I saw a car on line and called to set up a test drive. Morning of appt Mr Mike called to let me know car was ready for me. We arrived. The car was clean and had the car fax on the dash. It was exactly what had been represented online. He stayed inside and let us look at car for a few minutes before he came out. He was very friendly absolutely no pressure. He answered our questions went on a test drive with us. I liked the car and in we went to do the paperwork. The other Mr Mike handled the paperwork got me a great interest rate and the whole process was very quick. Ms Jackie was pleasant and efficient. Firstly, everything about their operation is the absolute antithesis of the contemporary dealer business model. This is old school, down home, keeping it real family business No stress No games No drama After finding the car on the cars.com website and requesting more information I was promptly contacted by the sales manager Mike Friend. He happened to call while I was in a meeting and politely asked when I would be available. Once provided, he called back at the precise time agreed upon and I scheduled an appointment. Upon my arrival the car was front and center, in the process of being detailed for my arrival. Within 2 minutes of my arrival, a very cordial, laid back and professional Mr. Friend exited his office and met me in the lot. Once greeted, he introduced me to his energetic sales associate Osaide. He was equally professional. Long story short, after negotiating the price down with the owner, another laid back Mike, I bought the car. Thrifty gave me a great car buying experience. Because I am a student, dont have much credit, and didnt have a co signer, it felt like it was almost impossible to get approved for a car loan until I came to thrifty. When I told Osaid (one of the car dealers) my situation, he didnt give up or just turn me away. Both him and Mike worked so hard and I ended up walking out with the car that I wanted (2012 Ford Escape) and reasonably priced car payments. I highly recommend them! They will get the job done :)

I went into Thrifty Car Sales knowing exactly what I wanted. A honda accord that would be perfect for us and our newborn baby that was on its way. I was searching for a very specific Toyota Tacoma and fortunately I found it at this dealership. Why? Because I got an outstanding deal from one of the most honest guys Ive ever met in the car selling industry. I worked for a car dealership in the past and saw the mark-ups that some dealerships place especially on used vehicles. I understand that business is business, and there are a lot of decent sales reps out there, but most of the time car buyers are still getting ripped off. But not so from this dealership. From the first phone call with Mike Friend, I was please with the service. I knew it may be difficult to be approved since I worked part time and not a lot of credit. My girlfriend will be getting something from them very soon! Now when I first inquired on the vehicle I purchased from Thrifty I had a easy online experience browsing through the inventory selection. Having found something that I liked at an unbelievable price I called expecting and automated answering service to leave a message, and to my surprise Mike answered and informed us to come by. Once we test drove the vehicle mike informed us of some issues with the car that he needed to address first before he would even be willing to sell it to us. (Said no car salesman ever! But Mike did!) And in the following days of business he stayed true to his word addressing my noticed issues as well as a few others at no additional cost to what was initially listed. My girlfriend and I were looking for a reliable vehicle and we now have that. Thanks to Mike! Even with me not having any credit Mike was able to get me approval and low payments on this new vehicle and we couldnt be happier! First let me say that I do not enjoy the car buying process. I hate when salesmen try to push you to buy something you may not be 100% interested. Mike from Thrifty was not that at all. He was very knowledgable about the truck I bought. He was a very up front, matter of fact kind of guy. He worked with my needs and we were able to agree to terms that were acceptable to both parties. The truck I bought only had one set of keys, so he put me in contact with his "key guy". I searched for a few weeks for the truck before I found this vehicle on cars.com. As a small business owner myself its nice to know that I was dealing with the owner, who by the way stayed past closing time on a Friday to make sure the deal got done. Thanks, Mike!
