The Hornburg team on Sunset lead by Martin Dodsworth is bar none the best when it comes to a Range Rover Dealer. I was going to leave the brand and get a Mercedes due to trouble with past models and Martin and his sales team (Liz Obst) are basically the reason I remained a customer. They deliver without pressure, care about client needs, and are honest and kind which are characteristics that are often not found in a sale transaction at a car dealership. My 2016 RR supercharged is amazing and I thank them for their help and continued service.

I needed someone to come over and teach me how to use the equipment in the car. It took a long time (calling the supervisor) finally someone came over and taught me how to use it (very helpful). But he couldnt figure out how to use the remote for garage opener and promised me to call me back in few weeks. Now it is few months pass, havent heard from him. I have called the company stayed on the line and left a message… I still cant use my garage opener…. thank you

I dont use Hornburg anymore. The repair & service department is poor on customer service and their prices are twice as much as independent Jaguar repair shops. The last time I was there I had an appointment and waited for 20 minutes watching their service managers standing in the doorway drinking coffee and making jokes. It was disappointing.

We are getting a very low MPG on this car about 12 . It is advertised 19-28 on the car. Not happy!!! We took the car in, but they asks us to wait 3-4 months.

"Fantastic Buying (leasing) Experience!"
Probably the best car leasing experience weve ever had. Right from the outset I told the sales rep that we most likely wouldnt be doing a deal that day, but he was happy to take us on a test drive in 3 different vehicles under no pressure whatsoever to purchase. Such a refreshing change to have a sales rep that was happy to just let you research and try out the product line. The sales rep had great knowledge of the car lineup, features, availability at the dealership and deals that were currently on offer. He even drove us down to the offsite storage location so that we could have a look at a specific color combination that wasnt in the showroom. Once wed decided on the exact vehicle we wanted and the price, there was no subsequent back-and-forth haggling with the finance manager or changing of terms/down payment amounts etc. What the sales rep agreed with us is what we ended up paying. That may sound obvious, but I have leased multiple cars where the sales rep tells you one thing and the finance guy comes back with something else. Not at Hornburg.....what you agree is what you pay! The experience was so encouraging, that I will be going back there in 7 months time to get a second car, once the lease on our other current vehicle expires.

Having read the other 2 comments, I called and emailed this dealership 2 times in two days and never received so much as a response. I can only imagine what the service department is like if the sales department is so poorly staffed. Luckily, there are Jaguar dealers all the way up and down the coast. This place is run more like a Hyundai dealership. Oh, BTW, bought a new Jaguar in Carlsbad.

I had a similar experience, e-mailed to inquire about a vehicle they had listed, left my e-mail address and phone number but never heard back from anyone. Oh well, I found a similar vehicle at another dealership, the other dealership got back to me the same day I inquired about the vehicle, they will continue to lose business if they dont respond to inquiries.
