"First Time Buying A Used Car"
This review is not to bash or praise the dealer.Check over the paperwork and know what you are doing or take someone who knows how car buying should be. I bought a used 2008 VW Passat from Mike. We had some issues with a bad oil pump on the car after I had owned it for a day and I called Mike and he told me to bring it in. At the time he didnt know it was a bad oil pump. I took the car within the first week to him roughly 4 times and Mike jumped on working on it(he even worked on it till about 7pm on a sunday which was his day off) The car was finally fixed and I was able to drive it 800 miles to Ohio a couple weeks later. I cant come up with many complaints on the buying process except for the paperwork. I was buying my first used car and didnt exactly know what I was getting into. I did get a great interest rate on a used car and the payments were low and I was able to get a service contract and Mike upgraded it for free(which I used about 3 months later when the car had a hard breakdown. I dont blame Mike for the issues that causes the breakdown they were issues that typically only a VW dealer would know to look at and only they could measure because VW is known to withhold some of their spec data so owners are forced to go to their dealership for certain maintenance. Back to the point. I was happy with everything until I looked at the contract I signed and read that I didnt get gap insurance. I was told by Tiffany(who knew I had never purchased a car in the states because I also was a military member like Mike the owner) that I would get it free with the bank I financed with. I called the bank and they informed me otherwise. As a first time buyer I felt like somebody got one past me. I wont say that this is a terrible dealer. Any dealership you go to will do what is best for the business. Nothing special here, just another place you can buy your cars. As a new dealer Mike is doing alright and I hope he is able to expand him business. Im a huge fan of not buying from big business and figured I would try it with cars since i didnt know better. I couldve got a better deal and more honesty but on the flip side I have tried to buy from other name brand dealer and I got offered less of a deal and more dishonesty. Dealing cars is a tough business for buyers and sellers and Hagans motor pool is not the worst or the best. Just another hometown dealer.

I recently bought a used Volkswagen at Hagans Motor Pool. I am always suspicious about buying cars from "roadside used vehicle dealers" and have had some bad experiences with them. I cannot tell you how different that Hagans is. Extremely courteous, no pressure sales people, that have your need in mind. The choices here were absolutely great, and all the cars were clearly marked with the price and features. I am so pleased at how easy the financing was. They made this car buying experience better than I have had at other new car dealers. Had the vehicle serviced (with the veterans discount, another feature not offered by anyone Ive heard of) and it was excellent and timely. Overall, one of the best buying experiences Ive ever had.

Just purchased a 1999 VW cabrio convertible. Price negotiation was easy and upfront- they put a lot of work into the car as part of the deal. The car feels solid and runs beautifully. Very nice family run business! They obviously take pride in their work. It was a pleasure doing business with Tiffany in sales.

I purchased a 1997 Audi A4 and it was my first German Car purchase so i was reluctant but Mike helped me understand the advantages of these vehicles - the car was clean and only had 74,000 miles and now it has 84,000 after 6 months and is going strong - what a great little car - I also had a issue with the heater on a Friday and Mike had it fixed the next day - both the car and repair were vere reasonable and i will go back again - Thanks Mike

Between my calls to Josh and Mike, every time I talked with them they were professional and really did put my needs first! That is something that you dont find with many companies today, and especially car dealers. Mike took the time to find the right car from me. I have purchased many cars, and will say that all through the sales process Mike was awesome, through every step. You can say that it may be a fluke, but while I was there I saw him interact with several other customers, and saw each and everyone treated the same way. I have come here a few times the past year, for both repairs and State Inspection. They have able to get me in quickly and do good quality work on my car. I was recommended by my father to come here and get the work done on my car. They always get me a quote within 24 hours. Since the first time here everyone has been kind and friendly, they clearly think of more than just the money and about the comfort and happiness of the customers. They took the time to hunt down a nice, transmission for my car when mine was busted, finding not only a great quality one but a good price. After all that they do I know I am going to be a costumer for life. And if I ever want to buy a car this will be the first place I look. Because I feel I can trust everyone in the shop. It is great to find a place that makes you feel like they care more about you and doing the job than the money they make doing it.

I bought a Mercedes E350 from Mike in late October, 2013 and found the process to be very easy. I should preface this review by mentioning that this is the first used car I have ever purchased. I was a bit leery going into the process and I have had no experience in the used car area and have heard the horror stories of how dealers will sell you a lemon at every opportunity. This was not my experience with Mike and team. Mike was incredibly honest and forthcoming about all the history on the vehicle. He allowed my wife various test drives to get comfortable with the selection and driving experiences offered by various vehicles. Mike also had a no-pressure approach and gave us the time we needed to arrive at the correct vehicle and do some research on our own. I could not have been more pleased with Mike and this approach. Mike and team also treated my wife with respect and did not try and fit her to a car based on any sort of expectation. I will definitely purchase a car again from Mike and team. I also found the office staff to be fantastic. Amy was very easy to work with during the final paperwork and delivery and did a great job at getting me in and out as quickly as possible. Josh was very courteous on purchase day and worked to ensure that I had the necessary service appointments in place to ensure that I took care of a few after sale activities (snow tires, bushings, and alignment). I do not have great experience with the service department yet but I after this work is completed I will submit a second review for the service area. Bottom line....I would definitely buy another car from Hagans Motor Pool and found the entire experience to be a low pressure, customer centric, and efficient operation. Integrity and honesty are not just words to this team and if you are looking for honesty and some candor, then buy from Mike.

Josh went above and beyond researching the most economical and effective repair for my 2003 Volvo XC70. He was very upfront and honest about what he would be able to repair due to the lack of access to the proprietary Volvo software. He was able to make the repair and for a decent price. I would highly recommend the service here at Hagans.

My cousin bought a Volkswagen Jetta from Hagans Motor Pool about a year ago and was so pleased with the car and the customer service that she referred me and the rest of our family to their facility. I brought my car there for a dreaded check engine light and it wasnt so dreaded. They treated me with respect and took the time to explain to me what was going on which I didnt always get from other shops, I think because Im a female. It didnt take much time. I was able to have my car repaired the same day and was so easy!! I would refer them to anyone I know!!

I bought a car from Hagans in May of this year. Due to their knowledge and professionalism everything was very easy. This is only a part of the reason I am righting this review. I am righting this review because they have earned it. In the past month I have had to bring to different vehicles for three different reasons and all three times I drove away satisfied and sure the job was done right, Not to mention I didnt have a feeling that I just got robbed. The customer service that Mike, Amie and the whole Hagans crew provides is paralleled by none. They have made it their business to know their customers and cars and do an excellent job at it. Mike and Amie have also earned my business and loyalty as I am sure they will yours. I suggest anyone looking to buy a car or just have service done on their car needs to go to Hagans Motor Pool. I couldnt find anything bad to say about Hagans Motor Pool or any of the people in it if I tried. We have made them our family mechanic and dealer and I know you will too.

I dont know if it was his upbringing, or his military service, but Mike Hagan conducts himself with Honor consistently (yes, I meant to capitalize that). I bought a pickup from Mike this weekend, and I wanted to say that Hagans Motorpool was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. When I pulled in to the lot, Mike was working on a car in the mechanics bay. He introduced himself, and within minutes we were on a first name basis. Because I was looking at used pickups, I had a lot of questions. Mike answered ALL of my questions with Honesty and Integrity. When I came back in the next day to finalize the purchase, I was treated well, and with the customer appreciation that is hard to find these days. While I was there, I had a chance to see how they treated customers of the service garage, and was impressed with the interactions between Hagans and their customers. Everybody seemed to be happy with the customer service. I highly recommend Hagans Motorpool for not only purchases, but they will be my regular mechanic shop. It feels as though I have known them for ten years already, but I met them this weekend.
