Went shopping for a new/used car. First stopped in the Mini dealership and met Danny Delgado. We test drove a couple of used cars we were interested in but then wanted to try a BMW. Since its Autonation, Danny took us to the BMW dealership. The car we were interested in was a used X5, but since it was a Certified Pre-Owned, Danny told us that although he could sell it to us, we would not get the CPO Warranty unless we bought thru the BMW dealership. He graciously turned us over to one of the BMW people who took us effortlessly thru the rest of the process. Weve never had a problem with this facility but this last time was not good. We arrived without an appointment to get our tires checked out. The girl at the counter told us shes get a service manage and should only be 10 minutes. While waiting we kept seeing service managers who were not tied up with other customer, walking back and forth in front of us. The girl at the counter kept calling for a service manage and it was 30 minutes later when one showed up, only when one of the girls went into one of the offices to tell them we were waiting. Once serviced everything was good, except the car we were given was very dirty and we could smell the smoke in the car.

All of the staff at Valencia BMW go above and beyond to serve their customers well but in particular Ritchie Spiers, is the most amazing Client Advisor (salesmen) I have met in all my 68 years (dont tell anyone, ha) of buying cars. Richie knows his business so well and takes care of everything seamlessly. Your done with a process that usually takes hours but with Ritchie seems like minutes. He is professional, courteous, fantastic in every way. Furthermore, Manny Richards, Finance Manager, was likewise spectacular in executing our contract and explaining extra options available to purchase.

So far my salesman, Keanush? has been well under par. I called this morning to inquire on an online listing. Explained that I would be mailing a check or wire the money, their choice, if I decide to purchase the car. Keanush said he would get cost for shipping as Im out of state and call me back. I did miss his first call 2hrs later. When I called him back, he said give me 20 minutes and Ill call you back. No problem….but it took another 2hrs. So he gives me a total price that includes sales tax. I explain that on all other vehicles Ive purchased, I always pay sales tax to my state upon registration. He puts me on hold to check with a manager on the tax. He returns to say that Im correct and to subtract for my actual total. Im ready to say lets do this and he says that now someone is there with another salesman looking at the car Ive requested. He will call me back within next 30 minutes and let me know one way or another. Here I sit 2 hours later…..again. NO PHONE CALL! How difficult is it to call someone back? Anyway its Saturday night and they are closed. Maybe Ill find out whether I am allowed to purchase this car on Monday?? Not impressed so far. Hopefully it gets better. I will gladly edit, reply, or leave a new review if the experience gets better.
