Test drove a nearly brand new pick up truck. It all came down to my trade. The dealership gave me Kelly Blue Book. There was no back and forth or "let me talk with my manager" games. No brainer to move forward. I picked the truck up two days later. A no pressure experience. The only question I had was what kind of work was done to the truck before I took delivery (oil change)? It appears the basics was not done (oil change) based on the oil life monitor showing 55%??

I never thought I would look for a car by myself but Michael Green, the salesman, was very patient and spent a lot of time on the test drive and explaining the cars options. Overall experience was awful, with both the manager of new cars and used. Told us they wanted to work out a deal, then used our offer/deal to sell up to another person, after they told us we were all set. They didnt return our calls and had the recaeptionist call us to tell us the car was sold. The day we looked at the car they kept us waiting and waiting, Find another dealer! We bought a newer car, with less miles, certified and a nigher trade in value, but it was their lousy customer service and rudeness that was most upsetting. You can do better elsewhere!

My wifes 1996 Volvo needed a part that was no longer available. Undaunted, Shop Foreman David Dorion personally crafted a replacement part, then created an ingeneous method of installing it without damaging the interior of our "cream puff". Other managements would have turned us away. This dealership and Service Team rewarded our loyalty with theirs. They treat us as if we were family. We are eternally grateful! Yes, well be back!

Patti was really good to deal with, very friendly. Found us the car we wanted and worked out numbers for us. When we hit finance we ran in to a mis-understanding which caused us some grief. As a woman car buyer, I always dread the agonizing process of purchasing a new car. After days of dealing with high-pressure dealers, I stepped into Herb Chambers Volvo of Norwood in Dedham. From the moment I entered the showroom, I felt welcomed, valued, and respected. Ron Scott was so professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and low key. My son and his friend accompanied me, and they agreed that the vibe was so different from the other dealers we had stopped at. No playing the tedious and time-consuming game of haggling...Ron showed me all about the car, took me on a test-drive, and answered all my many endless questions! The business manager was very gracious and came down on the price to accommodate me and earn my business. Then the general manager helped me reach the price I truly wanted by helping me with the trade-in—he even offered to tow my car from Bridgewater to Dedham! It was the easiest, fastest, simplest, and best car-buying experience Ive had over 40 years of car buying. I was about to return to another dealer, but decided over lunch that if the personal treatment I had received—which outshone all dealers from RI to MA—was indicative of future transactions, I couldnt find a better deal or dealer. Patricia Young, the saleswoman I worked with, is a lovely lady with patience and expertise, she made my buying process very easy. I ordered individualized wheels for my XC60, Patti together with Scott and Matthew made that possible, I can tell they put efforts to satisfy customers needs, because changing wheels obviously is troublesome, they need to re-calibrate my car to insure everything goes well. In all, I am more than satisfied with my experience in Volvo of Norwood, and I definitely would recommend the dealer and Patti to everyone else!

I can not say enough positive things about the team at HC Volvo. From the initial phone calls from Amanda scheduling and reconfirming my appointment to the way the care was beautifully detailed with a full tank of gas at pick up, it was a positive experience. I was not an ideal customer when I walked in because I was upside down in my car. The exciting news was that I left the proud new lessee of a 2015 XC60. Joe Kane, Graham Lower and David Molnar played important roles in my decision, but David Molnar is the reason why I decided to lease with HC Volvo. He was a true consultant to me during the whole sales/financing process and did not apply sales pressure while explaining the different options available to me. The check-engine light went off on my V70XC. A Boston area Volvo dealer picked up fuel trim code and told me that the breather box (of the PCV system) needed to be replaced. Knowing that fuel trim code could have many reasons and an independent diagnostic work could be called for, I contacted Herb Chambers Volvo of Norwood. The diagnostic work supervised by service manager Mike Profenno was excellent. It turned out the breather box was not the problem at all and its replacement would have been uncalled for. Even with the advance of computer diagnosis, educational guesses could still be needed to identify the most likely problem, among the many different possibilities, to start the repair process. There are good doctors and bad doctors in car service profession and I will surely rate the service team led by Mike a good and honest one.

I found this to be the easiest and best experience Ive had buying a car. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted by one gentleman who opened the door for me. The receptionist asked my name and within seconds Amanda appeared then introduced me to Tom Naymie. I never felt any pressure or stress during the whole process and Tom made it easy for me, having no doubts that I chose the right dealership. Tom took the time to explain everything about the vehicle, took me on a test drive covering all roads from highway to city streets. Tom was very easy to talk to and pleasant. I have never been so relaxed before when buying a car, new or used. Dealing with David Molnar, the finance manager, was a pleasure as well. David laid everything out so that I understood where all numbers were coming from and explained, in detail, each option available to me for the vehicle I was purchasing. He shared his own use of these options on his vehicle making me feel better about whether I should purchase them. He also got me the lowest available finance rate even after I told him I might finance through my own bank. I found David to be very organized and thorough. Any question I had was answered by both Tom and David and I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. The no haggle or "Smart Pricing" addition to this dealership is by far the best thing going when buying a car. Thank you again to everyone at Herb Chambers Volvo of Norwood. This was my first experience buying from the Herb Chambers organization (I am a prior Volvo owner). I didnt know what to expect. They helped me buy a car that fit my needs (safety, well-maintained, good price) and they made the whole process easy and smooth. The only surprises I received were pleasant ones. I have been going to this dealer for 21+ years with 3 different Volvos over that period. "You want to go where everybody knows your name" and the service team here is fantastic. Needed a headlamp bulb replaced so I stopped by on a busy Friday afternoon with no appointment. Matt and Patty greeted me like an old friend and they had the bulb fixed in less than 20 minutes. You dont get that kind of service everywhere. Nice people, giving great service every day.

I had been looking around for a new car for a few weeks. Buying a car can be a stressful process and I had been to a couple of dealerships that work with Audi, BMW, Subaru, VW, Mercedes and a few other Volvo dealers, but my experience with Volvo of Norwood was the BEST I have had. The staff are extremely nice and at no point I felt like walking away from the dealership. I was helped by Patricia Young, a very nice sales consultant who assisted me with every question and detail about the car. She duly noted down every thing I was looking in a car and then went about showing me the best available options. She explained what every trim offered and which trim would best fit my needs. There was no attempt to sell the priciest car in the lot, the pricing was not exaggerated and was within what I had expected. After deciding on the car, the paperwork was taken care of with no surprises/hidden fees. Working with Patricia Young made this process painless. Scott Brothers and Graham Lower are probably the nicest managers I have worked with. They understand customer satisfaction and are willing to work with you to help you buy that car (again no pressure). So, if you are looking to buy a new car, consider a Volvo and give this dealership a try.They have a great team that is glad to work with you. You wont walk away disappointed. I was looking for a used XC 70 with low mileage and had contacted several dealerships including one in Nashua NH and thought I had found a great buy but then they changed the price so I was disappointed. My husband had called Herb Chambers Volvo of Norwood earlier in the week to inquire about one advertised there and Amanda Mikhail gave him the details. It wasnt 10 minutes after the NH phone call ended that Amanda happened to call and said she wanted to let us have first option to see the car if we were available. We immediately drove the 90min. and Amanda met us and introduced us to David Nadeau who was thorough and knowledgable. We are longterm Volvo owners and he was great! We signed on the dotted line with David Molnar who was great with explaining all the options we could add to maintain the best value in our purchase without ANY pressure. Im not one for added service and other "in case" options but these all made perfect sense and none of these were ever mentioned in my dealings with other dealers. Thank you David, now for the payment we would like to thank Graham Lower for making the same day payment possible so we didnt have to make more 3hr trips for details. Much appreciated! As you can see this started with Amandas great timing and followup and David Nadeaus super knowledge and skills and the finance team. We went to Volvo of Norwood first in our search for a new car. Dave introduced himself as we were walking around the lot. We said we wanted to take the XC60 for a test drive. Without asking us if we were going to trade in a car or asking for our keys, he grabbed the dealer plate and went for the test drive. He was extremely knowledgable. After the drive, we said we were going to look at some other cars. There was absolutely no pressure from him to buy the car or anything. When we went to 2 other dealerships, the experience was what you expect and the stereotypical response of a salesperson. One saleperson at the other dealership must have gotten out of 80s sales training. He said what would it take to get us into the car, even when we told him we did not like the ride of the car. It took us an additional 10 minutes just to get the keys to our car back!! We decided to go back to Volvo. Dave was great. No pressure from him again. When we told him we had a short amount of time because school was going to end soon and we had to get our son of the bus, he expediated the process and we finished the paperwork extremely fast. We came back the next day to pick-up the XC60. Dave took the time to explain certain features that we had questions about and appreciated the short amount of time. Compared to the other dealerships and the non-pressured environment at Volvo, we were extremely pleased about the experience, which is very hard to have when youre buying a car. We were also very impressed with the how everyone treated us at Volvo, from the sales manager, business manager and meeting the service manager.

We visited on three occasions before closing the deal on a 2014 XC60. Salesman Tom Naymie was accommodating during all the visits. There wasnt any pressure to purchase the vehicle. He provided a thorough description of the vehicle during our two test drives. Once we decided the XC60 was the vehicle of choice, I checked out two other local Volvo dealerships. Toms demeanor along with very competitve pricing were the deciding factors in selecting Volvo of Norwood. When we picked-up the car Tom oriented us with all the features of the XC-60. There was a minor glitch with the passenger side rear view mirror. David from service diagnosed and corrected the problem and we were on our way within minutes. Tom has followed-up twice within the month to assure were satisfied with the XC60.

Recently purchased a XC90 at Herb Chambers Volvo of Norwood and the customer service I received was top notch from beginning to end. The entire process was smooth and hassle free and my car was an unbelievable deal. I cant believe how easily it went. As for my car it has low mileage and is in great shape as it had one previous owner who consistently serviced the car at Volvo of Norwood. After owning my Nissan I know how important and valuable an extended Warranty is so I purchased the extended warranty with my XC90 as well. I like the peace of mind of knowing I am covered for anything that may come up even though the car feels and looks like it is great shape. Going from a Nissan to the Volvo you cant even compare the two. I couldnt be happier with the Volvo product and Herb Chambers.
