The beginning of my buying process at Carter went very well. Brenda who helped us buy our Chevy Trax was amazing and incredibly patient and helpful. I would have given a five star review if I hadn’t been incredibly disrespected by the woman who worked in the financial department. She was so rude and disrespectful I honestly have no idea how she gets away with talking to customers the way she did. When I told herdid not want gap insurance she said, “are your mommy and daddy gonna pay to fix your car when you leave our lot and total it?†I seriously could not believe how pressured I felt to get something I told her from the beginning I did not want. It made me not even want to purchase the car! I have never been so disrespected during a serious transaction like this in my life. Once again Brenda was amazing and she did not do anything to make me feel this way, only the woman in finance.

I went to Carter Chevrolet because I was referred by a friend in the same field. He just didnt sell what I wanted. When I got there I was politely greeted by Miguel. I informed him that I was here to meet my buddies friend that recommended me there. Not once did he try to steal the deal, however my friend recommended his friend and he wasnt in the sales part of the dealership. Miguel was patient and polite, even though I was substantially more boorish and straightforward. But as I said he was patient and never lost his cool. We ended up purchasing a certified GMC Sierra for my wife and she loves it. Ill return for my truck soon enough. Great experience!!!

I usually dont rate anything excellent, but the customer service and buying experience were the best Ive had. I went in knowing what I wanted and Rob was great, showing me the car that I wanted to look at and answering my questions. The only hitch with the whole process was DMV but that didnt hold up the buying process at all and was taken care of the next day. Overall a really good buying experience.

Great experience with Carter employees today. Went in to get a recall issue fixed, mentioned that my phone and my radio had suddenly divorced. They took me to Bob in sales who gave it a go, then went back inside to make a call to my phone. Still not coming through the radio so he returned with a young tech expert who had all the answers. Basically did a complete reboot. I begged him to come live with me but no luck. He and his wife are off to NYC where he is joining the musical ensemble of "Hamilton!" Very nice young man and I wish him luck. Thanks to the Carter staff.

Seat belt warrantee performed, well done. I had dropped off car in morning. Services and repairs were completed same day by mid afternoon. And ready to go when I got there after work.Thanks again. This dealership is awesome. Every one of the 5 representatives that my husband and I dealt with were terrific. Buying the vehicle couldnt have been easier. I negotiated a deal with Mike through email; he answered every email I sent within 5 minutes. Brandon welcomed us after our two-hour drive from Massachusetts and set us up with Lorraine for the test drive and to have all of our questions answered. Lorraine couldnt have been any more helpful. Dave wrote up all the paperwork and it was fast. (No hanging around for hours like you would do at other dealerships.) Mark handled the money transfer, registration, insurance forms, etc. And, lastly, Bob met us when we came to pick up the car--our 2012 Mazda Miata. While doing that final inspection before driving it off the lot we noticed this little scratch. I guess it was no big deal, but Bob knew it was to us. He had us pull the car up around the side of the building and this very nice guy from the service shop came out and worked "some kind of magic" and that scratch was gone. This dealership is the best. This was my first experience buying a new car and the process went smoothly from start to finish. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Rich was great going over all the details of the CX3 I was interested in and explained all of the features without being pushy or overwhelming. His enthusiasm was genuine and contagious. It was clear that the Mazda CX5 was the car for me, and Dave was arguably just as excited as I was to get me started on my purchase. t was a pleasure to work with Dave Small who was the salesperson at this dealership. I choose this dealership because everyone is very nice and it is a no hazzle to work with.2 years ago, we bought a Mazda CX5 from Dave as well. I was happy with the service provided except when it was time to deal the finance department. I was helped by M. Smith. Things were going smoothly until the part of additional services I could of purchase for my car. I informed Mr. Smith that I had called my husband and we both agreed with didnt want the additional services. After signing all the paperwork, I left VERY ANNOYED because during the loan process, Mr. Smith continuously ask if I wanted those services for my car and he would talk to my husband about these special services.. If I would have a ride a home, I would walked out without the car because of the financial person that I dealt with. I loved working with Dave Small but not the finance department

I was just out of college and had a really terrible car buying experience 5 or so years ago, so when I started my research, the other dealerships proved that car buying was still an awful experience....until I went to Mazda of Manchester and met Lorraine. When i walked in, Lorraine greeted us in a friendly manner, and I mentioned I was eager to test drive the CX-5 in Black, she was just as excited for me, and had no pressure to "sit down" and get my information down. I work a technology company, so I did some pretty extensive research into the car, and Lorraine was able keep up with all the questions I had, as well as go into more detail unlike any other dealership that Ive been to. I recently purchased a 2015 Impala, my second Impala and 3rd or 4th vehicle from Carter Chevrolet. I cant say enough about the sales and service team at this dealership. Ive been buying cars from Carters since the early 80s. Fabulous!!! No hassle, no pressure, no sales "attitude". Mark Cross was my main sales associate, with assistance from Sherri Thompson, when I showed up unannounced and Mark was not there. I have been driving for a very long time, over 50 years, and have purchased many new and preowned vehicles over the years, but Ive never had such a pleasant experience before. This is the second Impala our family has purchased from Carters in the last year and both times we had the same wonderful service, so this is not a fluke. Mark took the time to go over everything with me on the new car (lots to learn about). He was patient, funny and actually listened! Sherri was just as good and very knowledgeable as well. We were still deciding between another make and the Mazda 3 when we first visited the dealership. We went on a long test drive, and were able to get a really good feel for the 3. Our salesman Nate Sommers encouraged us to try out as many of the features as we could on the drive. After that we were decided on the Mazda, but we werent quite ready to buy, feeling like we needed to do more research on pricing and financing. We felt no pressure from Nate and took his card. We returned ready to make the purchase a couple days later and were greeted by Bob Hansen, one of the sales managers. This was on a Sunday, when they are usually closed, but were open that day (with shorter hours and a skeleton crew) for a Mazda sales event. Bob was great! He worked out the deal on Nates behalf, appraised our trade-in, and handled all the details until we got to the finance department. The initial deal offered to us was very close to a consumer reports great buy designation, and Bob worked with us, giving us more than our pretty old station wagon was worth, to get us the exact deal we wanted. Again, it was a no pressure experience, and after the deal was negotiated, with the financing left open, to get us the best interest rate, we returned Monday morning to transact the deal and take delivery. We ended up with a great deal on the financing through them, getting an APR just a little below a preapproved 1.99 % rate we had secured on our own as a backup. The finance manager Mark Smith was also a pleasure to deal with, and he had everything ready to go when we got there, so it was a very smooth process, which did not take too long. He facilitated everything for us, so that we did not have to go to the DMV, and he had also informed our insurance company, so that we were covered when we drove off the lot without even having to call them. Very much appreciated! The car was perfectly detailed and ready to go and Nate spent a good deal of time going over all of the Mazda 3s many features. It was a really pleasant way to end the experience. Nate had also taken us to the service manager Morey, who answered a few questions we had and gave us good information concerning service and warranty protection. The dealership is a bit of a drive for us, but it is where we will be going. Obviously we had a great experience with the purchase and would recommend the dealership itself and everyone we dealt with to friends. Also- we love the Mazda 3, its a great car, were very happy with it!

I dealt with 7 different salesmen at 5 different dealerships during my car search, and Rich was hands down the best. He answered all my questions (both embarrassingly inane and decidedly detailed, going so far as to take me to the service department to get one particularly unusual question answered), and took me for multiple test drives in rather similar cars. He gave me plenty of time to be confident I was making the right decision, never trying to apply any pressure to buy before I was ready. Lisa and Mark were quite easy to work with on the financing, and Lisa made things as easy as possible with all the reams of paperwork buying/financing a car entails. She was also admirably patient sitting and waiting for me to read every line of the various agreements. I can also now say that the service department is easy to work with as I managed to drive over a screw after less than a week. While removing a screw and patching a tire isnt the most challenging situation the service department did make it a straightforward and painless experience.
