We walked into the sales room and were a little hesitant at first, but Millie welcomed us almost immediately. We sat at her desk and asked about the vehicle we had seen online. She quickly grabbed the keys and took us to the lot. We test drove the vehicle without a hassle and told her we wanted it but couldnt stay to do paperwork because we had to go to work. She didnt pressure us into staying or leaving money down. We asked her to email us the car information so we could think about it and we left. Millie emailed us the car info, and car fax. She also asked that if we were serious the only thing we had to do was provide her with insurance ID cards as soon as we were ready. I felt peace about the purchase so I quickly got called the insurance company and emailed the cards to Millie. The next day I notified Millie that I wouldnt be able to stop by until evening and they held the car without pressuring us for money. Millie informed us she wouldnt be there so we knew that someone else would take care of us. Nick, the person in charge of finance took care of us when we arrived. The transaction was quick, we didnt spend more than 45 min doing paperwork and getting the vehicle ready to go. The entire experience was great. I will certainly return when Im ready to purchase another vehicle.

Hertz breaks the mold on the “buying a used car experience”!! We came prepared to do battle with a salesperson who’s primary goal is to SELL A CAR, to not let us leave without making a purchase. We weren’t prepared, at all, for the relaxed, honest, caring, knowledgeable and expert help in buying my daughter a car. After a few minutes of talking to the sales person I let my guard down when I realized that I could totally trust her. We were looking for a first car for our Daughter and Millie took the time to show us all different types of cars available in our price range and size. There was no pressure and even though she had two other customers come in while we were there, she still made sure to work with us all the way thru the process. She even had the car cleaned for us at the car wash across the street while we were waiting. They make the buying process pretty simple. After doing many weeks of searching, I found Hertz to have the lowest prices on the most recent year models. Their 12 Mo./12k mile warranty was also very enticing. The cars were in good condition but are sold "as is" though, so if youre looking for a showroom new car, you may not find it. The car we bought, 2015 Toyota Corolla S, has some small scratches but it seems to be in great running condition. If Im in the market again for a used car, Ill start here first.

If you need a quality used car go see millie she is amazing. The transparency of this car store (and I dont use the word dealership because you dont feel like you are in one ) is amazing there is nothing that is hidden at all. After checking that the car I wanted was available I came down to check it out I felt like I was in an office very comfortable and relaxed. The car was ready for me to take it on a test drive. When I took the car on the test drive I noticed that the rear brakes were screeching when I would hit the brakes. When I got back to the store I told millie. She went rite to her manager and he went out to check the brakes. When they came back in they said dont worry we eel send it out asap to get it replaced there was no argument just no problem. I was very pleased and filled out a credit app. They emailed me the next day saying that everything was ready and the details of the deal wich I was very pleased with. This is a no haggle dealership the price you see is the price you get and mine was about 1500$ under book value of the vehicle. When I came to the store to pick it up I checked the brakes and as promised they were replaced. Then it was time for the paperwork. Steve the sales manager went through every document and explained everything there was no stone left unturned. The team there and hertz have simplified used car buying to a science. The experience was so I good I wish I was ready to buy anther car. Dont waste your time going anywhere else

I had a wonderful experience purchasing my gently used 2013 Nissan Altima from Hertz Car Sales. I was taken care of by Millie, an extremely nice sales representative. There was absolutely no pressure to buy at any time. Millie had a list of cars that were available for sale and when I chose one she found that it was not physically on the lot yet. Instead of steering me towards another color or car, she said they would have it on the lot the next day. If you are looking for headaches, frustration, incompetence and people lying to your face this is the dealership for you. Pros: At some point you may get a new car. Cons: 1. It took Hertz a week and a half to get our car inspected and ready for delivery after the paperwork was signed. When I called the salesman to ask why it was taking so long for he preceded to get in to and argument with me ending with him telling me "come in and we will rip you paperwork up". He no longer works there, hmm i wonder why? 2. 45 days after the purchase we are still waiting for our registration and our temporary has expired. The manager claims he cant process the paperwork for the registration until he gets the title from corporate. This takes 45 days? Where are they sending it from Venus? 3. Manager refuses to take or return phone calls. Driving to the dealership is the only way to speak to the manager. 4. The manager will lie to your face. "I return you call but you said your to busy to talk" LIE. "I will call you tonight and let you know if the title came in" LIE. "If the title doesnt come in ill over night you a new temporary registration and you will have it by 10 am" LIE. "yes I sent out a new temp you will have it today" LIE. "no you wont have sign for it" not a lie because you cant sign for something that wasnt sent!! "Your car will be ready for pickup Tuesday" LIE...."Wednesday" LIE..."Thursday" LIE...etc. 5. Hertz raved about how the car passed their "certified used car inspection". I could see that was bogus the tires were bald and the wipers were torn. Sure enough they had to replace the tires to pass inspection and promised me the wiper would be changed. First rain fall I turn on the wipers I cant see anything. "We will replace the wipers" LIE. 6. Hertz will send you a link to a survey asking about your experience, the link wont work. To anyone who temps fate and does business with Hertz car sales in Rockville Centre I wish you the best of luck. Youll need it!!! Sincerely, 45 days in and still waiting to finish our used car transaction.

This review is for Ivan, the sales person that I had the pleasure of working with. Hands down, the most approachable car salesman that youll ever meet. I came in knowing the exact car that I was interested in that was in my budget, and without pressuring me to deviate from that budget, Ivan took me on a test drive and gave me all the time to inspect the car. The closing experience was a little complicated because I was financing the car through a credit union, but nothing that Ivan couldnt handle. Came in to test drive the car on Saturday, waited a day or two for it to be fully prepped (i.e, cleaned, inspected), and then drove away with it on Monday. Its only been 5 days since my purchase so I wont comment on the reliability of the car, but no issues so far (knock on wood...hey, it was a rental after all). I just received my permanent registration in the mail today so theyre also very prompt with paperwork. If youre looking for a used car at this Hertz location, I would recommend asking for Ivan.
