I cover the entire stage of NJ for work, which means two things, I drive A LOT and I need a car to do my job. Over the course of five years living in NJ Ive been to many of the VW dealerships for service, always not thrilled with the service. Until I happen upon Douglas VW and Marvin. Now I drive the 40 minutes to Douglas any time I need anything for my car. Ironically there is a dealership that performs service less than a mile from my home, however I would rather drive to Douglas any day of the week. Ive bought one, and leased one car from Douglas Motors. Both sales (Nick) and service (Brian) are top notch. I dont like being "sold to", and have never felt I was. Service is clean and courteous, and they even wash your car for free, and provide snacks while you wait for your car. As a woman, I often feel uncomfortable dealing with repair shops, but NEVER have felt uncomfortable here. Take my word for it, you will not be sorry you bought or leased from Douglas.

I have been getting my volkswagen there for the past 3 years, and they have not disappointed. Confortable environment for waiting, and they will offer a loaner if service will take an extended time. Last visit, when I went to get my car oil changed, they found a problem with one my sensors. Dominic my advisor did a little check and found that my car was still under extended warranty. The above and beyond aspect the douglas service provides is what keeps me coming back. They have a quiet room to wait in with magazines, and a pc. There are a couple desk there too, so students like me can study while waiting. They provide complimentary coffee and snacks, including espresso shots, even better for a student like me. Dominic, my service advisor is always honest with me about the service my car needs, and I trust his recommendations.

I came across Douglas VW by chance. I was shopping around for a new car and looked up reviews of every VW dealership that is within a 45 minute radius from NYC. Only one stood out, and that was Douglas Volkswagen. I called them up, had a very promising conversation with their sales manager Richard and later the same day met with Isaac, who turned out to be a real gem of a sales person. He was open and honest with me from the start and everything was very transparent to me as to how the monthly lease amount was calculated. He located and got me the car I wanted within just a few days (keep in mind that if you know exactly what you want, theyll find the car you are looking for in the dealership system, even if they dont have it on their own lot). This is what exceptional customer service looks like! Im the kind of guy who is and remains loyal if I am treated on eye level, and I can honestly say that I enjoyed the experience so much that Ill be back for my next car once my lease is up. And Ive already spread the word in my circle of friends. Douglas VW is the place to go if you are in the market for a German engineered and "Autobahn" proven vehicle.
