If you have a recall just forget having Guaranty Chevrolet do the work! Made 3 contacts with service over 6 month period and never got a call back. When I called them and asked (on two occasions) I was told the part was not in (these contacts were 3 months apart). The most recent was a week ago (another 3 months) and the service rep said he would get back to me asap, didnt even get a call back to discuss the recall. I guess they have enough business they can ignore recalls. I have lived local my entire life & this delearship was considered special, obviously that is history...

Andrew Atherton was an outstanding service advisor...top notch people skills, professional demeanor, excellent communicator. There was a small glitch in the technicians servicing of the vehicle and Andrew resolved it effectively and immediately. On the sales side, Victor Hernandez was also excellent. He worked hard to get the deal done and managed some glitches along the way. He ordered some missing accessories the car should have had. Hes easy to deal with and smart. It was a bit disappointing the car (certified used) had a servicing issue within the first two weeks of ownership, but Guaranty handled everything well.
"Reluctant To Honor Warranty"
The issue with my truck was clearly covered under warranty per the warranty manual that came with the truck. The Service Dept initially said it wasnt covered and Im sure they would have gladly allowed me to pay $1200 for the repair. After almost half an hour of wrangling they finally agreed that it was covered. They did a great job getting the repair done quickly but I was disappointed with the hassle over the warranty coverage.

I grew up in the neighborhood and always wanted to buy a Car from Guaranty Chevrolet. Customer Service was great. Renne Garcia took good care of us and took the time to work with us. On Sunday, 12/27/15, I wandered into the dealership for the first time and asked about Corvettes. Chad Poda spent the next half hour or so answering my questions without pushing for a sale. The year-end sale price seemed incredible. In fact, another dealer I visited later that day suggested it was based on rebates, not all of which Id be eligible for. When I returned Monday and asked Chad about that, he assured me that was the price Id pay. Well, I wasnt going to pass that up and I wasnt going to risk another buyer beating me to the punch, so we started the sales process right then and there. The trade-in value offered was a few hundred less than expected, but with the discount provided on the new car, it was really irrelevant. Rafael Huerta ushered me through the paperwork quickly and efficiently, yet had time for pleasantries, without the "hard sell" I expected for all the extras. We went through each, he explained the advantages and allowed me to make my own decisions. I was very pleased with the price he was able to provide for the 60 month extended warranty, which I might have done without otherwise. The car was washed and placed on the showroom floor for delivery. Chad even took pictures for me. Ashley Gumina patiently and expertly demonstrated all the cars key features, especially the electronics and OnStar, answering all my questions thoroughly. The only negative aspect of the sales and delivery experience was the 45 minute OnStar welcome call, which, of course, was not the fault of the dealership. In summary, this was the best new car purchase experience I can remember. Kudos to the professionalism of the Guaranty Chevrolet staff!

I was in for both service and catalytic converter recall. The service was done but had to wait on parts for the recall. So I picked up the car following the service, and returned for the recall. I had some reservations about the service being fully done. Service rep. Ian stepped up to the plate and ran the car back through service and installed the new catalydic converters in record time he also provided the shuttle service for me. Its nice to see that customer service still exsists.

Unfortunately the service process proved to be a bit more challenging than most; with multiple delays & increasing frustration experienced by both parties. That being said everyone involved did what they could to make things right. Service Rep Neil Ellis kept the lines of communication open with me as well as with his supervisor, Service Manager Lee Bramson, & that really paid off. Neil should be commended for his dedication to Chevy & maintaining a high level of customer service. By keeping me in the loop Neil & Lee made it a lot easier to be patient, giving them/Chevy the time needed to get things right the first time. I would also like to commend the mechanic that stepped up & completed the work (Im sure it wasnt easy walking into the middle of a project like this). Finally I would like to thank Lee Bramson again for taking the time to sit & listen to me, his/Chevys customer after all the work was completed.
