I recently purchased a new car from James Ford in Half Moon Bay, The process could not have been easier. I visited the dealership closest to me thinking that Ill give them the first opportunity to sell me a car. I also reached out to other dealerships via email. Jimmy Brandt, took the extra step to find me the color of the car that I wanted and gave me the cleanest offer and the best price. When I went into the dealership to complete the sale, I did not get the usual high pressure tactics to try to sell me more products. I really appreciated the no pressure, easy purchase.

"James Ford Maintenance Of My 2008 Ford Edge"
James Ford has given my car all of its maintenance since it was new. It now has over 134,000 miles. They have always done their work in a timely and pleasant manner and the work was well done. Their rotating the tires on every oil change has gotten me 50,000 miles out of each set of tires.

Gerald was above and beyond the expectation as sales men and service provider. He is service gold, Grade A perfection. I have been in sales for many years and fully understand what it means to provide good service. Because of my line of work I am very sensitive to the service I receive when I decide to go out and make a purchase. We visited several lots and absolutely hated every sales men we came into contact with. I was often disappointed that no one ever followed up with me. Its not like I was out spending my highly valuable off time on a rainy lot for the fun. I needed a car! When my partner phoned the half moon bay dealership she got the gift of Gerald. He was easy going, provided insight, shared his knowledge, followed up, and when we meet with him Im person he was warm, personable and even offered us coffee (its the little things). We test drove cars and he shared his knowledge about each one, providing us with the ins and out all while making us all the laugh, my 12 yr old son too! Impressive!!! Once we were able to identify our wants he went to work and found us a great car. One week later due to our request of a full life we went back to pick up the car. It was a seamless, positive experience and I cant say ive really ever felt that way when it came to buying a car. Its something I always dreaded to be honest. From the very first call, to the moment he was waiving good by to us as we drove our baby off the lot, Gerald was perfection. A keeper for sure! I would recommend him to anyone and hope I get the pleasure to work with him again some day. Who knows, that soon to be 13 yr old will be driving in just a few more years. Yikes!!!! Thank you Gerald, you not only impressed me and my family but made a customer for life.

I came in to have the oil changed in my 2013 Explorer. The staff was very informative and friendly. They even noticed the battery in my key was low, which I never thought to mention and they took care of changing it. Im very pleased and will be back for my next service when needed!

The routine maintenance service was fine. However, failing to order the right door strip for a prearranged customer paid repair results in my having to return a second time for the repair. Time consuming for me.

Steve was great, helped me narrow the vehicle choices prior to my visit, very efficient...found the car w/features that I wanted. Purchase was seemless, however would have been nice if dealership had vehicle in sale ready condition. Car was dirty with chip on windhield, not Steves fault. Husband insisted on taking car home same night before car could be washed....added inconvenience for buyer. Would be best if vehicles are kept in sale ready condition :)

Lacy was fast to respond to my initial inquiry, coming back with a very good offer on the Explorer. He then followed up with two subsequent emails, giving me the photos & details about the vehicle, and then checking back with us. I did not get this service from any of the other dealers I contacted. Steve was also a pleasure to deal with. Our whole experience with James Ford was two thumbs up.
