Sudbury had my jaguar sf for 5 days to correct the coolant. After 5 days the car was returned to me with the problem still occurring. The service help IS incompetent and CANNOT handle Jaguar problems. BE WARNED!!!

I had been shopping for a 16 Range Rover Evoque for a few weeks. The closest dealer didnt have one in the color I wanted and another dealer, much further away from me, had the color I wanted, but played games with me over the payment and then my trade in and left a bad taste in my mouth and completely turned me off on wanting to deal with them. I was randomly looking online and saw Herb Chambers Land Rover in Sudbury and checked out their inventory. I filled out the online contact form and received a response within a few minutes. I explained what I was looking for and the rates I had been given by the other dealerships so we were both on the same page and no one was wasting their time. I drove there and looked at an all black HSE (better model than I was looking at) to see if it was something I was interested in since it wasnt the color scheme I really wanted. Manop had the vehicle pulled up and ready for me to look at and set me up with Yohan the sales rep. He showed me the vehicle and we sat down to discuss numbers. The negotiations took about 20 minutes and I left that day a couple hours later once my insurance agent processed the documentation for me and the car was detailed. I usually hate the car buying process, but they were easy to work with and didnt try to sell too much. I left feeling like I got a great deal (I did) without the unnecessary 4 hours of back and forth that is fairly typical. I cant speak to the service yet, but I would recommend the dealership based on the online sales support, salesman, finance manager and receptionist. Everyone in the process was great. The facility was pristine and what you would expect from a high end car dealer. I dont know if they offered free car washes and some of the other fringe benefits some of the other dealers offer, but I wouldnt use those services anyways.

From start to finish my experience was amazing !!!!!!!!! Rusty was very accommodating and ready to help me with my purchase. Ben was kind informative and welcoming . Sam made the finance part a breeze ! Even after the purchase the follow up was top notch. Took my wife in to shop for a new land rover. Met with Rocco (rocky) Mastrodonenico which turned out to be a very wise decision. He allowed my wife to look at and drive several different models (one twice) without any pressure, all the while explaining the pros and cons of each. He never once attempted to steer her in any direction or show any sign of urgency or pushy sales techniques The entire staff, from the receptionists to Ian in finance were nothing less than professional, efficient, and friendly. Once our decision was made it took only a short time to do the paperwork, finance the vehicle, swap the plates and get us on our way. Great Job !
"Could Not Pay Someone To Help Me."
My husband and I stopped by Landrover Of Sudbury first thing on a Sunday morning to check out their LR4 selection. Despite the fact that we wandered the showroom for about 15 minutes and then ventured out into their lot to check out their inventory ourselves, we were not approached even once by a member of their sales team. The "receptionist" was present but didnt even deign to lift her head, offer a greeting or ask if we needed help and by my count there were at least 3 sales associates sitting at their desks (sans customers) staring at computer screens. Needless to say it was an extremely negative first, last and only impression. Wont be returning and will happily spend my $$ at a Landrover dealership that doesnt treat me like something thats been scraped off the bottom of a shoe.

Service Department is staffed with really skilled, helpful, people but they need help. I have been going there for a few years for repairs/service. This service department is superior to the parts changers in most service departments, foreign and domestic, especially for vintage / older cars but the service department is just overrun. I realize it is hard to find good people but every business faces that challenge. Herb help these folks out and it will improve the customer experience a great deal.

Been doing business here for years with Land Rovers and now a Jag. It seems their hard-earned success has created long wait times to get a car serviced; sometimes two-three weeks. Lately, I will drop my car off early for a basic service only find that at the end of the day they havent touched it. Last year I had two major repairs that tied the car up for more than two weeks when they should have been done in two days. I cant give my car up for days on end and have decided to look elsewhere the next time I need service. This will be an inconvenience in terms the distance to another dealer but at least Ill have my car back in a more reasonable period of time. This is a classic case where building a good reputation has resulted in more business for a dealer who is not prepared to handle the increase in volume.

I was hesitant to take a drive all the way from the South Shore, but the pre-owned 2013 Lexus RX350 looked great in the pictures, and was a great price for the miles. Very happy we did. We had driven several other cars at multiple dealers. All of which were quite nice, but we couldnt find the "right" one, be it either the price, or the details of the vehicle. This one had it all. Nice comfortable showroom, beautiful Jags and Rovers over which to drool! Matt Phillips took us on a nice route to put the RX through the paces; Id be remiss to not mention how scenic it was. After driving it, there was no haggling over the vehicle; just a quick point-counter point on the value of our trade, and deal done. Very simple! Matt was very attentive in assisting us through the entire process. When I mentioned that it might be difficult to come back to Sudbury to pick up the vehicle, the response was, Well bring it to you. Thats exactly what happened. Vehicle was delivered to my work, shiny as new, and with a full tank of fuel. What more can you ask? Cant wait to take it to the Cape this weekend! This is my second car in a row from Herb Chambers. Ive driven over 50 miles to each dealership, and have been happy I did.

I was on my way to work during one of our recent Boston snow storms and the engine light came on. This was alarming, but my LR4 was running just fine. I had hoped it would re-set and disappear, however, on my way home the engine light was still on. I called Pat Higgins. After asking if the vehicle was otherwise running normally, Pat set up an appointment at my earliest to have the vehicle scanned. Pat said he had heard of this before and most likely after three cold starts the engine light would go off. Pat was spot on correct. Pat is always professional yet reassuring. He is a terrific asset to the Sudbury Land Rover team. Which, by the way, from sales to service, is first rate.

I just purchased a brand new 2015 LR2 HSE model. It was exactly what I had wanted, and it was not an easy model to deliver. The staff - I worked with Matt Phillips - stuck with the new car search process, and found me the car I wanted to buy. This was something I know not all dealerships would have done. Securing a car not currently on the lot for sale is difficult and can be very time consuming. By locating and delivering the car as requested, they exemplified a very high level of professional dedication and superior customer service. Also noteworthy, after expressing serious interest in buying the LR2, I was able to test drive the car overnight. Taking the car home for a short ride pretty much confirmed that it was the car I wanted to buy. Again, not all dealerships would have done this, and hence I think this dealership is unique and exceptional. If you are interested in a LR or RR, you must visit Sudbury.

I just picked up my second Range Rover Sport yesterday and Land Rover/Jaguar Sudbury hit it out of the park again! Our salesperson, Holden Moore was fantastic from start to finish. My wife and I ordered our new Range Rover Sport way back in April because the demand for them had created a 4-6 month backlog. Holden kept us in the loop the entire time and answered any questions we had along the way. I highly recommend asking for him when you walk in the showroom. My LR4 was being repaired after an accident. I needed to rent a vehicle so I tried calling Enterprise at the BMW location in Sudbury - that experience was pure agony and produced no results. I went up the road to Land Rover Sudbury and was lucky enough to see Steve, the salesperson who had sold me my LR4. (Fabulous experience by the way. LR is VERY fortunate to have Steve aboard.) I explained to Steve that I had to have a vehicle that day and asked if he had any other suggestions. Steve consulted with the sales manager and within 20 minutes I had a loaner vehicle to get me by until the next day. This is one of many reasons why my husband and I have purchased our last four vehicles from Land Rover Sudbury.

Herb Chambers Land Rover Dealership was the most pleasant and wonderful experience I have ever had at any car service/dealership. Background: My Land Rovers back hatch lock was not letting me get into my trunk. Living in Albany, I naturally asked the Albany Land Rover Dealership for service. They let my son wait for over an hour before telling him they didnt have the part, but could order it and get it in the following week at a given price....calculating a 3.5 hour installation. They had on previous occasions quoted higher prices than necessary which left me wondering about the current situation and my trust in them wavered once again. I needed my trunk functional that next day as I had to pick up my son-in-law from the airport so... The next morning, I called Land Rover in Sudbury and explained that I would be traveling through to Logan Airport on that same day and would they be so kind to take a look at my back hatch which no longer was opening. They had originally said that they were booked until after Christmas but, after hearing my plea, agreed to at least take a look at the vehicle and asked about what time I would be passing through. I said I thought it would be around 12:30. Due to unforeseen circumstance, we only made it to Land Rover at 1:15. ( the plane was to arrive at 2...) But to my surprise, and utter joy, not only was I helped immediately, but Tom came right out with me to drive my car into the service area. He promptly had the tech look at the car and assess the situation. I was then advised that they would have to break into the cars back to see exactly what was going on, and should they have the part, they could then try to install it. He did say it would take approximately an hour to figure things out and would that still work with my time constraints. I decided that with the planes delay, and having to go through customs, it was worth the chance. At 2:20 Tom approached me with the paperwork for the already completed repair!!! Not only had they taken me right in ( a stranger to this dealership) and fixed my car, but they did it in an hour.....and at a price $250 less than quoted in Albany..... AND ...as I was paying the bill...Tom even washed the car! I picked up my son- in- law with a slight delay but, had a huge smile on my face. Thank you Herb Chambers Land Rover and Tom for helping me out!! I am so thankful and pleased to now consider them my Land Rover place! :)

I had a great experience, and was dealing with car enthusiasts not just salesmen. They were all patient with my questions and test drives. They found me the car I was looking for, and made me a great deal, so that I could get into a car with all the features I wanted. Anthony, the business manager was a pleasure to talk to and knew all about cars! Holden the new sales person was really responsive and got back to me on all my questions asap ( a sharp contrast with some other dealers, who may have had more experience but none of the courtesy). And Bobby the Sales manager, really did wonders. When he discovered I was hesitating to make the purchase because the car did not have folding rear seats (and so I could not put my bike in the trunk)- offered to include a trunk mounted bike rack. thats out of the box thinking of the customers need! It pushed me over the edge - And now I am cruising around in my Indigo/London tan Jag XF. Finally!!

I have been buying Land Rovers from Land Rover Sudbury for the past five years and the service has always been outstanding. In 2013 I have had two occasions where I thought there might be an issue with my LR4. Each time I was told to bring my vehicle right in and each time Roy Hildreth said, "We are getting you loaner. This car should not be driven - it would not be safe." Of note, Roy and Patrick Higgins really went the extra mile to obtain a loaner vehicle for me when there was none to be had at LR Sudbury. I had to be in court at 0830 the next day for work. A loaner vehicle was obtained from Enterprise at no charge to me. The service provided by Roy and Patrick is always exemplary. They treat you like royalty while at the same time making you feel like family.

There is a reason we keep coming back to this brand time and time again – his name is Rusty Johnsen. This is the fourth Land Rover we have owned since 2002, and we purchased each from Rusty Johnsen. My wife is an avid fan of this brand and after her most recent mistake purchasing an Infinity JX, we knew we had to see Rusty to see what our options were for getting her out of a almost brand-new car and back into a Land Rover. Needless to say, trading in a new car weeks after buying it is a difficult situation. After contacting Rusty and explaining the situation, Rusty went well above and beyond in finding us the right vehicle and helping us make the trade-in a smooth process and financially a better situation that we could have imagined. Rusty really works with you and for you. We ended up with a pre-owned Range Rover, and my wife could not be happier. Rusty has a lot of patience, is extremely knowledgeable and is precisely the type of salesperson that Herb Chambers should want to represent the Company. He is a terrific ambassador for Land Rover and Herb Chambers. Anyone interested in a Land Rover should ask for Rusty – it will be a very positive experience. My wife and I drive about 20,000 miles a year each, so we have had a lot of cars. Porsche of Burlington sold a car out from under me the very day I arrived to take delivery, and Infinity did not return our calls or e-mails after we explained that my wife was not comfortable in the Infinity JX we purchased from them (in fact, we have yet to see the return of funds for the pre-paid service plan we purchased). Rusty has a unique style that is really genuine and up front. He is passionate about the brand, and extremely knowledgeable. He guides you through the process, makes sure you are comfortable, and engenders the type of respect that ensures you will return the next time around. You feel like you have a friend, not just a salesperson, and I imagine Rusty has a good number of repeat customers. Rusty provides a friendly, no-nonsense, low-key approach to car sales. Yet he is very passionate about the brand and has a great sense of what you are looking for. He does not hesitate to point out why something may not be a good fit, and takes the time to know your situation. He explains the deal very clearly, and although it sounds like a cliché he does “go to bat†for you to make the numbers work. When we come in to the dealership we are his priority. When needed, he expedites our issues to the folks in service, and our car is taken care of in a timely manner the first time, every time it has been in. I am not an SUV driver – I prefer sports sedans and sports cars, but I am serious when I say that Rusty’s approach and my positive experiences with him almost make me consider a Land Rover. It is just so much less a painful process with Rusty and the team than we have experienced elsewhere. Herb Chambers has just about every product you could want within the 50 dealerships, but not every location necessarily has the type of people or service that the Company promotes. There is a reason we keep coming back to this brand time and time again – his name is Rusty Johnsen. This is the fourth Land Rover we have owned since 2002, and we purchased each from Rusty Johnsen. My wife is an avid fan of this brand and after her most recent mistake purchasing an Infinity JX, we knew we had to see Rusty to see what our options were for getting her out of a almost brand-new car and back into a Land Rover. Needless to say, trading in a new car weeks after buying it is a difficult situation. After contacting Rusty and explaining the situation, Rusty went well above and beyond in finding us the right vehicle and helping us make the trade-in a smooth process and financially a better situation that we could have imagined. Rusty really works with you and for you. We ended up with a pre-owned Range Rover, and my wife could not be happier. Rusty has a lot of patience, is extremely knowledgeable and is precisely the type of salesperson that Herb Chambers should want to represent the Company. He is a terrific ambassador for Land Rover and Herb Chambers. Anyone interested in a Land Rover should ask for Rusty – it will be a very positive experience. My wife and I drive about 20,000 miles a year each, so we have had a lot of cars. In our experience, Rusty Johnsen is easily the best salesperson – and a great guy - and because of Rusty no better dealership than Sudbury Land Rover. Our most recent experiences with the Infinity of Westboro and Porsche of Burlington – both also Herb Cambers dealerships - made us seriously question how those businesses could be owned by the same company Sudbury. The differences in their approach to sales and customer service were striking. Porsche of Burlington sold a car out from under me the very day I arrived to take delivery, and Infinity did not return our calls or e-mails after we explained that my wife was not comfortable in the Infinity JX we purchased from them (in fact, we have yet to see the return of funds for the pre-paid service plan we purchased). Rusty has a unique style that is really genuine and up front. He is passionate about the brand, and extremely knowledgeable. He guides you through the process, makes sure you are comfortable, and engenders the type of respect that ensures you will return the next time around. You feel like you have a friend, not just a salesperson, and I imagine Rusty has a good number of repeat customers. Rusty provides a friendly, no-nonsense, low-key approach to car sales. Yet he is very passionate about the brand and has a great sense of what you are looking for. He does not hesitate to point out why something may not be a good fit, and takes the time to know your situation. He explains the deal very clearly, and although it sounds like a cliché he does “go to bat†for you to make the numbers work. When we come in to the dealership we are his priority. When needed, he expedites our issues to the folks in service, and our car is taken care of in a timely manner the first time, every time it has been in.
