching brands, as my 2010 Civic coupe has had some issues. Now I am reconsidering that decision based on this visit.

The complimentary rental car was a very nice surprise as well. I have never been offered that before and have been going to Irvine Honda for years. I also appreciated Honda inspecting my vehicle beyond what I came in for.

Joe Sadozai I unfortunately had a terrible experience working with Joe. I was in the market for an older Accord EXL model. At the time Joe initially contacted me – he stated that the dealership had 3 remaining in stock. We were interested but told Joe that his price was too high and we were going to move forward on a purchase of a certified pre-owned vehicle that was considerably lower. Joe came back with a lower quote and we countered with a quote that was only slightly less and agreed to meet Joe that evening if the price was accepted. We also asked for an itemized list of fees. It is then that Joe disappeared. We called him back after his multiple emails and texts prior to our final counter. He said he was busy and would call us back and he never did. Our feeling was that as soon as we asked for the list of itemized fees – Joe panicked and decided he would try to get a better deal elsewhere. We think the dealer probably charges more fees than other dealerships and the price that is being negotiated does not give the whole story of what the end price will be. We later found out that the 3 vehicles had been sold by the next day. We think Joe used our interest as negotiation with other buyers. Our experience is unfortunate because the dealership seems to be reputable but one bad apple can ruin it for everyone. My recommendation with this dealership is definitely ask for itemized fees upfront so that there are no surprises – even if the dealership prefers to not share those. Some reputable sales people it seems are listed in other reviews and we would strongly suggest trying to work with those rather than Joe. I was simply looking for a specific Accord model and working with Joe has ruined my desire to deal with dealerships. It is unfortunate since I live in Orange County and strongly preferred to deal with Norm Reeves. I still think the dealership may be workable just avoid Joe at all costs.

I was specially pleased with the salesperson Jim Saber who showed care. Drove me to the car lot and waited long time until I made my choice. He was also very useful in explaining the functionalities of the car once it was purchased. It did not feel like he just wanted to make a sale but cared that we make the best of our use of the car. Sam G the service intake /writer was amazing! He worked quickly to get me in & out for my warranty assessment & on the follow up appt do perform warranty work, fuel pump recall & oil check/ gen maint. The dome lights didnt work when I got home the night of service and he calmly told me to come in the next AM and took care of me! I had 2 or 3 kids with me at all service appts and he was kind to us all!!!!!!! We are new to CA & my first service appts have been great! Thanks for making it easy.

In the past Ive had not so good experiences with car dealerships to get my car fixed. Something would always go wrong with my car shortly after I got it out of the shop; but that has not happened to me at Norm Reeves. Also, I was often told whenever I took my car in that I needed to have extra work done (which I understand, but not every time), so I ended up avoiding car dealership mechanics all together for years: but Norm Reeves has never done that. Im thrilled to know that I dont feel like I have to worry about trying to find a good independent mechanic ...Norm Reeves is where I feel safe and treated with honesty. Everybody Ive dealt with have been very pleasant and they all seem to work really well as a team. Norm Reeves also seems very organized and professional. As a woman, it takes a big load off my shoulders knowing that I can take my car to a place like Norm Reeves! I enjoy all the nice teas and coffee, and the sitting area is very comfortable. The minute I stepped on the lot, our salesman, Christopher E., greeted us. I explained what we wanted (2015 Honda Civic), and he made it happen. We drove to another lot and Chris walked all over the place trying to accomodate us. He didnt try and push me into a different/more expensive vehicle, answered all questions, and I never felt pressured. He walked me through the technology / bells and whistles, and followed up after we left the lot. From a customer service stand point, you dont get much better than that. Also, the finance rep, James B., patiently, yet professionally explained the paperwork. It was a no headache process from start to finish.

The gentleman who assisted me was very thorough, helpful, and friendly. As a young woman, I especially appreciate that he explained all the services to me, was responsive to my questions, and did not assume that I wasnt interested in learning about or couldnt understand the services due to my age and gender. My father and boyfriend are always worried that I will be hustled to pay for more services because Im a young woman, which has been my experience with other car repair/service providers. Im very glad that I dont have to worry about that at Norm Reeves.
