I had previously written a review for Paul Smith and Colonial West Chevrolet. The review was very positive and I was completely satisfied with the service and the deal Paul was able to get for me. In my haste to complete the review I did not pay attention to the star rating . Paul gave me 5 star service. Please pay no attention to my first review,
"Delivery Van Review Correction"
My Company decided we needed to replace one of our smaller delivery vans so we contacted our local Chevrolet dealer Colonial West. We spoke with Paul Smith and explained to him what we were looking for. Paul could not find the right Van for us so he contacted the body company and found the right chassis and was able to give us an awesome price on a custom order body. We took delivery ot our new Express Box truck yesterday. We were amazed at how quickly Paul was able to make this work for us. This is a corrected review as our first review incorrectly indicated the wrong rating. We are completely satisfied with Paul and Colonial West Chevrolet
"Right On Trax"
Our household bought 3 trucks (2 Brand New & 1 Used) from Terry at Colonial West last year. We were having issues with the used one and went in and talked to Terry about our options. He told him to give him a few days to put together some options. He had my Son & I come in and look at a few vehicles, some new and some used. After talking with Terry we decided that our best option was to go with a BRAND NEW vehicle. We were walking on the lot when my saw saw the RED LINE edition TRAX and he knew it was exactly what he wanted. When we came back from the test drive was waiting at his desk with all the all the numbers and a couple different options for financing. As always Terry goes ABOVE & BEYOND to make the process as simple & painless as possible. Terry always takes the extra time to explain & demonstrate all the "bells & whistles" of the new purchase and aslo makes sure that everything is working properly . "Home Construction"
I have been shopping for a used Cargo Van on the internet and found one at Colonial West Chevrolet in Fitchburg Mass. In comparing advertised prices for the van I wanted Colonial West had the best advertised price. I contacted the Dealership and spoke with Paul Smith. I explained to Paul I needed this Van ASAP and would be putting money down and financing the rest. Paul instructed me on how we could accomplish this so I would only need to come to the Dealership one time. This past Wednesday I arrived at Colonial West at about 9:30 am. My paper work was ready and Paul had already spoken to my Insurance agent. In about 2 hours time Paul had me sign my paper work registered my Van and had a new Inspection Sticker done the vehicle cleaned and fueled. I was on my way !!! This by far was my the best buying experience I have ever had. Thank you Paul .

I had been buying vehicles from Colonial West for several years so when it came time to replace and upgrade my Equinox I knew where to start m y search. I stopped by on my lunch break and spoke W/ Terry. I told him what I was wanting to accomplish, he was more than eager to assist and just as knowledgeable. It was a very easy process all in all, I was driving my NEW Tahoe in less than 24 hours from walking in the door.

Unfortunately I had an accident and my car was a total loss. I contacted Paul Smith at Colonial West Chevrolet as I had purchased my vehicle from him previously. Paul was able to find me a replacement SUV very close to what I had and keep my payment in the same range. Paul was very helpful to get me into this vehicle.

I mentioned I wanted to trade my regular cab for a double cab HD. Paul informed me that they had the perfect Silverado 2500 in stock with all the equipment I needed and the color I wanted. "Never Knew It Would Be This Easy."
My Wife & I had been going to Florida for the winter for nearly 40 years, this year we decided to stay here. I wanted to make sure that she was driving something that she felt safe in, plus our 63rd Wedding Anniversary was also coming up mid month. I decided to go to Colonial West, this is where I met Terry. Terry greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. He invited me over to his desk and asked me if I would care for anything to drink. it had been several years since my last automotive purchase so I was a little uneasy to say the least. After speaking with Terry for a few minutes I realized that him & I had a lot in common and it was like talking with an old friend. I explained my situation and what I was wanting to accomplish to Terry. He told me that he would recommend leasing instead of buying. He took the time to explain all the details to me(several times over several visits) to make sure that I understood everything. I had been in business for myself for many years and know the importance of "GOOD HELP". Terry is by far, hands down the main reason that I decided to purchase. In all my years of business I had never met anybody as personable and with such a high degree of customer service skills. Terry made sure that everything was taken care of when my Wife & I can to pick of the new Equinox.
"Love My New Silverado"
I was looking for a NEW Silverado 1500 and had been looking for a few weeks. I came across Colonial West Chevys advertisement on-line and decided to make the drive from Attleboro to Fitchburg if the deal was as good as it seemed to be. I arrived on a Sunday and was greeted by Terry who was more than eager & knowledgeable in assisting me. He was able to find exactly what I was looking for in my NEW Silverado. Terry went above & beyond to make sure that I got all the Discounts & Rebates available. When I came to pick up the truck Terry made sure all the accessories were installed and that the truck was fully cleaned. Terry and all the staff at Colonial West were very helpful.

I had purchased my Chevy Cruze from Colonial West a few years ago and was happy with the service I received so I decided to give them the 1st chance on my next purchase. I work 2 jobs so the only day that I had free was on a Sunday. I stopped by and was greeted by Terry as I entered the building. We sat down and chatted for a few minutes and Terry asked me what I was looking for in my next vehicle. I told him I was looking for a mid sized SUV and what price range I was needing to be as far as a payment. Terry excused himself and came back with the keys for a Pre-Owned 2017 Chevy Equinox LT. He walked me out to the Equinox and showed me all the "Bells & Whistles". We then took it for a nice test drive out on the highway. When we returned he gathered all the needed information from my Cruze and he went into the office to talk W/ the Manager Geno. When he returned he had a more than reasonable offer to purchase the Equinox including a fair amount for my Cruze. The process was much easier than I remember from when I purchased my last vehicle. Terry took care of everything from making sure the Equinox was registered, insured & inspected, he even made sure that the Equinox was cleaned and gassed. Terry is very easy to work with and very customer focused in everything that he does. I will always go back to him for any/all of my automotive needs.

It was time to replace our high mileage SUV with a new economical vehicle. My husband and I went to see Paul Smith at Colonial-West Chevrolet and Paul was able to find the perfect vehicle for us. I had been a loyal Nissan owner for several years, that was until we met Terry through our Son who had recently purchased a Silverado from him at Colonial West Chevy. My Wife & I were so impressed W/ the care & attention to detail that Our Son received from Terry and the entire staff at Colonial West that we decided to see if they could help us with our situation. We were paying for 3 vehicles but only really needed 2 of them. We went down to see Terry and told him that we wanted to trade our current lease vehicle as well as our older vehicle, which we still owed money on. Terry explained the process to us in detail and told us our options. He said that he had a PERFECT vehicle that would accomplish everything that we needed as well has being fully loaded. Terry excused himself and pulled around a 2016 Equinox LTZ W/ a V6 that had under 10,000 miles. After driving the Equinox both my Wife & I knew that we had found the PERFECT vehicle. Terry handled all of the paperwork including getting the payoffs from the bank as well as getting the Equinox registered & insured. When we came to pick up the Equinox Terry made sure that the vehicle was fully detailed and even came in on his day off to go over all the options with us. I would/will & do highly recommend Terry to anybody looking to purchase a vehicle. His attention to detail and level of customer service is second to none.

Time for me to purchase a new truck as my 14 year old Silverado had 300,000 miles on it. "B.h.fs New Truck"
Let me begin by saying that this was the 1st new vehicle that Ive bought in OVER 30 Years, so needless to say I was ready for this to be somewhat of a hassle. I could not have been further from the truth. I decided to give my buddy Terry a call and let him know what I was looking for in a truck, after several phone calls he convinced me to come into the dealership and meet with him and order a BRAND NEW truck exactly like I wanted. After setting down W/ him he built and placed the order for my NEW truck. He told me that he would try to order it as a 2017 but more than likely he would have to re-order it as a 2018. He informed me after a few weeks that his original thought of it needing to be a 2018 was correct and that as soon as the "BUILD DATE" was posted he would let me know. He told me that it would more than likely be at the dealership around Labor Day, again as he suspected he was correct. I happened to be driving by Colonial West late one night and actually saw it being unloaded of the car carrier. I received a call from Terry the next day telling me that my truck had arrived. I came in later that day and took care of the rest of the paperwork and was driving my truck the next day. Several of my co-workers had purchased vehicles from Terry and had mentioned how PROFESSIONAL & EASY TO WORK WITH Terry was. I have known Terry since we served in the Army together over 30 ago. I was very impressed W/ everything & everybody at Colonial West.
"Used Ram"
I was in the market for another newer truck to replace my older Ford truck. I did a online search and found that Colonial West had a used Ram 3500 diesel. I put in an inquiry and got a reply back from Meagan in the internet department. I decided to make the 1 plus drive to see the truck 1st hand. When I got to the dealership Meagan introduced me to Terry. I have to say that I am very impressed W/ Terrys knowledge level and even more so with his high level of professionalism. Terry and I took a nice test drive on the highway, when we returned Terry gathered a little information from me and asked me if I wanted to make a offer on the truck at that time. I gave him my offer and he went into the office and returned a few minutes later with a deal that was more than fair. I told him that before I finalized any paperwork I needed to bring the truck to my mechanic and let him check it out, I was prepared for a rebuttal, but to my surprise but none was needed. I came back a few days later and brought the truck to my mechanic where he found a couple VERY minor issues. When I returned to pick up the truck terry made sure that EVERYTHING was taken car of. I would recommend Terry and Colonial West to anybody that I know thats looking for vehicle.

I wanted an AWD SUV with low miles at a fair price. I found one I was interested in at Colonial West Chevrolet and contacted Paul Smith who had previously sold me 2 vehicles. I have been driving an old beat up car for a long time and decided as a delivery driver I wanted a truck. I needed to find a bigger truck to tow the trailer I had purchased as my current truck just was not doing the job. I was at my local coffee shop telling my friends about my problem . My Husband has bought a truck from Colonial West a few years ago and worked W/ Terry. I told him that I wanted to upgrade my Subaru he said that he would go down and talk to Terry to see what he recommended. After my Husband spoke to Terry he called me and said that Terry had set aside time for us to come down after work to look at a couple SUVs that he thought that I would be interested in. After work we went and spoke W/ Terry who by the way is very easy to work with. He showed me a Equinox and a Trax. I thought that I would like the Equinox better, I ended liking the Trax better. It was time to replace my 14 year old Silverado . I contacted Paul Smith at Colonial West and let him know to find me a new Silverado Regular Cab LT. "Corvette C7"
I had been playing around with the idea of upgrading my current 2005 Corvette to a C7 body style. I stopped by on a Sunday after playing golf W/ my Brother, I was met by Terry who was more interested in my Corvette at first than it seemed. After a few moments he discovered that he had exactly what I wanted. We took a ride in a used 2016 that was exactly what I was looking for. When we got back he introduced me to Geno the Sales Manager, who was also very friendly and helpful. After a few moments both Terry & Geno came out to go over all the numbers. I have to say that they were more than fair on selling price and also on the trade value. I told them that I needed a few days to think about the numbers and to look into financing. They both shook my hand and without any pressure let me go about my day. I did a little shopping and gave them a call with a few questions that I had. Terry told me to stop by at my convenience and that he would prefer to go over everything in person. I am happy to say that I am the New owner of a 2016 Corvette Stingray and COULDNT BE HAPPIER W/ EVERYTHING. If you are looking for a car NEW/USED you owe it to yourself to go to Colonial West in Fitchburg at make sure to ask for Terry & Geno.
"Black Beauty Silverado"
My wife and I were interested in upgrading our current vehicle to a pick up truck, we just did not have a idea what we needed, this is where Terry "The Go To Guy" came to save the day. We went to Colonial West Chevy because we had been using the service department there, even though we made the mistake and purchased from another Chevy Dealer. We were greeted by Terry with in a few moment of pulling into the parking lot. Terry came over and introduced himself and asked us who the lucky one was, we all got a chuckle. Terry asked us what we were looking for, and how much we were planning on towing W/ it. He walked us over to a BEAUTIFUL black 2014 Silverado 1500 that was the EXACT truck that we ended up buying. Terry explained to us ALL of the BELLS & WHISTLES and this truck has EVERYTHING. After going on a nice test drive on the highway we went back to the dealership and with in a matter of minutes we had settled on a price. We came back the next day with our trade in and to pick up our new truck. This was by far the EASIEST and most enjoyable experience weve ever had buying any type of major purchase. In closing I will say that Terry goes above and beyond to live up to his name of the "Go To Guy".
"Great Experience"
I was considering my 1997 Corvette for something newer. I drove by Colonial West Chevy and while I was looking at their inventory I was greeted by Terry. Ive been buying cars for many years and have never meet a more personable, down to earth car guy. Terry introduced himself and starting asking me about my Corvette, after a few moments he convinced me to take a ride in the Atomic Orange 2007 Corvette. When we returned he said he would ask Geno put some numbers on mine. Terry was gone for a few minutes when he returned he asked me to follow me in to the office. I spoke W/ Geno where he informed me of the title issue on my car, which I was never aware of. He said that he would need a few days to figure out a fair number. Geno called me on Saturday W/ a offer that I though was more than reasonable & fair I came down later that day and drove my New 2007 Vette. When I arrived Terry made sure that everything was taken care of, the car was cleaned & gassed, he even ordered me a new key and front license plate bracket.
"A Jeep For Me"
My Husband & I were looking into trading my current vehicle for another one due to the fact that my lease was up in a few months. We had purchases our last vehicles from Colonial West Chevy and had always been satisfied. I figured that I would take a look while my Equinox was in for service on Monday. I dropped my vehicle off at service and decided to take a walk & see what they had. While walking the lot I was immediately attracted to a Orange Jeep. I walked inside and was welcomed by Terry. He offered me to have a seat at his desk and enjoy my coffee. Terry is very easy to talk to and it is easy to tell that he is very good at his job. Terry took the time to ask me what my normal day of driving was like. I could tell by the questions and time that he took that he wanted to make certain that the Jeep was the "RIGHT" vehicle for me. After a few minutes he excused himself and when he came back he had the keys for the Jeep, we took it for a ride to make sure that I was comfortable driving it. I told him that I had errands to run and that I would be back later W/ my Husband. When I arrived W/ my Husband Terry welcomed us at the door and asked if I wanted to take another ride W/ my Husband. When we returned Terry had all the numbers ready for us After a few moments negotiating we settled on a fair price. The process was very easy and Terry made it very smooth. I picked up the Jeep the next day, and Terry made sure that it was completely detailed and looked like a NEW JEEP. I will be back to see Terry for all my future car purchases, he is my "Go To Guy".
"I Love My New 2018 Equinox"
I was wanting to consolidate my current vehicles into 1 NEW Chevy Equinox. I had seen the commercial for the 2018 Equinox and wanted to see for myself if it was as good as it looked on television. I had been purchasing vehicles from Terry for several years and the 2 that I wanted to trade had been purchased through him @ Colonial West. Terry has always been a pleasure to work with and has always gone the extra mile to make sure that I am a happy customer. Terrys superb people skills combined with the high level of product knowledge that he possesss are a rare commodity for any business. It is because of these skills that Ive been doing business with Terry for over 20 years and will continue to do so. Terry as always took the time to explain every feature of my NEW 2018 Equinox and made certain that I was comfortable with all of them. Another job well done by the GO To Guy.

I found myself in need of a larger truck as my little foreign truck was not working for me. I had previously purchased a used SUV from Paul Smith at Colonial West Chevrolet quite a few years back so I decided to contact him. He had great news for me as Silverado Pick Ups had 17 % off MSRP. I was able to trade out my truck and get a new Silverado full size. Paul will always make sure you are completely satisfied .

I wanted to up grade from a double cab to a crew cab and I made the call to my Sales professional Paul Smith at Colonial West Chevrolet to let him know what I was looking for. Paul informed me that at the time GM was offering 17% off MSRP. Paul had the exact Silverado crew cab I was looking for and we made the deal happen in a few days. Paul always come thru for his customers.
"Another Driver"
We were in need of another vehicle as we have a another licensed driver in the house. We were looking for a good used vehicle at very low price and contacted Paul Smith at Colonial West Chevrolet. We have purchased quite a few vehicles from Paul in the past and trusted him to find us the vehicle we were looking for. Paul was able to find us a 2011 Malibu with a sunroof and chrome wheels for a very low price. It was a one owner vehicle purchased from Paul and serviced at Colonial for a very low price. "Ford F250"
It was time to upgrade my old F150 to something newer and more reliable. While walking around looking at the trucks I was greeted by Terry. We talked for a few minutes and he then show me a BIGGER F250 that was exactly what I was looking for. After a little back & forth we settled on a fair number for everybody. I was very impressed by Terrys customer service skills & friendly personality. I was able to come back the next day to pick up my truck that was fully cleaned and detailed. I will definitely tell all my friends & family to give Colonial West and Terry a shot.
"Trailer Tow"
It was time to upgrade my 2500 Silverado to the new body style. I have always purchased from Paul Smith at Colonial West Chevy and went to see him a few days ago. With the great incentives on these trucks about to expire Paul was able to find me the right truck and get me an awesome deal.
"Two For One"
We decided we no longer needed two vehicles and went back to Colonial West to see Paul Smith . We had purchased our current vehicles from Paul and we knew he could help us out. Paul put together all of the information on our trades and let us know we could purchase a new Chevy Silverado and lower our payment, Today we went to see Paul with our 2 used vehicles and drove home in a brand new truck.

"My Malibu"
I was in the market for a used vehicle and drove by Colonial West and saw a 2014 Chevy Malibu. I went home and told my Dad that I saw a Malibu at Colonial West that was exactly what I was looking for. My Dad smiled and said that his Go To Guy for cars just happened to work their. We stopped by Monday Night and my Dad introduced me to " his Guy" Terry. My Dad has bought his last 2 Vehicles from Terry, after my experience purchasing my Malibu I am happy to say that Terry is now my "Go To Guy" as well. I was originally planning on picking up my car towards the end of the week. Terry came in on his day off and personally hand delivered my paperwork to my insurance agent so that I could get my car 2 days sooner. Terry took extra time to make sure that he explained in detail all of the features of the Malibu (i.e. bluetooth, OnStar, and the Chevy app.) were all set up and working properly. "Used Work Van"
I was needing to replace my old work van W/ something newer and with lower miles. I stopped by Colonial West and looked at a used Ford Transit cargo van. It was at that time I met Terry. He took the time to show me all the bells & whistles of the van. We talked a bit about the selling price and also the trade in. We were able to come to terms that pleased all parties involved. The hardest part of the purchase was getting the PAYOFF on my trade in from the bank. I will say that Terry made the process as smooth as possible.
"Silverado 2500 Hd"
I had purchased my 2012 Silverado from Colonial West a few years ago as a used vehicle. I went back to Colonial West because I was treated fairly the last time. I was greeted by Terry on a rainy afternoon, he invited me to set down at his desk and asked me exactly what I needed in my next truck. From the info he gathered he excused himself and returned with a 2017 Silverado that was PERFECT. He suggested that I drove the truck because I was going up to a 2500 HD and that the ride would be different from what I was used to. I was impressed that he wanted to make sure that the truck was exactly what I was looking for, and I would be completely satisfied. To me that is a sign of a PROFESSIONAL. I have always been happy with the service Ive received from Colonial West, I do have to say that Terry without a doubt takes that to another level.
