"Rude And Deceiving"
At first nice people by the end horrible service rude woman who picks up the phone I think her name its Linda , Bruce was pretty stable and nice ,at the parts and service department was my experience. Be aware of ur car loaners because I thought mine was perfect and they claimed I dented . De dente could only be seeing by far away from the vehicle. When I tried to fight the claim they told me they paid good attention to details. Soon as I got home I realized the mirror that was supposed to be done in my estimate wasnt done. So not so great at details as they claimed. When I went back they offered several choices to pay the loaners debt I didnt do, including lowered ing my deposit fee if they claimed with my insurance what made me feel even more uncomfortable since I couldnt prove I didnt dent it. We ended up settling for the debt in the loaner. I complained to Safeco be aware ur insurance is not looking out for u when they recommend u do ur service with the company that does the estimate. I dont recommend this place to anyone and their service was deceiving and extremely rude. I hope the rude lady linda realizes she is dealing with people who are all ready dealing with an accident and becomes sensitive to that fact when she opens her mouth to talk to us . I hope she fixes her behavior.. very bad very bad!
"The Best Car Buying Experience Ever"
This was unlike any other car/truck purchase in buying my new F150. Handled a lot of it online and through email and Doug was great to work with and quick to respond. I got top dollar for my trade and everything Doug said he would do he did. Worked with Maneck at the dealership to drive the truck and he was very easy to work with. Guy was great in the business office and made the whole process simple and quick. Will definitely go back when ready to buy a new Ford.

Went there to get 2010 Ford Mustang GT V8 Like the car but the sticker they put on the bumper with advertisement ruined my bumper. Not cool, had to spend $300 to buff am so repaint. Not coming back!

The best car buying experience I’ve had in 25+ years of buying cars! I usually dread walking into a car dealer because I hate the hounding you get from the sales people. But this didn’t happen at Saybrook Ford. Doug & Kara were interested in working with me to locate the exact Escape I was looking for and travel 120 miles one way to get it .Then when “wheeling and dealingâ€, I never felt like they were trying to give me a “snow jobâ€. Everything was open and up front. Also thank you Anthony for teaching us all about the Escape inner workings.

"Very Disappointing Experience"
Went to Saybrook Ford to test drive and hopefully purchase a 2013 Ford F-150, I was met by Josh a sales associate, who proceeded to show me the truck I was interested in. I was well prepared and had thoroughly researched this vehicle prior to my visit and was well aware of its fair market value. Josh was very accommodating and certainly did his part to try to make this sale. However it was readily apparent that this vehicle had not been prepped / detailed and should not have been offered for sale. The interior was was badly soiled, wood dust was readily apparent in the cab, minor damage and gray primer paint was visible under the passenger side doors from a prior repair. I still took the truck for a test drive where I noticed a wobble/vibration at highway speeds. Josh (salesman) noticed this as well and advised he would have their service techs attend to this. We got back to the dealership and Josh apologized for the condition of the vehicle, but assured me that it would be cleaned and detailed. I noticed and pointed out to Josh the areas in the interior that were worn beyond normal use and the exterior damage on the passenger side. I also noticed that the tires that were originally on the vehicle in the sale add which also showed decent tread had been replaced with cheap "manager special" tires. The tires that were on the vehicle were Firestone discovery - ATs which are several hundred dollars each. We sat down to negotiate a price, I made an offer that was on the low end of the fair market value . The sales manager appeared offended by this offer and rejected the offer. We could not reach an agreement on the price. I was especially put off by the sales manager who walked by me several times and never introduced himself or even offered a hello. I have bought several vehicles over the past 30 years and cant remember a sales manager not introducing himself to me, that just rubbed me the wrong way. I actually felt bad for the salesman Josh, he was great to work with but in the end the dealership failed him and disappointed me.

Last vehicle we bought was 20 years ago - I was dreading this. Lauren Schiedel made the experience great. She listened to what we were looking for, was understanding regarding our financial requirements- fulfilled both. Guy did the paperwork, explaining all as he went. We left happy with our decision, comfortable with the choices we made and surprised at how warm and caring the sales staff were. I started researching this car a couple of years ago, kept my eye on the pricing, we did a test drive in November. Christina Mitchell touched base with us a couple of times on if we were still in the market and interested but did so in a friendly, no pressure way. Very, very comfortable with the entire approach and process. When we showed up without an appointment on a Saturday morning in late January- Christine, Lauren and John remembered who we were and what we were interested in, pulled the file and were able to complete the purchase that day.
