I bought a Range Rover that was pre certified with factory warranty and and within just 8 months the Letters on the front and back of the car, as well as the hood vent and one light grill started flaking of fading and turning different colors. I identified that this has been covered in the past from other dealerships but the dealer (South Bay Land Rover,) and the Executive Liaison Peter Callas, were not helpful at all. I asked numerous times to speak with the CEO Ralf Speth to resolve this minor issue but Peter was unable to make that happen, as apparently customers are not important enough for him (the CEO) to call back. I did not want to go to Social Media but our experience has to be known to all so you can judge what company you want to do work with. Buyer beware when thinking about a vehicle from Land Rover as that are not good for their word (they werent for me) and they treat people differently. At the dealership and Company level I have been discriminated against and the dealership has a used car situation which this experience I will be posting soon on Social Media as well. This was such a minor issue for them and easily to fix but they chose to treat me differently then others have been treated and I just want to share my experience with you all. Think before you buy as the relationships with dealerships and companies make all the difference. Best of luck to you.

The service department is absolutely fabulous! I work with Nate, who is amazing, but all the guys working there are excellent. Customer service it top notch and they will go out of their way to accommodate you. The complimentary wash and pick up/drop off are examples of how they go above and beyond. Ive been to other service departments and this is #1 by far!!!

Seriously! Misko is a superstar!!! So patient and willing to work with me. After test driving the car I wanted at the Santa Monica dealership (and not getting anywhere with them) I sent in a request for the specific model, trim and color. He looked up his inventory and told me they had the color I was looking for. We made an appointment for the evening and when i got there, he walked me straight to the car I asked for and even had another as a back-up. He was really great to work with. Highly recommend working with him. Liz in the finance dept was pretty amazing too :). When Im ready for an upgrade- I will be going back to them.

I scraped the curb and broke my Valve stem. Roadside assistance came to my rescue and towed my car to Land Rover South Bay. This was a saturday at 3:00 PM or so and the dealership closes at 5. The replace the vale stem with sensor and checked everything out to be A-OK in one hour. Amazing! Jesse the service associate was extremely helpful in getting this done. The service team at Land Rover South Bay is exceptional. No one enjoys seeing the service required notification on the dashboard, but I know when mine appears I will be well taken care of! Jesse Bulen is polite, professional, and super informative. He goes out of his way to schedule service times that work for me and ensures I am set up with service car. Jason Green is a trusted adviser. I can count on him to tell me what must be done right away and what to expect in the future. I know I have choices as to where I have my Land Rover serviced, but I choose Land Rover South Bay every time because of these two Gentlemen.

We left the dealership extremely disappointed, our 2004 Discovery which had been serviced by this dealership and by British Car Service a certified Land Rover repair shop that the engine which has only 135K miles on it needed to be replaced. We dont understand how Land Rover which claims to have such high quality vehicles would not stand behind us a loyal customer who have purchased (3) vehicles from this dealership. No one offered to help us with this problem we were only told that the cost of repairs would be somewhere around $5000.00. There has got to be someway or something this dealership and Land Rover corporate can do to HELP!
